Effect of end groups on complexation kinetics between cyclodextrins and guest polymers

α‐Cyclodextrin (α‐CD) has been complexed with various poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) derivatives in aqueous solution. It has been found that the end groups of PEG derivatives affect the complexation kinetics greatly, but have only a little influence on the thermodynamic behavior. By increasing the hydrophobicity of end groups, the complexation speeds up rapidly. On the other hand, the bulky end groups slow down the threading of polymeric guests into the cavity of CD. By changing the hydrophobicity and the size of end groups, the complexation rate can be adjusted in the range of several orders of magnitudes, which should be quite useful in the design of new supramolecular systems. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Analysis of a type of nonsmooth dynamical systems

In this paper, a class of nonsmooth dynamical systems is analyzed. Extensive simulations reveal the chaotic behavior in these systems. By introducing a parameter, a chain of systems with one end being a linear stable system and the other being a chaotic system is constructed. Then the phase transition process through the chain is investigated as the parameter varies. Difficulties involved in analyzing this class of systems are also discussed.

用皮秒Ｎｄ：ＹＡＧ激光器的倍频光（５３２ｎｍ）对具有离域π－共轭电子云结构的偶氮苯类样品材料作简并四波混频补给，测得三阶非线性电极化率ｘ＾（３）和它们的时间响应分别为１０＾－９ｅｓｕ和２０ｐｓ，并对影响ｘ＾（３）的瞬时光栅作用和ｘ＾（３）的响应时间人了讨论。     

Effect of the susceptibility on the magnetic phase diagrams of a ferrimagnet with magnetic instability

The magnetic phase diagrams of a two-sublattice ferrimagnet with a magnetically unstable subsystem are calculated taking account of the susceptibility. Analytic expressions are obtained for the phase-transition fields and critical values of the parameters of the ferrimagnet. The evolution of the magnetic phase diagrams as the susceptibility of the unstable sublattice increases is analyzed.     

Neutron diffraction study of magnetic properties of TmCo2

The present neutron diffraction studies have confirmed that TmCo₂ represents an exception within the RCo₂ series. It was found that, in contrast with other heavy RCo₂ compounds, the Co sublattice in TmCo₂ does not order magnetically below the Curie temperature (T_c = 3.9 K). This is assumed to be due the fact that in TmCo₂ the intersublattice (f-d) molecular field is smaller than the critical field necessary to induce magnetic order within the Co sublattice, as is the case in other RCo₂ compounds. Furthermore, we show that the magnetic structure and the onset of long-range order in TmCo₂ depend sensitively on the sample preparation, which partly explains the differing results published earlier.     

拟多维高效液相色谱法分离纯化双峰驼精清中的活性蛋白

利用一种新的高效液相色谱洗脱技术，建立了 ｐＨ缓冲液／离子对二元洗脱模式，对双峰驼精清的两种提取物的反相柱上进行了分离，得到了较纯的活性蛋白组分。该法操作简单、快速、比常规ＨＰＬＣ有更高的选择性及峰容量，并可减少活性蛋白的失活。     

二氧化铈还原表面上水煤气变换反应机理

采用原位红外，程序升温脱附，脉冲表面反应技术研究了ＣｅＯ２还原表面在中温变换反应条件下表面物种的生成及脱附，并根据研究结果归纳出水煤气变换反应机理。     

Three Keggin-based complexes modified by an asymmetric ligand: structures,electrochemical, photocatalytic and fluorescence sensing properties

By using an asymmetric ligand with triazole and imidazole groups, three Keggin-based complexes were obtained, [Cu(HMET)₄(H₂O)₂](PMo₁₂O₄₀)₂·2H₂O (1), [Cu₃(HMET)₄Cl₂(H₂O)₂(XM₁₂O₄₀)₂]·4H₂O (X?=?Si, M?=?W 2, X?=?Ge, M?=?Mo 3) (MET?=?4-(2-imidazol-1-yl-ethyl)-4H-[1,3,4]triazole). Complex 1 contains discrete Keggin anions and mono-nuclear [Cu(MET)₄(H₂O)₂]²⁺ clusters. Complexes 2 and 3 are isostructural with tri-nuclear Cu clusters linked by Keggin anions to construct a 1D chain. The 1- to 3-CPEs show electrocatalytic properties and can also act as nitrite amperometric sensors. Complexes 1–3 exhibit photocatalytic activities for degradation of MB. Complexes 1–?3 own fluorescence sensing properties for detecting Hg²⁺ ions.

By using an asymmetric ligand three POM-based complexes were constructed. The 1– to 3–CPEs exhibit good electrocatalytic activities and can be used as nitrite amperometric sensors. The title complexes show good photocatalytic activities for degradation of MB. Moreover, complexes 1–3 can act as fluorescence sensors to selectively detect Hg²⁺.

     

镍电极开路电位测定微量硼氢根离子

实验采用循环伏安法，用镍电极代替铂铑等贵金属电极测定了碱性体系中不同硼氢根离子浓度下的开路电位，得出了研究电极的开路电位（-0．355～-0．280vs.SCE／V）与微量硼氢根离子浓度的对应关系，并用于监测电解偏硼酸钠制备硼氢化钠体系中微量硼氢根离子，同时计算了该方法的误差。结果表明，测量结果的相对标准偏差为2．2％；回收率为98．4％。该法简单、快速，可测定10^-5～10^-3mol／L范围的硼氢根离子浓度。
