In ambient air, arsenic to selenium ratio (As/Se) is generally found to be less than 1, except in areas influenced by specific point sources, such as Cu smelters. However, the annual average of this ratio is found to be much higher than unity in Turkey. This finding is rather unique and may provide a marker for air masses influenced by the coal-related emissions in Turkey. Two new isoflavones 1 and 2 along with eleven known compounds 3-13, have been isolated for the first time from the rhizomes of Iris soforana. The structures of these compounds were determined on the basis of spectroscopic methods and found to be 5,3'-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy-6,7-methylenedioxyisoflavone (1) (Soforanarin A), and 5,7,5'-trimethoxy-6,3',4'-trihydroxyisoflavone (2) (Soforanarin B).  相似文献

Electroinitiated polymerization of N-vinylcarbazole has been accomplished by constant potential electrolysis. It was found that direct electron transfer from the monomer to the anode initiates the polymerization even at a potential as low as +0.95 V versus Ag?/ Ag+. Dichloromethane was used as the solvent, and the electrolyte was tetrabutylammonium fluoroborate. Conversions as high as 86% were reached even when a microelectrode was used. Effects of electrode area, temperature, and electrode potential on polymerization were studied. Percent conversion was followed by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

We retrospectively reviewed MR studies on 10 patients with renal-related perinephric fluid collections who underwent MRI in three institutions between January 2001 and August 2004. All patients underwent MRI of the abdomen and T1-weighted, T2-weighted and serial contrast-enhanced images, including delayed-phase contrast-enhanced images 10-12 min after contrast injection, were obtained. Perinephric fluid collections in 5 patients revealed MRI findings of simple fluid content (i.e., hypointense on T1-weighted images and hyperintense on T2-weighted images). In another 5 patients, a complex perinephric fluid content (i.e., mixed hyper/hypointense on T1-weighted images and mixed hypo/hyperintense on T2-weighted images compatible with blood breakdown products and pus) was observed. In 5 patients, contrast extravasation on late-phase images that was compatible with urine leak was demonstrated. Our results suggest that MRI may determine the content of perinephric fluid collections on noncontrast T1-weighted and T2-weighted images and that contrast extravasation on late-phase images is associated with urine extravasation from renal collecting systems.  相似文献

We prove that arbitrary (nonpolynomial) scalar evolution equations of order    m  ≥ 7  , that are integrable in the sense of admitting the canonical conserved densities   ρ(1), ρ(2)  , and   ρ(3)   introduced in [ 1 ], are polynomial in the derivatives    u m −  i    for  i  = 0, 1, 2. We also introduce a grading in the algebra of polynomials in     u k     with     k  ≥  m  − 2    over the ring of functions in     x ,  t ,  u , … ,  u m −3    and show that integrable equations are scale homogeneous with respect to this grading .  相似文献

This study considers numerical simulation of the combustion of hydrogen with air, including oxygen and nitrogen, in a burner and the numerical solution of local entropy generation rate due to the high temperature and velocity gradients in the combustion chamber. The effects of equivalence ratio (ϕ) and oxygen percentage (γ) on the combustion and entropy generation rate are investigated for different ϕs (from 0.5 to 1.0) and γs (from 10 to 30%). The combustion is simulated for the fuel mass flow rate providing the same heat transfer rate to the combustion chamber in the each case. The numerical calculation of combustion is performed individually for all cases with the help of the Fluent CFD code. Furthermore, a computer program has been developed to calculate numerically the volumetric entropy generation rate distributions and the other thermodynamic parameters by using the results of the calculations performed with the FLUENT code. The calculations bring out that the increase of ϕ (or the decrease of λ) reduces significantly the reaction rate levels. The average temperatures in the combustion chamber increase about 70 and 23% with the increases of γ (from 10 to 30%) and ϕ (from 0.5 to 1.0), respectively. With the increase of γ from 10 to 30%, the volumetric local entropy generation rates decrease about 9 and 4% in the cases of ϕ=0.5 and 1.0, respectively, and while the total entropy generation rates decrease exponentially, the merit numbers increase. The useful energy transfer rate to irreversibility rate therefore improves as the oxygen percentage increases.  相似文献

Papain is a protease enzyme with therapeutic properties that are very valuable for medical applications. Poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) is an ideal polymeric carrier for controlled drug delivery systems due to its low biodegradability and its high biocompatibility. In this study, the three-dimensional structure and action mechanism of papain were investigated by in vitro and in silico experiments using molecular dynamics (MD) and molecular docking methods to elucidate biological functions. The results showed that the size of papain-loaded PCL nanoparticles (NPs) and the polydispersity index (PDI) of the NPs were 242.9 nm and 0.074, respectively. The encapsulation efficiency and loading efficiency were 80.4 and 27.2%, respectively. Human embryonic kidney cells (HEK-293) were used for determining the cytotoxicity of papain-loaded PCL and PCL nanoparticles. The in vitro cell culture showed that nanoparticles are not toxic at low concentrations, while toxicity slightly increases at high concentrations. In silico studies, which were carried out with MD simulations and ADME analysis showed that the strong hydrogen bonds between the ligand and the papain provide stability and indicate the regions in which the interactions occur.  相似文献

Four isoflavone glycosides were isolated from the rhizomes of Iris germanica. Compounds 1 and 2 are new, while compounds 3 and 4 are known isoflavone glycosides. These compounds were identified as iriskashmirianin 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside (1), nigricin 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside (2), irilone 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside (3) and iridin (4). The prediction of intrinsic spin Hall currents by Murakami et al. and Sinova et al. raised many questions about methods of detection and the effect of disorder. We focus on a contact between a Rashba-type spin-orbit coupled region with a normal two-dimensional electron gas and show that the spin Hall currents, though vanishing in the bulk of the sample, can be recovered from the edges. We also show that the current-induced spin accumulation in the spin-orbit coupled system diffuses into the normal region and contributes to the spin current in the leads.  相似文献

A unique in situ multiaxial deformation device has been designed and built specifically for simultaneous synchrotron small angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS) and wide angle X‐ray scattering (WAXS) measurements. SAXS and WAXS patterns of high‐density polyethylene (HDPE) and HDPE/clay nanocomposites were measured in real time during in situ multiaxial deformation at room temperature and at 55 °C. It was observed that the morphological evolution of polyethylene is affected by the existence of clay platelets as well as the deformation temperature and strain rate. Martensitic transformation of orthorhombic into monoclinic crystal phases was observed under strain in HDPE, which is delayed and hindered in the presence of clay nanoplatelets. From the SAXS measurements, it was observed that the thickness of the interlamellar amorphous region increased with increasing strain, which is due to elongation of the amorphous chains.
