Comparison of graphs associated to a commutative Artinian ring

Let R be a commutative ring with \(1\ne 0\) and the additive group \(R^+\). Several graphs on R have been introduced by many authors, among zero-divisor graph \(\Gamma _1(R)\), co-maximal graph \(\Gamma _2(R)\), annihilator graph AG(R), total graph \( T(\Gamma (R))\), cozero-divisors graph \(\Gamma _\mathrm{c}(R)\), equivalence classes graph \(\Gamma _\mathrm{E}(R)\) and the Cayley graph \(\mathrm{Cay}(R^+ ,Z^*(R))\). Shekarriz et al. (J. Commun. Algebra, 40 (2012) 2798–2807) gave some conditions under which total graph is isomorphic to \(\mathrm{Cay}(R^+ ,Z^*(R))\). Badawi (J. Commun. Algebra, 42 (2014) 108–121) showed that when R is a reduced ring, the annihilator graph is identical to the zero-divisor graph if and only if R has exactly two minimal prime ideals. The purpose of this paper is comparison of graphs associated to a commutative Artinian ring. Among the results, we prove that for a commutative finite ring R with \(|\mathrm{Max}(R)|=n \ge 3\), \( \Gamma _1(R) \simeq \Gamma _2(R)\) if and only if \(R\simeq \mathbb {Z}^n_2\); if and only if \(\Gamma _1(R) \simeq \Gamma _\mathrm{E}(R)\). Also the annihilator graph is identical to the cozero-divisor graph if and only if R is a Frobenius ring.     

ZL-amenability and characters for the restricted direct products of finite groups

Let G   be a restricted direct product of finite groups _{Gi}i∈I${\{G_i\}}_{i\in I}$, and let Z?¹(G)${\mathrm{Z}?}^1(G)$ denote the centre of its group algebra. We show that Z?¹(G)${\mathrm{Z}?}^1(G)$ is amenable if and only if _Gi$G_i$ is abelian for all but finitely many i  , and characterize the maximal ideals of Z?¹(G)${\mathrm{Z}?}^1(G)$ which have bounded approximate identities. We also study when an algebra character of Z?¹(G)${\mathrm{Z}?}^1(G)$ belongs to _c0$c_0$ or ?^p${?}^p$ and provide a variety of examples.     

Existence of solutions for k-dimensional system of multi-term fractional q-integro-differential equations under anti-periodic boundary conditions via quantum calculus

We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a $k$-dimensional system of multi-term fractional $q$-integro-differential equations via anti-periodic boundary conditions by using some well-known tools of fixed point technique such as Arzelà–Ascoli theorem. We firstly give the corresponding Green function for the boundary value problem and some of its attributes. In addition to, we give a numeric method to verify the analysis for checking the existence of a solution of the system. Finally, an interesting example is presented to illustrate the results.     

Approximately Local Derivations

Certain linear operators from a Banach algebra A into a BanachA-bimodule X, which are called approximately local derivations,are studied. It is shown that when A is a C^*-algebra, a Banachalgebra generated by idempotents, a semisimple annihilator Banachalgebra, or the group algebra of a SIN or a totally disconnectedgroup, bounded approximately local derivations from A into Xare derivations. This, in particular, extends a result of B.E. Johnson that ‘local derivations on C^*-algebras arederivations’ and provides an alternative proof of it.

Weak amenability and 2-weak amenability of Beurling algebras

Let be a Beurling algebra on a locally compact abelian group G. We look for general conditions on the weight which allows the vanishing of continuous derivations of . This leads us to introducing vector-valued Beurling algebras and considering the translation of operators on them. This is then used to connect the augmentation ideal to the behavior of the derivation space. We apply these results to give examples of various classes of Beurling algebras which are weakly amenable, 2-weakly amenable or fail to be even 2-weakly amenable.     

Bounded and completely bounded local derivations from certain commutative semisimple Banach algebras

We show that for a locally compact group , every completely bounded local derivation from the Fourier algebra into a symmetric operator -module or the operator dual of an essential -bimodule is a derivation. Moreover, for amenable we show that the result is true for all operator -bimodules. In particular, we derive a new proof to a result of N. Spronk that is always operator weakly amenable.

     

Determination of protein content in some foodstaffs using 14 MeV NAA

The protein content of various corn-meals /rice, lupine, sorghum, pumpkin, linseed, water melon, tomato/ collected from Egypt and the USA have been determined by 14 MeV neutron activation analysis via¹⁴N/n, 2n/¹³N reaction. Non-conventional sources like tea and coffee residues were also investigated. The concentrations of trace elements determined by the X-ray fluorescence technique show definite differences even for a given type of seed produced in different geographical regions.
