No neutral silicon Lewis super acids are known to date. We report on the synthesis of bis(perchlorocatecholato)silane and verify its Lewis super acidity by computation (DLPNO‐CCSD(T)) and experiment (fluoride abstraction from SbF6?). The exceptional affinity towards donors is further demonstrated by, for example, the characterization of an unprecedented SiO4F2 dianion and applied in the first hydrodefluorination reaction catalyzed by a neutral silicon Lewis acid. Given the strength and convenient access to this new Lewis acid, versatile applications might be foreseen.  相似文献

This work investigated the influence of three different collecting substrate materials, Ag and Al foils and grids for transmission electron microscopy (TEM grid), on the morphological and chemical compositional analysis of individual particles collected at an underground shopping area in Seoul, Korea. The feasibility of using each substrate in a quantitative single-particle analysis was evaluated by comparing particle morphologies, X-ray spectra, and elemental quantification results obtained for the three substrates. The morphologies and the quality of X-ray spectra for crystalline mineral particles were very similar among the three substrates. However, water-soluble, CNO-rich aerosols showed different morphologies among the three substrates, mainly due to the differences in the hygroscopic properties of the substrates. The quality of the X-ray spectra of the CNO-rich particles was optimal when collected on the TEM grid. To reliably assess the characteristic X-rays of the CNO-rich particles collected on the Ag and Al foils, appropriate data analysis had to be applied. Especially, the X-ray spectra of the CNO-rich particles collected on Al foil required a new background subtraction procedure. The overall relative abundances of the chemical species, obtained from the three collecting substrates, were in good agreement with each other and single-particle characterization of the real aerosol sample was feasible on the different substrates. However, the TEM grid substrate was the most appropriate for single-particle analysis of the water-soluble CNO-rich particles as: (i) it retains the original morphology and size of the particles, (ii) it allows high contrast in the backscattered electron image (BSEI) mode, and (iii) it provides a high peak-to-background ratio (P/B) with small and correctable interferences in the X-ray spectra.  相似文献

The conformation of dinonyl poly para phenylene ethynylenes (PPEs) with carboxylate side chains, equilibrated in solvents of different quality have been studied using molecular dynamics simulations. PPEs are of interest because of their tunable electro‐optical properties, chemical diversity, and functionality which are essential in wide range of applications. The polymer conformation determines the conjugation length and their assembly mode and affects electro‐optical properties which are critical in current and potential uses. This study investigates the effect of carboxylate fraction on PPEs side chains on the conformation of chains in the dilute limit, in solvents of different quality. The dinonyl PPE chains are modeled atomistically, where the solvents are modeled both implicitly and explicitly. Dinonyl PPEs maintained a stretched out conformation up to a carboxylate fraction f of 0.7 in all solvents studied. The nonyl side chains are extended and oriented away from the PPE backbone in toluene and in implicit good solvent, whereas in water and implicit poor solvent, the nonyl side chains are collapsed toward the PPE backbone. Understanding the interactions between water and atmospheric aerosols is critical for estimating their impact on the radiation budget and cloud formation. The hygroscopic behavior of ultrafine(100 nm)ammonium sulfate particles internally mixed with either succinic acid〔slightly soluble) or levoglucosan(soluble) in different mixing structures(core-shell vs. well-mixed) were measured using a hygroscopicity tandem differential mobility analyzer(HTDMA). During the hydration process(6-92% relative humidity(RH)), the size of core-shell particles(ammonium sulfate and succinic acid) remained unchanged until a s|ow increase in particle size occurred at 79% RH; however, an abrupt increase in size(i.e., a clear deliquescence) was observed at ~72% RH for well-mixed particles with a similar volume fraction to the core-shell particles(80:20 by volume). This increase might occur because the shell hindered the complete dissolution of the core-shell particles below 92% RH. The onset RH value was lower for the ammonium sulfate/levoglucosan core-shell particles than the ammonium sulfate/succinic acid core-shell particles due to levoglucosan's higher solubility relative to succinic acid. The growth factor(GF) of the core-shell particles was lower than that of the well-mixed particles, while the GF of the ammonium sulfate/levoglucosan particles was higher than that of ammonium sulfate/succinic acid particles with the same volume fractions. As the volume fraction of the organic species increased, the GF decreased. The data suggest that the mixing structure is also important when determining hygroscopic behavior of the mixed particles.  相似文献

In the screening of terrestrial Streptomycetes for bioactive components, a new antibiotic designated as diazaquinomycin C (2b) was isolated. The new antibiotic was found to be a homologue of diazaquinomycin A (2a) by spectroscopic methods and by comparison of the NMR data with those of 2a. The same strain additionally produced the akashins 1a-1c. The configuration of the N-O acetale bond in these rare glycosylated dichloroindigo derivatives was confirmed to be beta.  相似文献
