A characterization of time functions on a spacetime is made by using theMöbius equation. It is shown that a time function characterized in this wayyields past timelike geodesic incompleteness and local Lorentzian warpedproduct decomposition of spacetime, provided that the stress-energy tensoris a fluid. Also, by imposing additional assumptions on the stress-energytensor and global analytic structure of the spacetime, more restrictivedecompositions closer to Robertson–Walker spacetimes are obtained.  相似文献

A kinetic study was carried out on the hydrolysis of two N-nitrosoguanidines, 1-nitroso-1-methyl-3-tolylsulfonylguanidine (TSGNO) and 1-nitroso-1-methyl-3-benzoylguanidine (BCGNO). We observed an absence of buffer catalysis using H(2)PO(4)(-)/HPO(4)(2)(-), H(3)BO(3)/H(2)BO(3)(-), and HCO(3)(-)/CO(3)(2)(-) regulators and a complex dependency of the rate constant on the pH. We discovered the existence of three simultaneous reaction paths: spontaneous decomposition of the neutral form of the N-nitrosoguanidine, decomposition of the monoanion, and decomposition through the form of the dianion. The analysis of the kinetic data has allowed us to obtain the acidity constant for the formation of the monoanion of the N-nitrosoguanidine, with values of p = 11.5. The reaction rate for the process through the monoanion, k(2), decreases as the acidity increases. The application of the principle of nonperfect synchronization shows that the basicity and reactivity do not correlate when there exists a possibility of stabilization of the negative charge by resonance. This behavior is consistent with the mechanism E1cB whereby the stabler the negative charge, the slower the elimination reaction. When dealing with the case of the elimination through the neutral form we observe that the reaction rate increases together with the capacity of stabilization of the positive charge on the nitrogen atom adjacent to the imino group. For the reaction through the dianion we used a maximum value of k(3) = 10(10) s(-)(1) to estimate the value of p for the formation of the dianion of the N-nitrosoguanidine, obtaining values of p < 24.  相似文献

We carried out an investigation on the influence of several alkylamines, frequently present in reactions carried out in microemulsions, on the properties of the water/AOT/isooctane system. The presence of alkylamines has an important effect on the electrical percolation phenomena. This effect of amines on the electrical percolation of microemulsions of AOT/isooctane/water can be explained by taking into account the ability of these substrates to associate with the AOT film in the microemulsion, the basicity of the amine, and the different solubility of the amine in the three pseudophases of the system. A study was carried out on the influence of different polyethylene glycol dimethyl ethers (glymes) on the conductance percolation of AOT/isooctane/water microemulsions. The glymes used were chosen on the basis of this chain length (the number of polymeric units). In all cases we observed a decrease in the percolation threshold on increasing the amount of a glyme added to the microemulsion. We observed a correlation between the effect exerted by the glyme and its chain length, which shows the importance of including them in the interface for the percolative phenomenon. Such inclusion modifies the properties of the AOT film, facilitating the exchange of matter between droplets.  相似文献

The influence of β-CD concentration on the acid hydrolysis of N-methyl-N-nitroso-p-toluenesulfonamide (MNTS) has been studied in the presence and absence of different alcohol concentrations. The rate of the denitrosation reaction in bulk water decrease as the β-CD concentration increases due to MNTS complexation in the CD cavity and the reaction taking place exclusively outside the cyclodextrin. Changes in this inhibition due to the presence of β-CD allow us to obtain the binding constants of different alcohols to the cyclodextrin. These binding constants are in very good agreement with those determined in the bibliography by other methods.  相似文献

The influence of different polyethylene glycol (PEG) on the percolation of the ternary system composed by sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) + isooctane + water has been studied. The additives used were chosen on the basis of its chain length (the number of polymeric units). In all cases, we observed a decrease in the percolation threshold on increasing the amount of PEG added to the AOT microemulsions. We observed a correlation between the effect exerted by the additive upon the percolation temperature and its chain length. Moreover, a relationship between the percolation temperature and the additive partition coefficient between 1-octanol and water (logP) was found. Both of them proved the importance of the inclusion of the additives into the microemulsion interface to explain their influence upon the percolative phenomenon. Such inclusion modified the properties of the AOT film, facilitating the exchange of matter between droplets.  相似文献
