Symmetrical 2,6,2,6-tetraphenyl-substituted pyrylo-4- and thiopyrylo-4-cyanines in which both positions of the polymethine chain are bonded to the positions of the heterocyclic residues by ethylene or trimethylene groups were synthesized. The relationship between the first electronic transition energy of heterocyclic merocyanines and donor-acceptor properties of their end substituents has been quailtatively treated and analytically substantiated in terms of the classical valence bond model and the biradicaloid theory. A simple graphical technique has been suggested to classify donor-acceptor-substituted compounds in relation to their electronic structure and to predict the effect of donor-acceptor strength on their optical behavior. In this context, merocyanines can be divided into two classes which differ in charges and electron populations of their donor and acceptor moieties and exhibit mirror-like responses to the variation of donor-acceptor strength. Two families of new heterocyclic merocyanines have been synthesized and their experimentally observed spectroscopic properties have been rationalized using the approach developed.  相似文献

Synthetic routes have been developed to a number of (thio) squaraine dyes containing the residues of CH‐acids at the central cyclobutene ring. The electronic and spatial structure as well as the chemical conversions and optical behaviour of the compounds obtained have been studied both theoretically and by X‐ray diffraction analysis, 1H NMR and electronic spectroscopy. As shown, the electronic nature and sterical characteristics of the central ring substituents give rise to some general conformational features and crystal packing regularities and also govern the spectral position of the first π–π* absorption band. The structure–property relationships established in the study provide guidance for the purposeful design of deeply coloured (thio) squaraines. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Diamond structures with inverse and direct three-dimensional opal lattices with period of 250–530 nm were grown by microwave plasma deposition in methane-hydrogen mixtures using porous SiO2 opal matrix and its Si replica as templates, respectively. The Si templates can be filled with diamond to the depth as large as 80 layers of the spheres.  相似文献

Monodispersed spherical silica particles, including large mesopores (over 10 nm) and macropores (up to 100 nm) were obtained by chemical etching in an autoclave. A method for introducing globular protein myoglobin molecules into the pores is developed. The method of filling is based on a high adsorption capacity of the developed internal pore structure of the particles. The structure and adsorption properties of the materials are studied.  相似文献

The thermodynamic parameters of reactions of phenyl isocyanate with methanol monomer, dimer, and trimer were calculated by the B3LYP and MP2 quantum-chemical methods. The enthalpies and entropies of transformations were found to increase as the degree of methanol association grew. An isokinetic dependence was observed for the transformations under consideration. The influence of the polarity of solvents on the Gibbs energies of these reactions was estimated.  相似文献

A method has been proposed for filling bulk and film opals with V2O5 and V2O5: W melts under the action of capillary forces. The VO2 and VO2: W (1.8 mol %) compounds have been synthesized from the V2O5 and V2O5: W precursors in opal pores. The phase composition and morphology of the nanocomposites prepared have been investigated. It has been revealed that, in the opal-V2O5 composite, the filler compound has a texture formed by the directional crystallization of the melt in pores of the opal film. The tunable photonic crystal heterostructure opal/opal-VO2 has been synthesized using liquid chemical etching.  相似文献

The process of coagulation of suspensions of monodisperse spherical silica particles driven by appropriate coagulants (NH4Cl, HCl, C16H33N(CH3)3Br) has been studied. Films of photonic crystals and photonic glasses have been grown by the sedimentation method. The possibility of controlling the degree of structural disorder in colloidal films by properly varying the resistance of the water suspension of particles to aggregation has been demonstrated.  相似文献
