Guanidination has been used to investigate how modification of the lysine eta-amino group into the corresponding guanidino group affects response in electrospray (ES) mass spectrometry (MS). Selected ion monitoring (SIM) analysis of equimolar mixtures containing arginine-, lysine- and the corresponding homoarginine-terminal peptides following liquid chromatography (LC) showed differences in ES response. The ionisation behaviour of the standard peptides is in accordance with the postulated higher stability of the guanidino group present on arginine- and homoarginine-terminal peptides. Modification of the separation conditions employed during LC demonstrates that relative abundances of electrosprayed peptides ions rely mostly on peptide structure.  相似文献

L-Ribose was synthesized by a simple four-step method with overall yield of 76.3% from a protected L-arabinose derivative, which is a compatible intermediate for the synthesis of L-deoxyribose. The key step of this strategy is the Swern oxidation and subsequent stereoselective reduction accompanied by inversion of the 2-hydroxy group of protected L-arabinose.  相似文献

Ultra thin poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PIPAAm) modified glass coverslips (PIAPAm‐CS) using electron beam irradiation exhibited a clear relationship between the polymer thickness and thermal cell adhesion/detachment behavior. The polymer thickness dependency and the characteristic of ultra thin PIPAAm layer, has been illustrated in terms of the molecular motion of the modified PIPAAm chains. PIPAAm‐CSs surfaces with various area‐polymer densities and thicknesses were characterized by AFM and protein adsorption assay. The newly obtained results gave a further insight into the illustration. Finally, the future application of intelligent surfaces was discussed for fabricating tissue and organ.

Novel materials and a metallization technique for the printed electronics were studied. Insulator inks and conductive inks were investigated. For the conductive ink, the nano-sized copper particles were used as metallic sources. These particles were prepared from a copper complex by a laser irradiation process in the liquid phase. Nano-sized copper particles were consisted of a thin copper oxide layer and a metal copper core wrapped by the layer. The conductive ink showed good ink-jettability. In order to metallize the printed trace of the conductive ink on a substrate, the atomic hydrogen treatment was carried out. Atomic hydrogen was generated on a heated tungsten wire and carried on the substrate. The temperature of the substrate was up to 60 °C during the treatment. After the treatment, the conductivity of a copper trace was 3 μΩ cm. It was considered that printed wiring boards can be easily fabricated by employing the above materials.  相似文献

The analysis of deuterium wideline NMR spectra has been an essential step in characterizing the dynamics of molecules in the solid-state. Although clearly important, the identification of quadrupolar coupling constants (QCCs) from the powder patterns is often complicated by poor sensitivity and/or spectral overlap. Previously, others have demonstrated the utility of “de-Pake-ing”, a mathematical transform that yields the QCCs in a straightforward manner for symmetric (η = 0) sites. In this short paper, we describe our analysis of a powder sample of perdeutero-malonic acid, a molecule with two distinct deuteron environments and asymmetries. The methylene sites are immediately amenable to the standard de-Pake-ing transform analysis due to their low asymmetry. However, the de-Pake-ing methodology for the acid deuterons, for which the asymmetry deviates significantly from zero, requires more analysis to extract their QCCs. The impact of this work on the future application of de-Pake-ing to a wider range of samples is also discussed.  相似文献
