This note presents the first measurement of the relative intensities of the radiative processes of the L shell of argon. The partial emission cross sections are deduced. Our data show that the radiative transitions within the excited ion are very sensitive to the incident electron energy.  相似文献

We consider open spin chains based on osp(M2n) Yangians and solve the reflection equations for some classes of reflection matrices, including the diagonal ones. From the defining exchange relations of the elliptic quantum algebra, we construct subalgebras which can be characterized as q-deformed WN algebras. The consistency conditions relating the parameters p, q, N and the central charge c are shown to be related to the singularity structure of the functional coefficients defining the exchange relations of specific vertex operators representations of available when N = 2. We propose a new dynamical reflection algebra, distinct from the previous dynamical boundary algebra and semi-dynamical reflection algebra. The associated Yang?CBaxter equations, coactions, fusions, and commuting traces are derived. Explicit examples are given and quantum integrable Hamiltonians are constructed. Effective actions, containing the logarithm of a functional Dirac determinant, appear in 1/N expansions of fermionic theories (N being the number of flavours). We introduce a method to find symmetric solutions of the corresponding non-linear and non-local saddle-point equations. This method consists in using the scattering data of the rotationally symmetric Dirac equation in two dimensions with the angular mometum as a spectral parameter. We apply the method to fermionic theories with scalar and pseudoscalar quartic couplings. The effective action that generates the 1/N expansion admits a closed form in terms of the scattering data only in the particular case when the model is integrable (Gross-Neveu and Chiral Gross-Neveu model). No instanton solutions are present in these two particular cases. This fact, together with the exact results for theS-matrix and form factors, suggests that the 1/N expansion could be convergent. In the general case, the quantum model has an additional dimensionless parameterg R·g R± gives the Chiral Gross-Neveu model. Wheng R>0, tachyons appear. We present a direct construction of the abstract generators for q-deformed WN{\cal W}_N algebras. New quantum algebraic structures of Wq,p{\cal W}_{q,p} type are thus obtained. This procedure hinges upon a twisted trace formula for the elliptic algebra \elp\elp generalizing the previously known formulae for quantum groups. It represents the q-deformation of the construction of WN{\cal W}_N algebras from Lie algebras.  相似文献

Distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAEs) are thought to stem from the outer hair cells (OHCs) around the normally narrow place tuned to the primary tone stimuli. They are thus said to be frequency-specific: their local absence should accurately pinpoint local OHC damage. Yet the influence of impaired tuning on DPOAE frequency specificity is poorly documented. Mice with local damage to OHCs were examined. Their DPOAEs were frequency-specific in that audiometric notches were accurately tracked. The same cochleae were further impaired by ischemia or furosemide injection inducing strial dysfunction with flat loss of sensitivity and tuning, while the preexisting pattern of damaged OHCs remained unaltered. Despite the loss of cochlear activity, DPOAEs produced by high-level (> or =70 dB SPL) primaries remained large in about the same interval where they had been initially normal, i.e., that with nondamaged OHCs, albeit with a slight frequency shift, of -1.1 kHz on average. Thus, the ability of DPOAEs to map structurally intact OHCs cannot be a mere consequence of cochlear tuning as it largely persists in its absence. The key element for this correct mapping is likely part of intact OHC structures (e.g., stereocilia bundles) and must have some tuning of its own.  相似文献
