We obtain the one-loop quantum corrections to the Kählerian and superpotentials in the generic chiral superfield model on the nonanticommutative superspace. Unlike all previous works, we use a method which does not require to rewrite a star-product of superfields in terms of ordinary products. In the Kählerian potential sector the one-loop contributions are analogous to ones in the undeformed theory while in the chiral potential sector the quantum corrections contain a deformation parameter.  相似文献

We calculate the moments t q , whereq is not necessarily an integer, of the first passage time to trapping for a simple diffusion problem in one dimension. If a characteristic length of the system isL and t q ~L (q) asL, then we show that there is a phase transition atq=q c such that whenq<q c ,(g)=0, and forq>q c , (q) is a linear function ofq. These analytical results can be used to explain results for large moments for diffusion on a hierarchic structure. We also show how to calculate noninteger moments in terms of characteristic functions.  相似文献

Size-dependent tunneling and optical spectroscopy of CdSe quantum rods   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy and scanning-tunneling spectroscopy are used to study the electronic states in CdSe quantum rods that manifest a transition from a zero-dimensional to a one-dimensional quantum-confined structure. Both optical and tunneling spectra show that the level structure depends primarily on the diameter of the rod and not its length. With increasing diameter, the band gap and the excited state level spacings shift to the red. The level structure was assigned using a multiband effective-mass model, showing a similar dependence on rod dimensions.  相似文献

For a few decades the smallest known non-Schurian coherent configuration was the association scheme on 15 points, coming from a doubly regular tournament. Last year the second author, using a computer, enumerated all coherent configurations of order up to 15. A consequence of the enumeration is that all coherent configurations up to 13 points are Schurian and a unique non-Schurian rank 11 coherent configuration of order 14 exists. This coherent configuration has two fibers of sizes 6 and 8, and an automorphism group of order 24 isomorphic to SL(2, 3). We provide a computer free interpretation of this new object, relying on some simple interplay between group theoretical and combinatorial arguments.  相似文献

In this work we study the homotopy theory of coherent group actions from a global point of view, where we allow both the group and the space acted upon to vary. Using the model of Segal group actions and the model categorical Grothendieck construction we construct a model category encompassing all Segal group actions simultaneously. We then prove a global rectification result in this setting. We proceed to develop a general truncation theory for the model-categorical Grothendieck construction and apply it to the case of Segal group actions. We give a simple characterization of n-truncated Segal group actions and show that every Segal group action admits a convergent Postnikov tower built out of its n-truncations.  相似文献

We investigate the modification of photoluminescence (PL) from single semiconductor nanocrystal quantum dots (NCs) in the proximity of metal and semiconducting atomic force microscope (AFM) tips. The presence of the tip alters the radiative decay rate of an emitter via interference and opens efficient nonradiative decay channels via energy transfer to the tip material. These effects cause quenching (or enhancement) of the emitter's PL intensity as a function of its distance from the interacting tip. We take advantage of this highly distance-dependent effect to realize a contrast mechanism for high-resolution optical imaging. AFM tips are optimized as energy acceptors by chemical functionalization with InAs NCs to achieve optical resolution down to 30 nm. The presented experimental scheme offers high-resolution optical information while maintaining the benefits of traditional AFM imaging. We directly measure the PL intensity of single NCs as a function of the tip distance. Our results are in good agreement with calculations made by a classical theoretical model describing an oscillating dipole interacting with a planar mirror.  相似文献

A radiationless transition process of long-range, resonance interconversion of electronic-to-vibrational energy transfer (EVET) is discovered between the band-gap excitation of nanocrystal quantum dots to matrix vibrational overtone modes using fluorescence lifetime measurements. A theoretical analysis based on long-range dipole-dipole nonadiabatic couplings, being distinct from the traditional adiabatic or "static-coupling" pictures, is given and is in qualitative agreement with experiments. EVET should be considered in matrix choices for near-infrared optoelectronic applications of nanocrystals.  相似文献

Application of nanoparticles for the enhancement of latent fingerprints   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Two different types of nanoparticles dissolved in organic solution, gold stabilized by n-alkanethiols and CdSe/ZnS stabilized by n-alkane-amine, adhere preferentially to the ridges of latent fingerprints; the gold deposits catalyze silver electroless deposition from "Silver Physical Developer" (Ag-PD), an aqueous solution containing silver colloids stabilized by cationic surfactants, to form dark impressions of the ridge details; the hydrophobic capped gold nanoparticles significantly improve the intensity and clarity of the developed prints compared with Ag-PD alone; finger marks treated with CdSe/ZnS nanoparticles can be viewed directly, due to their fluorescence under UV illumination.  相似文献
