High spin states in 120Xe, populated via107Ag(16O, p2n) and108Pd(16O, 4n)reactions have been studied using γ-ray spectroscopic techniques. 21 new transitions have been added to extend the level scheme. Two S-bands are extended upto 26+ and 22+;these bands are found to cross the g. s band at hΩ=0. 39 and 0. 47 MeV. The band structures have been discussed within the framework of CSM. 相似文献

Intrinsic dynamics of DNA plays a crucial role in DNA-protein interactions and has been emphasized as a possible key component for in vivo chromatin organization. We have prepared an entangled DNA microtube above the overlap concentration by exploiting the complementary cohesive ends of λ-phage DNA, which is confirmed by atomic force microscopy and agarose gel electrophoresis. Photon correlation spectroscopy further confirmed that the entangled solutions are found to exhibit the classical hydrodynamics of a single chain segment on length scales smaller than the hydrodynamic length scale of single λ-phage DNA molecule. We also observed that in 41.6% (gm water/gm DNA) hydrated state, λ-phage DNA exhibits a dynamic transition temperature (T(dt)) at 187 K and a crossover temperature (T(c)) at 246 K. Computational insight reveals that the observed structure and dynamics of entangled λ-phage DNA are distinctively different from the behavior of the corresponding unentangled DNA with open cohesive ends, which is reminiscent with our experimental observation. 相似文献

High spin states of 121Te, populated in the 114Cd (11B, p3n) reaction, have been studied through γ-ray spectroscopy. The level scheme has been established up to Jπ = 51/2?. Three-quasiparticle states, based on the πg 7/2 2 ? vh11/2 and πg 7/2d5/2 ? vh11/2 configurations, have been identified. A favoured 39/2? state is suggested to be the fully aligned [πg7/2 2]6 + ? [vh 11/2 3]27/2? yrast non-collective oblate configuration. This assignment is supported by Total Routhian Surface (TRS) calculations which also suggest a similar oblate assignment to the states at Jπ = 21/2? and 23/2?. A higher 47/2? state is also found and is suggested to be the fully aligned [πg7/2 2]6+ ? [vh 11/2 5]35/2? configuration. 相似文献

The origin of diastereoselectivity in the addition of alkyl lithium to chiral Schiff bases has been investigated experimentally and theoretically and the formation of the major diastereomer can be explained from the energy minimized structure of the Schiff base in which the phenyl group has been found to orient in such a manner that it posed lesser steric hindrance to the incoming nucleophile as compared to the alkyl group. 相似文献
