Novel correction method for X-ray beam energy fluctuation of high energy DR system with a linear detector 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A high energy digital radiography (DR) testing system has generated diverse scientific and technological interest in the field of industrial non-destructive testing. However, due to the limitations of manufacturing technology for accelerators, an energy fluctuation of the X-ray beam exists and leads to bright and dark streak artifacts in the DR image. Here we report the utilization of a new software-based method to correct the fluctuation artifacts. The correction method is performed using a high pass filtering operation to extract the high frequency information that reflects the X-ray beam energy fluctuation, and then subtracting it from the original image. Our experimental results show that this method is able to rule out the artifacts effectively and is readily implemented on a practical scanning system. 相似文献

The Minimal Higgsless Model predicts the existence of new vector gauge boson W1± . By the process PP → W1± qq → W±Z0qq, Z0 → l+l-, W±→ qq (l=e,μ; q is hadronized to be jets), we study the sensitivity of searching for this possible vector gauge boson in the level of generator events of signal and backgrounds, then give integrated luminosity required to discover 5σ signal as a function of W1± mass. The generator for the signal PP→W1± qq→W±Z0qq at tree level is developed with the Minimal Higgsless Model and th... 相似文献

The Neighbor Cell Deposited Energy Ratio (NCDER) is a new method that is proposed to reconstruct incidence position in a single layer for a 3-dimensional imaging electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL). This method was applied to reconstruct the ECAL test beam data for the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-02 (AMS-02). The results show that this method can achieve an angular resolution of 7.36±0.08°/√E+0.28±0.02° in the determination of the photon's direction, which is much more precise than that obtained with the commonly-adopted Center of Gravity (COG) method (8.4±0.1°/E+0.8±0.3°). Furthermore, since it uses only the properties of electromagnetic showers, this new method could also be used for other type of fine grain sampling calorimeters. 相似文献
