Single crystals of lead gallium germanate Pb3Ga2Ge4O14 are grown from their own solution melts. The propagation of bulk acoustic waves is investigated, and the elastic, piezoelectric, and dielectric constants are calculated. A new version of the fast optically pumped magnetometer, an optically pumped balanced quantum magnetometer, built around a pair of symmetric transitions in the hyperfine structure of the 87Rb ground state is implemented for the first time. The noise-limited sensitivity of the prototype in terms of the variance is 6 pT for a measurement time of 0.1 s. The basic advantages of the new magnetometer are the absence of dead zones when it changes orientation relative to the magnetic field and an extremely low sensitivity to the drift of pumping parameters. 相似文献

A coordinated study of the dielectric, electrostriction, and pyroelectric properties of the lead-magnoniobate-based ceramic solid solutions 0.9PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3-0.1PbTiO3 and 0.55PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3-0.45PbSc1/2Nb1/2O3 conducted at the relaxor transition temperatures is reported. We review the Lorentz-covariant approach to loop quantum gravity. This approach solves the Immirzi parameter problem occurring in the standard loop approach based on the SU(2) gauge group. We show that there exists a unique loop quantization preserving all the classical symmetries at the quantum level and that the results obtained with it, such as the area operator spectrum, are independent of the Immirzi parameter. The standard SU(2) approach violates the diffeomorphism invariance and is therefore an incorrect quantization of gravity. 相似文献

It is shown that the convective transport in a binary mixture in the presence of vortex convection can be described in terms of Fick’s law with an effective diffusion coefficient independent of the concentration. The form of the effective diffusion coefficient is found for arbitrary convection in the mixture. A generalization of the Stefan-Maxwell diffusion equation is proposed to include an arbitrary rotational mixture velocity field. The characteristics of convective transport are considered with reference to a three-component mixture. A solution of the equation of three-component mixture transport through a long capillary in the presence of convection homogeneous along the capillary axis is presented. It is established that for sharply different component diffusion coefficients a mixture density extremum may appear inside the capillary and then change or disappear depending on the convective flow intensity. 相似文献

The diffusion-segregation boron distribution in the silicon dioxide-silicon system upon oxidation in different environments is studied by secondary-ion mass spectrometry and numerical simulation. The coefficient of boron segregation at the SiO2/Si interface and the enhancement of boron diffusion in silicon as functions of the type of oxidizing environment (dry oxygen, wet oxygen, and the presence of hydrochloric acid vapor), the orientation of the silicon surface, and the temperature of oxidizing annealing are obtained. The mechanism of silicon epitaxy on porous Si(111) layers is investigated by the Monte Carlo method. The Gilmer model of adatom
diffusion extended to the case of arbitrary surface morphology is used. Vacancies and pendants of atoms are allowed in the
generalized model, the activation energy of a diffusion hop depends on the state of the neighboring positions in the first
and second coordination spheres, and neighbors located outside the growing elementary layer are also taken into account. It
is shown that in this model epitaxy occurs by the formation of metastable nucleation centers at the edges of pores, followed
by growth of the nucleation centers along the perimeter and the formation of a thin, continuous pendant layer. Three-dimensional
images of surface layers at different stages of epitaxy were obtained. The dependence of the kinetics of the epitaxy process
on the amount of deposited silicon is determined for different substrate porosities.
