Analysis of ultra-short pulse shaping with programmable amplitude and phase masks

Specified ultra-short pulse waveforms could be synthesized with high-resolution zero-dispersion pulse shaping system.The system and parameters are analyzed and discussed.The pulse shaping system with optimized parameters could resolve the frequency components of ultra-broad bandwidth pulse and prevent the spatial shaping of individual frequency components.The specified waveforms,Meyer wavelet and square root raised cosine pulses,are generated with programmable amplitude and phase masks.

单模光纤中弯曲损耗的测试与分析

对单模光纤中弯曲损耗随弯曲半径(1～8 mm)和波长(1530～1565 nm)变化的实验进行了测试,结果显示弯曲损耗随弯曲半径和波长呈现振荡.理论分析表明由于光纤纤芯中的基模和在包层以及涂覆层中传播的Whispering-gallery模式之间的耦合,引起了弯曲损耗的振荡,理论分析结果和实验结果基本一致.     

Tunability of nonuniform reflection holographic filter

The tunability of nonuniform reflection holographic filter is investigated theoretically and experimentally. It is shown that the reflection holographic filter has not only high optical density and narrow bandwidth, but also good tunability. The coupled wave theoretical model for uniform medium is compared with the model for nonuniform medium. It is identified that the coincidence of the theoretical results of the nonuniform model with the experimental results are better than that of the uniform model.     

塑料光纤双锥与半球腔的活动耦合效应

报道了用氮氖激光实现的塑料光纤双锥与介质半球(称半球腔)之间的活动耦合效应。测量了光纤双锥的发射效率，并测量了锥腔耦合效率与半球腔的表面积、锥腔距离之间的关系。根据这种效应，可以制成塑料光纤活动耦合器；如果再加上调谐滤波器，可制成适合塑料光纤通信网用的信号上下载装置。
