A series of random polyesteramides (PEAs) within a range of molar composition from 90/10 to 10/90 were synthesized by a direct melt polycondensation of lactic acid and β-alanine. Their structures were fully characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The resulting copolymers are amorphous; they are thermally stable to temperatures up to 254°C, and present increasing glass transition temperatures at increasing amide content. The copolymers were also characterized by FTIR and viscosimetry measurements.  相似文献

A series of new polyazomethines containing furan moieties was synthesized by polycondensation of bifuranic diamine monomers with commercially available aromatic dialdehydes viz., terephthaldehyde (TPA), isophthaldehyde (IPA). Inherent viscosities and number average molecular weights of polyazomethines were in the range 0.90–1.56 dL/g and 10460–17850 (SEC, polystyrene standard), respectively indicating formation of medium to reasonably high molecular weight polymers. The resulting polyazomethines were characterized by solubility tests, viscosity measurements, FTIR, NMR, UV spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetric (DSC), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). These furan-based polyazomethines were essentially amorphous and exhibited glass transition temperatures (Tg) in the 150–190°C range. The temperature at 10% wt loss (T10), determined from TGA of polyazomethines were in the range 300–380°C, indicating their good thermal stability.  相似文献

The effects of temperature and concentration on the reduced electrical conductivity of solutions of poly-(sodium styrene sulfonate) (PSSNa) in N,N-dimethylformamide + water were examined at different temperatures between 20 and 60°C and concentrations levels between 0.1 and 1 g/l. The effects of temperature were described by an Arrhenius-type equation. The intrinsic conductivities [σ] and the Huggins constant khσ of PSSNa were calculated and studied. Then, dln[σ]/d(1/T) was calculated as the indices for chain ?exibility and molecule conformation, respectively.

These results showed that the intrinsic electrical conductivities decreased linearly with increasing temperature, for all concentrations of PSSNa.  相似文献

This work is focused on studying the grafting of gold nanoparticles (Np) on a cystamine self-assembled monolayer on gold, in order to build sensitive immunosensors. The synthesis and deposition of gold nanoparticles, 13 and 55 nm sizes, were characterised by combining Polarisation Modulation Infrared Reflection-Absorption Spectroscopy (PM-IRRAS), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS), and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) which all indicated the formation of a dispersed layer of nanoparticles. This observation is explained by the compromise between the high reactivity of amine-terminated layers towards gold, and interparticle repulsions. Nps were then functionalised with antibody probes, and the recognition by an anti-rIgG was assayed both on planar and Np gold surfaces. The important result is that nanoparticles of 55 nm are preferable for the following reasons: they enable to build a denser and well dispersed layer and they increase both the number of receptors (IgGs) and their accessibility. Beside these geometric improvements, a net enhancement of the Raman signal was observed on the 55 nm nanoparticle layer, making this new platform promising for optical detection based biosensors.  相似文献

We describe the elaboration of ultra-sensitive immunosensors, to detect the bacterial pathogen Staphylococcus aureus. We utilized commercially available polyclonal anti-S. aureus antibody as receptor. Immunosensors were elaborated by building a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of thiolamine onto planar gold-coated sensor chips. Then, Protein A was covalently linked to the thiolated SAM using glutaraldehyde as cross-linking agent. After a blocking step by Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), the antibody was immobilized by affinity to Protein A. This step-by-step construction was monitored by Polarization Modulation Reflection Absorption Infrared Spectroscopy (PM-RAIRS) and Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation (QCM-D). In a first stage, the parameters of immunosensor elaboration were optimized using a model rabbit IgG. The accessibility of receptors and the homogeneity of their distribution were checked by PM-RAIRS, QCM-D, and by immuno-gold scanning electron microscopy. Then, the specific rabbit anti-S. aureus antibody was immobilized and the resulting sensing layer was applied to the detection of the pathogen target. Independent detection of bacteria immobilized on the sensors by fluorescent imaging allowed validation of the specificity of recognition toward the pathogen as well as a quantitative response of the sensor. Using PM-RAIRS as transducing technique allowed us to enhance sensitivity and reach a very competitive detection level (105 CFU mL?1).  相似文献

Alfa grass pulping was successfully performed in hydro-organic acid medium under mild conditions (107°C, atmospheric pressure, cooking time: 3 h). Use of an acetic acid/formic acid/water mixture as pulping liquor was perfectly suitable for selective isolation of pulp, lignin, and hemicelluloses. The unbleached pulp obtained in good yield was first delignified by peroxyacids in organic acid medium and then bleached with hydrogen peroxide in a basic medium to give pulp offering good physico-chemical and mechanical characteristics.  相似文献

We use polyoxometalates as precursors for the preparation of heterogeneous catalysts. In the starting molecular precursor [{Ru(C6Me6)}2Mo5O18{Ru(C6Me6)(H2O)}], three ruthenium arene fragments are supported on a formally lacunary Lindqvist‐type polyoxomolybdate. This species was introduced by incipient wetness impregnation into the porosity of a SBA‐15‐type mesoporous silica. The evolution of the system under reducing atmosphere is followed by several methods, such as temperature‐programmed reduction (TPR), Raman, and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). The results indicate that the polyoxometalate structure is retained after grafting on silica and allows the stabilization of Ru0 nanoparticles after reduction. The resulting system exhibits interesting catalytic activity in benzene hydrogenation.  相似文献

This work aimed to characterize two native microalgal strains newly isolated from South Mediterranean areas and identified as Chlorella sorokiniana ES3 and Neochloris sp. AM2. The growth properties and biochemical composition of these microalgae were evaluated in different culture media (Algal, BG-11, f/2, and Conway). Among the tested media, nitrate- and phosphate-rich Algal medium provided the maximum biomass productivities (85.5 and 111.5 mg l?1 day?1 for C. sorokiniana and Neochloris sp., respectively), while the nitrate- and phosphate-deficient f/2 medium resulted in the highest lipid productivities (24.1 and 35.8 mg l?1 day?1 for C. sorokiniana and Neochloris sp., respectively). The physiological state of both microalgae was investigated under different light and temperature levels using the pulse amplitude-modulated fluorometry. The better photosynthetic efficiency of C. sorokiniana was obtained at 23 °C with a light saturation of 156 μE m?2 s?1, while that of Neochloris sp. was achieved at 15 °C with a light saturation of 151 μE m?2 s?1. The analysis of fatty acid profile and biodiesel parameters revealed that C. sorokiniana, cultivated in Algal and f/2 media, can be considered as a suitable candidate for high-quality biodiesel production.  相似文献

In this work the mechanism of (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES) interaction with silicon surfaces is investigated at the molecular level. We studied the influence of experimental parameters such as time, temperature, and concentration on the quality of the APTES layer in terms of chemical properties, morphology, and stability in aqueous medium. This was achieved using a highly sensitive IR mode recently developed, grazing angle attenuated total reflection (GA-ATR). This technique provides structural information on the formed APTES layer. The topography of this layer was investigated by atomic force microscopy in aqueous medium. The hydrophilicity was also studied using contact angle measurement. Combining these techniques enables discussion of the mechanism of silane grafting. Considerable differences were observed depending on the reaction temperature, room temperature or 90 °C. The data suggest the presence of two adsorption sites with different affinities on the oxidized silicon layer. This also allows the optimal parameters to be established to obtain an ordered and stable silane layer. The adsorption of proteins on the APTES layer was achieved and monitored using in situ quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring and ex situ GA-ATR analyses.  相似文献
