We give a condition on a Gibbs measure for an attractive Markov specification, which assures extremality and the global Markov property. As an example of application we consider the class of attractive Markov specifications defined on a compact configuration space over a two-dimensional lattice by the interaction Hamiltonians (assumed to have a finite set of periodic ground configurations) satisfying Peierl's condition. Replacement of chloride in (PNP)RuCl, PNP = (tBu2PCH2SiMe2)2N, by Me3SiN3 gives a pre-redox adduct that, already at -30 degrees C, releases N2 to produce the mononuclear nonplanar Ru(IV) nitride (PNP)RuN, characterized by spectroscopic and X-ray methods. DFT calculations show the planar structure to be only 1.6 kcal/mol less stable, which explains the time-averaged simplicity of the 1H NMR spectrum, as well as the large vibrational amplitude of the nitride ligand. 相似文献

The reaction of [(Cymene)RuCl2]2 with the chelate LiHC(PPh2NPh)2 occurs to remove both chloride ligands, to furnish a cationic Ru(II) complex with the monoanionic ligand bound eta3, through two N and an sp3 carbon. This cation is also produced from the conjugate acid of the ligand H2C(PPh2NPh)2 because this molecule can serve as a Br?nsted base, to deprotonate the acidic carbon of another molecule of H2C(PPh2NPh)2. DFT calculations show an energy surface where (Cymene)RuHC(PPh2NPh)2L is more stable with a Ru-CH(PPh2NPh)2 bond and with L = Cl- or MeCN not coordinated to Ru, than to an eta2-HC(PPh2NPh)2 structure with coordinated L; this is tested experimentally. The greater tendency for this ligand to be coordinated eta3 vs analogous diketiminates is discussed. The nucleophilicity of Cgamma in structure 1, vs that of donors L = Cl- or MeCN, is evaluated to understand the preference of the bis(phosphinimino)methanide to be bidentate or tridentate. 相似文献

The dynamics of the (2 x 2)-3CO <--> dilute phase transition involving CO adsorbed on Pt(111) microfacets has been monitored in situ in a CO-saturated acidic electrolyte using potential step-second harmonic generation techniques. Apparent time constants derived strictly from the optical data were found to be orders of magnitude slower for the forward process as compared to those of the reverse process. This behavior is consistent with the activated nature of CO electrooxidation, which requires the presence of a neighboring adsorbed oxygenated species, for example, hydroxyl, for the process to ensue. 相似文献

Stationary phases with specific structural properties for high-throughput liquid chromatographic (LC) techniques are described. Special attention was paid to phases with special structural properties, mainly containing internal functional group (e.g. amide). Such materials are generally called "embedded phases". There are phases created in amidation process of aminopropylated silica gel, especially phases based on biological compounds, like phospholipids and cholesterol, which are called immobilized artificial membranes (IAM's). The synthesis and applications of polar embedded amide LC stationary phases were also reviewed. Methods of characterization of synthesized packing materials were presented, with general focusing on spectroscopic measurements like (13C and 29Si CP/MAS NMR and FT-IR), elemental and thermal analysis as well as chromatographic quantitative structure-retention relationships (QSRR) and extended chemometric tests. Formation of core-shell poly(N-vinylcaprolactam) (PVCL) single-molecule nanostructures due to interaction of PVCL with metal ions was studied using transmission electron microscopy, 13C NMR, and light scattering. This study demonstrates that addition of CoCl2 to PVCL in its globular conformation yields unimolecular core-shell polymer particles with the core decorated with Co(II) ions. The crucial condition for formation of well-defined unimolecular nanostructures is the presence of stable globular aggregates in aqueous solution. Moreover, the metal ions should have a sufficiently high coordination number (higher than 2) to provide a cross-linking and stabilization of the core. 相似文献

The influence of organics on the structure of water adsorbed on activated carbons was studied using adsorption of nitrogen, benzene, and water, and by (1)H NMR spectroscopy with freezing out of bulk water with the presence of benzene-d(6) or chloroform-d. It was found that interactions of water with the activated carbon surface depend on both structural characteristics (contributions of micro- and mesopores, pore size distributions) of adsorbents and chemical properties (changed by oxidation or reduction) of the adsorbents. Moreover, the interfacial behavior of water is affected by water-insoluble organics such as benzene and chloroform. Changes in the Gibbs free energy of water adsorbed on carbons exposed to air, water, chloroform-d, or benzene-d(6) are related to textural properties of adsorbents and the degree of their oxidation. Since chloroform-d and benzene-d(6) are strongly adsorbed on activated carbons and immiscible with water they replace a significant portion of adsorbed water in micropores, on the walls of mesopores, and in the transport pores of carbons causing changes in the Gibbs free energy and other characteristics of water. 相似文献
