On the Influence of the Lowest Terms on Dirichlet—Type Problems for Elliptic Systems Degenerate at a Point

We consider Dirichlet–type problems for weakly connected systems of elliptic equations of second order with a strong degeneracy at an inner point of the domain, when, in a neighborhood of this point, the asymptotics of a solution is additionally given. The form of the given asymptotics essentially depends on the properties of the coefficients at the first–order derivatives. We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the problems considered in Hölder function classes.     

On the Dirichlet Problem with an Asymptotic Condition for an Elliptic System Strongly Degenerate at a Point

We consider a Dirichlettype problem for a system of elliptic equations of second order with a strong degeneracy at an inner point of the domain, when, in a neighborhood of this point, the principal term of the asymptotics of a solution is additionally given. We prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the problem considered in a weighted class of Hölder vector functions.     

Cyclization of the Reaction Products of p-Phenylenediamine with Maleic Acid

Treatment of p-phenylenediamine with maleic acid and its diethyl ester gave di- and tetracarboxylic amino acids and their esters. A benzene derivative having an -alanine and an aspartic acid residue has been prepared. The cyclization of aminocarboxylic acids to imidazole and pyrimidine derivatives has been carried out.     

On certain modified boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations with irregular singularity

We consider a linear second-order differential equation with irregularly singular point at the beginning of the interval. For the corresponding homogeneous differential equation, we obtain the asymptotics of the solutions and their derivatives near the singular point. Using some modified Green functions and taking into account the asymptotics, we consider three boundary value problems with various boundary conditions (including a weighted one) at the singular point, proving theorems on the existence and uniqueness of the solutions and giving their structure.
