Some inverse problems for the nonlocal heat equation with Caputo fractional derivative

A class of inverse problems for restoring the right‐hand side of a fractional heat equation with involution is considered. The results on existence and uniqueness of solutions of these problems are presented.     

On some integro-differential operators in the class of harmonic functions and their applications

We study properties of integro-differential operators generalizing the operators of the Riemann-Liouville and Caputo fractional differentiation in the class of harmonic functions. The properties obtained are applied to examine some local and nonlocal boundary value problems for the Laplace equation in the unit ball.     

On a nonlocal problem for the Laplace equation in the unit ball with fractional boundary conditions

In this paper, we investigate the correct solvability for the Laplace equation with a nonlocal boundary condition in the unit ball. The considered boundary operator is of fractional order. This problem is a generalization of the well‐known Bitsadze–Samarskii problem. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

On the Dirichlet–Riquier problem for biharmonic equations

In the paper, it is proved that the distribution of a measurable polynomial on an infinite-dimensional space with log-concave measure is absolutely continuous if the polynomial is not equal to a constant almost everywhere. A similar assertion is proved for analytic functions and for some other classes of functions. Properties of distributions of norms of polynomial mappings are also studied. For the space of measurable polynomial mappings of a chosen degree, it is proved that the L ¹-norm with respect to a log-concave measure is equivalent to the L ¹-norm with respect to the restriction of the measure to an arbitrarily chosen set of positive measure.     

Representation of the Green’s function of the exterior Neumann problem for the Laplace operator

We represent the Green’s function of the classical Neumann problem for the exterior of the unit ball of arbitrary dimension. We show that the Green’s function can be expressed through elementary functions. The explicit form of the function is written out.     

Fisher–KPP equation on the Heisenberg group

In this paper, we consider the Fisher–KPP equation on the Heisenberg group. We discuss the existence of global solutions, asymptotic behavior of global solutions and blow-up solutions. Moreover, we extend the obtained results to the time-fractional Fisher–KPP equation on the Heisenberg group.
