1H NMR measurements are reported for the CD2Cl2/CDCl3 solutions of the Co(II) calix[4]arenetetraphosphineoxide complex (I). Temperature dependences of the 1H NMR spectra of I have been analyzed using the line shape analysis, taking into account the temperature variation of paramagnetic chemical shifts, within the frame of the dynamic NMR method. Conformational dynamics of the 2:1 Co(II) calix[4]arene complexes was conditioned by the pinched cone ↔pinched cone interconversion of I (with activation Gibbs energy ΔG≠(298K) = 40 ± 3 kJ/mol. Due to substantial temperature dependence of paramagnetic shifts, complex I can be used as model compound for designing an NMR thermosensor reagent for local temperature monitoring. 相似文献

The applications of zerovalent iron nanoparticles (nZVI) exploit their high reactivity which decreases due to oxidation in aerobic conditions during manufacture, application, and storage. In this study, we present the new procedure for estimation of the nZVI stability to oxidation in air. The procedure is suitable for characterization of the novel materials based on the supported nZVI. Nanoscale particles were synthesized inside porous silica supports by incipient wetness impregnation with the metal precursor solutions followed by thermal treatment. The TG–DTA studies revealed the decomposition temperature of the supported precursors, as well as the interaction of Fe and precious metal precursors, which resulted in the formation of alloy nanoparticles. Characterization of the samples by XRD confirmed the formation of the nanoparticles of the metallic Pd, Pt, and Fe phases supported on SiO2 carriers, as well as the formation of solid solutions based on the structure of precious metals. The new procedure for estimation of the nZVI stability included (1) TPR with hydrogen up to 400–425 °C followed by isothermal reduction at these temperatures; (2) in situ reoxidation with oxygen at room temperature. The samples were reduced “as obtained” and after in situ reoxidation. The results of the TPR studies exhibited that introduction of both Pd and Pt protected the Fe nanoparticles from oxidation with oxygen and air at ambient conditions. 相似文献

It is known that if X contains no subgroup topologically isomorphic to the circle group \(\mathbb {T}\), then the independence of the linear forms \(L_1=\alpha _1\xi _1+\alpha _2\xi _2\) and \(L_2=\beta _1\xi _1+\beta _2\xi _2\) implies that \(\mu _j\) are Gaussian distributions. We prove that if X contains no subgroup topologically isomorphic to \(\mathbb {T}^2\), then the independence of \(L_1\) and \(L_2\) implies that \(\mu _j\) are either Gaussian distributions or convolutions of Gaussian distributions and signed measures supported in a subgroup of X generated by an element of order 2. We study theoretically the Vavilov-Čerenkov radiation from a nonrelativistic electron bunch moving in free space over a left-handed
medium. It is shown that in the frequency range in which the refractive index of the medium is negative, Vavilov-Čerenkov
radiation leads to simultaneous excitation of volume and surface electromagnetic waves in the same frequency range. The wave
vector of the surface wave in the plane of an interface of two media is greater in magnitude than the corresponding quantity
for the volume wave. The energy fluxes of volume and surface waves in the left-handed medium are studied. The radiation pattern
of the bunch is found.

The article presents a Web-based platform for collecting and storing toxicological structural alerts from literature and for virtual screening of chemical libraries to flag potentially toxic chemicals and compounds that can cause adverse side effects. An alert is uniquely identified by a SMARTS template, a toxicological endpoint, and a publication where the alert was described. Additionally, the system allows storing complementary information such as name, comments, and mechanism of action, as well as other data. Most importantly, the platform can be easily used for fast virtual screening of large chemical datasets, focused libraries, or newly designed compounds against the toxicological alerts, providing a detailed profile of the chemicals grouped by structural alerts and endpoints. Such a facility can be used for decision making regarding whether a compound should be tested experimentally, validated with available QSAR models, or eliminated from consideration altogether. The alert-based screening can also be helpful for an easier interpretation of more complex QSAR models. The system is publicly accessible and tightly integrated with the Online Chemical Modeling Environment (OCHEM, http://ochem.eu ). The system is open and expandable: any registered OCHEM user can introduce new alerts, browse, edit alerts introduced by other users, and virtually screen his/her data sets against all or selected alerts. The user sets being passed through the structural alerts can be used at OCHEM for other typical tasks: exporting in a wide variety of formats, development of QSAR models, additional filtering by other criteria, etc. The database already contains almost 600 structural alerts for such endpoints as mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, skin sensitization, compounds that undergo metabolic activation, and compounds that form reactive metabolites and, thus, can cause adverse reactions.
