The spontaneous magnetoresistance anisotropy has been measured for the ferromagnetic alloys PdNi, PdCo and PdFe. The results confirm the conclusion drawn from other data that in Pd, Ni and Co (but not Fe) possess local orbital moments.  相似文献

In this note we consider a linear parabolic problem defined on a non-cylindrical unbounded domain Q. If Ω t denotes the section of Q above t, the Ω t size goes to +∞, when t → +∞, i.e. the sections Ω t become unbounded in some directions when the time t becomes large. Here a model problem is studied, but the technique used can be applied for a wide class of problems, as nonlinear ones, defined on more general domains Q as those introduced by Lions [11]. An asymptotically exponential convergence of the solutions of such problems towards the solution of an elliptic problem defined on a lower dimensional domain is established.  相似文献

Analyzing the viscoelastic problem for small vibrations of elastic strings, Kirchhoff and Carrier proposed two different models of nonlinear partial differential equations. By combining these two models, we deal here with some nonlocal hyperbolic problems that cover a large class of Kirchhoff and Carrier type problems. The existence of local solutions of degenerate problems as well as local and nonlocal solutions of nondegenerate problems is established. The proofs are based on the combination of the Schauder fixed point theorem with some asymptotic method.  相似文献

Applying an asymptotic method, the existence of the minimal solution to some variational elliptic inequalities defined on bounded or unbounded domains is established. The minimal solution is obtained as limit of solutions to some classical variational inequalities defined on domains becoming unbounded when some parameter tends to infinity. The considered quasilinear operators are only monotone (not strictly) and noncoercive. Some related comparison principles are also investigated.  相似文献

Abstract

We propose a stochastic restoration estimation (SRE) algorithm to estimate the parameters of the length distribution of a boolean segment process. A boolean segment process is a stochastic process obtained by considering the union of independent random segments attached to random points independently scattered on the plane. Each iteration of the SRE algorithm has two steps: first, censored segments are restored; second, based on these restored data, parameter estimations are updated. With a usually straightforward implementation, this algorithm is particularly interesting when censoring effects are difficult to take into account. We illustrate this method in two situations where the parameter of interest is either the mean of the segment length distribution or the variance of its logarithm. Its application to vine shoot length distribution estimation is presented.  相似文献

In this paper we study the translation surfaces in the 3-dimensional Euclidean and Lorentz-Minkowski space under the condition ${\Delta ^{III}r_{i} = \mu _{i}r_{i},\mu _{i} \in \mathbb{R}}$ , where Δ III denotes the Laplacian of the surface with respect to the third fundamental form III. We show that in both spaces a translation surface satisfying the preceding relation is a surface of Scherk.  相似文献

In this note, we deal with semilinear integro-differential equations subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions given on the boundaries of the sections. Even if the differentiation will be taken only in some directions, it is not possible to see the main problem parameterized by the other coordinates because of the non-local terms which also obliged the problem to be degenerate. We establish the existence of solutions by employing the singular perturbations method as a natural tool. The perturbed problems are classical, non-local, semilinear elliptic problems and the limits of the subsequences of their solutions, in weighted Sobolev type spaces, are solutions of the main problem. Some improvement, concerning the existence of the solutions and the convergence results depending on the weights, will be established. The paper also gives an idea about the study of the anisotropic singular perturbations in the framework of weighted spaces.  相似文献

Pd-Co-Hx alloys with x in the 0.75 range present resistivity minima as a function of temperature typical of Kondo behaviour. It is found that the concentration x is a critical factor for these observations and several explanations are proposed.  相似文献
