Formale Redoxpotentiale einiger Aminophenoxazone

Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe von Gemischen wurden die formalen Redoxpotentials einiger einfacher Aminophenoxazone-(3) und 2-substituierter Gallocyaninmethylesterderivate (Prune) mit den Substituenten — NH-C₆H₄X [X = H, CH₃, OCH₃, OH, NH₂, N(C₂H₅)₂] in 50%iger Äthanollösung mit einer konstanten Ionenstärke in der Abhängigkeit vom pu bei 25° C gemessen.Die auf p_H=0 extrapolierten Potentiale stehen mit den Hammetschen -Konstanten in guter Korrelation.

Summary With the aid of mixtures the formal redox potentials of several simple aminophenoxazones-(3) and 2-substituted gallocyaninmethylester derivates (Prunes) with the substituents -NH-C₆H₄X [X = H, CH₃, OCH₃, OH, NH₂, N(C₂H₅)₂] were measured in 50% ethanol solution with a constant ionic strength with respect to the dependence of pn at 25° C. The potentials extrapolated to pn = 0 are in good correlation with the Hammet -constants.

The influence of cyclodextrin complexation on proton transfer in piperidinomethyl-2-naphthol

Summary Piperidinomethyl-2-naphthol forms inclusion complexes with -cyclodextrin with an equilibrium constant of 265M ^–1 in aqueous solution. The proton transfer equilibrium between the neutral and the zwitterionic form is strongly influenced by the association.

Der Einfluß der Komplexierung mit -Cyclodextrin auf das Protontransfer-Gleichgewicht in Piperidino-2-naphthol (Kurze Mitt.)

Zusammenfassung Piperidinomethyl-2-naphthol bildet Einschlußkomplexe mit -Cyclodextrin mit einer Gleichgewichtskonstante von 265M ^–1. Das Protontransfer-Gleichgewicht zwischen neutraler Form und zwitterionischer Struktur wird durch diese Assoziation stark beeinflußt.

     

Über den Einfluß der Polymorphie auf die Löslichkeit von arzneimitteln

Zusammenfassung Die Möglichkeit einer Verbesserung der Wasserlöslichkeit sowie der Löslichkeit in anderen Lösungsmitteln von Medikamenten durch Verwendung metastabiler (instabiler) Modifikationen wurde aufgezeigt. Bei Sulfathiazol und Tromexan liegt die relative Zunahme der Wasser-Löslichkeit der metastabilen Modifikation gegenüber der stabilen Modifikation in Abhängigkeit vom p_H zwischen 72 und 80%, bei Sulfuno ist der Effekt geringer, er liegt zwischen 8,4 und 15,2%. DiepK _s - Werte der beiden Modifikationen sind sowohl für Sulfathiazol als auch für Sulfuno innerhalb der Fehlergrenze identisch. Für Sulfathiazol wurde die Löslichkeitskurve der beiden Modifikationen in Wasser und Isopropanol bestimmt.

Summary The possibility was shown of improving the water-solubility as well as the solubility in other solvents of medicaments through employment of metastable (unstable) modifications. In the case of sulfathiazole and also of tromexan the relative increase of the water-solubility of the metastable modification as compared with the stable modification is between 72 and 80% depending on the p_H the effect is less for sulfuno where it lies between 8.4 and 15.2%. ThepK _s values of the two modifications are identical both for sulfathiazole as for sulfuno, within the limits of error. The solubility curve of sulfathiazole was determined for both modifications in water and in isopropanol.

Résumé On présente la possibilité d'améliorer la solubilité de médicaments dans l'eau ainsi que dans d'autres solvants, par emploi de modifications métastables (instables). Dans le cas du sulfathiazole et du «Tromexan», l'augmentation relative de la solubilité dans l'eau de la modification métastable par rapport à celle qui est stable est fonction du p_H entre 72 et 80%, pour le «Sulfuno» l'effet est moindre, entre 8,4 et 15,2%. Les valeurs dupK _s des deux modifications sont identiques tant pour le sulfathiazole que pour le «Sulfuno» dans les limites d'erreurs. La courbe de solubilité des deux modifications a été déterminée pour le sulfathiazole dans l'eau et dans l'isopropanol.

     

Supercurrent pumping in Josephson junctions with a half-metallic ferromagnet

A Josephson current through a half-metallic ferromagnet between two conventional superconductors is theoretically studied. The spin dynamics such as magnon excitation plays a crucial role not only for the conversion between spin-singlet and spin-triplet pairs but also for the formation of the composite state of a triplet Cooper pair and magnon, by which the Josephson current flows between the superconductors. We propose the supercurrent pumping driven by the coherent precession of the magnetization by tuning the microwave frequency to the ferromagnetic resonance frequency in a ferromagnetic Josephson junction.     

Formation of gold nanoparticles in gold ruby glass: The influence of tin

A ¹¹⁹Sn Mössbauer study was carried out of tin(IV) complexes with 2-benzoylpyridine thiosemicarbazone (H2Bz4DH) and its N(4)-methyl (H2Bz4M) and N(4)-phenyl (H2Bz4Ph) derivatives: [Sn(2Bz4DH)Cl₃] (1), [Sn(2Bz4DH)PhCl₂] (2), [Sn(2Bz4M)Cl₃] (3), [H₂2Bz4M]₂[Ph₂SnCl₄] (4), [Sn(2Bz4Ph)PhCl₂] (5), [Sn(2Bz4Ph)Ph₂Cl] (6), in which H2Bz4R stands for the neutral ligand and 2Bz4R stands for the anionic thiosemicarbazone. In addition, ¹¹⁹Sn Mössbauer studies of the tin(IV) complexes [Sn(H4Bz4DH)₂Cl₄H₂O] (7), [Sn(H4BzPS)₂Cl₄H₂O] (8) with 4-benzoylpyridine thiosemicarbazone (H4Bz4DH) and the correspondent semicarbazone (H4BzPS) were performed. The isomer shifts decrease upon coordination due to the variation in the percentage of s character as tin changes from approximately sp³ hybridization in the tin salts to sp³d² in the octahedral or sp³d³ in the heptahedral complexes. The Mössbauer parameters of compound (4) showed the existence of two tin(IV) sites, which have been attributed to the presence of the cis and trans isomers.
