This paper is concerned with the stress concentration factorsround loaded circular elastic or rigid interference-fit pinsin elastic plates in states of generalized plane stress. Statesof all-round tension and simple tension at infinity are consideredand it is assumed that there is either no slip or no shearingstress at the surface of the pin.
