The anomalous proximity effect between a d-wave superconductor and a thin disordered normal layer is studied theoretically in the framework of Eilenberger equations. It is shown that disorder of the quasiparticle reflection from this thin layer leads to the formation of an s-wave component localized near the boundary. The angular and spatial structure of the pair potential near the interface is studied. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. We study the critical temperature T c of FSF trilayers (F is a ferromagnet, S is a singlet superconductor), where the triplet superconducting component is generated at noncollinear magnetizations of the F layers. An exact numerical method is employed to calculate T c as a function of the trilayer parameters, in particular, mutual orientation of magnetizations. Analytically, we consider limiting cases. Our results determine the conditions necessary for the existence of recently investigated odd triplet superconductivity in SF multilayers.  相似文献

We present a general theory of the proximity effect in junctions between diffusive normal metals (DN) and superconductors. Various possible symmetry classes in a superconductor are considered: even-frequency spin-singlet even-parity (ESE) state, even-frequency spin-triplet odd-parity state, odd-frequency spin-triplet even-parity (OTE) state and odd-frequency spin-singlet odd-parity state. It is shown that the pair amplitude in a DN belongs, respectively, to an ESE, OTE, OTE, and ESE pairing state since only the even-parity s-wave pairing is possible due to the impurity scattering.  相似文献

It is well established that the superconductivity in the recently discovered superconducting compound MgB2 resides in the quasi-two-dimensional band (sigma band) and three-dimensional band (pi band). We demonstrate that, due to such band structure, the anisotropic Ginzburg-Landau theory practically does not have a region of applicability, because gradient expansion in the c direction breaks down. In the case of a dirty pi band, we derive the simplest equations, which describe properties of such superconductors near Tc, and explore some consequences of these equations.  相似文献

We investigate the vortex state in a two-band superconductor with strong intraband and weak interband electronic scattering rates. Coupled Usadel equations are solved numerically, and the distributions of the pair potentials and local densities of states are calculated for two bands at different values of magnetic fields. The existence of two distinct length scales corresponding to different bands is demonstrated. The results provide qualitative interpretation of recent scanning tunneling microscopy experiments on vortex structure imaging in MgB2.  相似文献

We report measurements of the temperature dependence of the critical current, I(c), in Josephson junctions consisting of conventional superconducting banks of Nb and a weakly ferromagnetic interlayer of a CuxNi1-x alloy, with x around 0.5. With decreasing temperature I(c) generally increases, but for specific thicknesses of the ferromagnetic interlayer, a maximum is found followed by a strong decrease down to zero, after which I(c) rises again. Such a sharp cusp can be explained only by assuming that the junction changes from a 0-phase state at high temperatures to a pi phase state at low temperatures.  相似文献

We have measured the current-phase relationship I(varphi) of symmetric 45 degrees YBa2Cu3O7-x grain boundary Josephson junctions. Substantial deviations of the Josephson current from conventional tunnel-junction behavior have been observed: (i) The critical current exhibits, as a function of temperature T, a local minimum at a temperature T*. (ii) At T approximately T*, the first harmonic of I(phi) changes sign. (iii) For T相似文献

We obtain sufficient conditions for the Fourier transform of a function fL 1(?) to belong to generalized Lipschitz classes defined by the modulus of smoothness of order m. The sharpness of these conditions is established in the cases when f(t) ≥ 0 on ? or tf (t) ≥ 0 on ?.  相似文献

A quantitative theory of the Josephson effect in SFIFS junctions (S denotes bulk superconductor, F is metallic ferromagnet, and I is insulating barrier) is presented in the dirty limit. A fully self-consistent numerical procedure is employed to solve the Usadel equations for arbitrary values of the F-layer thicknesses, magnetizations, and interface parameters. In the case of antiparallel ferromagnet magnetizations, the effect of critical current I c enhancement by the exchange energy H is observed, while in the case of parallel magnetizations the junction exhibits a transition to the π state. In the limit of thin F layers, we study these peculiarities of the critical current analytically and explain them qualitatively; the scenario of the 0-πtransition in our case differs from those studied before. The effect of switching between 0 and π states by changing the mutual orientation of F layers is demonstrated.  相似文献
