The solar wind almost disappeared on May 11, 1999: the solar wind plasma density and dynamic pressure were less than 1cm−3 and 0.1 nPa respectively, while the interplanetary magnetic field was northward. The polar ionospheric data observed by the multi-instruments at Zhongshan Station in Antarctica on such special event day was compared with those of the control day (May 14). It was shown that geomagnetic activity was very quiet on May 11 at Zhongshan. The magnetic pulsation, which usually occurred at about magnetic noon, did not appear. The ionosphere was steady and stratified, and the F2 layer spread very little. The critical frequency of day-side F2 layer, f0F2, was larger than that of control day, and the peak of f0F2 appeared 2 hours earlier. The ionospheric drift velocity was less than usual. There were intensive auroral Es appearing at magnetic noon. All this indicates that the polar ionosphere was extremely quiet and geomagnetic field was much more dipolar on May 11. There were some signatures of auroral substorm before midnight, such as the negative deviation of the geomagnetic H component, accompanied with auroral Es and weak Pc3 pulsation.

A facile cross‐linking strategy of using small molecules as physcial crosslinkers to facilitate recyclable polybutadiene (PB) elastomer with excellent toughness and stretchability is demonstrated. Carboxylic acid groups were incorporated along the PB backbone via thiol‐ene reaction, and then the polymer can be cross‐linked by ionic hydrogen bonds between the carboxylic acid groups from PB and the amine groups of the cross‐linkers. The ionic hydrogen bonds can dynamiclly break and reconstruct upon deformation, thus endowing the resultant polymer with not only high toughness and stretchability (~1800%), but also good self‐recovery and enhanced damping properties. Remarkably, the dynamically cross‐linked PB elastomer can be thermally recycled owing to the thermal reversibility of the ionic hydrogen bonds and the mechanical properties can be largely recovered after reprocessing. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 以稻壳基二氧化硅/碳复合材料(SiCB)作为天然橡胶(NR)的补强填料, 采用表面化学改性的方法将天然乳胶(NRL)接枝到SiCB表面, 改善其与NR基体的相容性. 研究了不同处理方法对接枝NRL效率的影响, 以及填料填入NR后对硫化橡胶力学性能的影响. 结果表明, 经过硝酸和γ-(甲基丙烯酰氧)丙基三甲氧基硅烷(γ-MPTMS)预处理, NRL能高效接枝在SiCB表面, 得到的样品SiCBMR10比未处理的SiCBP有更强的补强能力. 硫化胶NR/SiCBMR10的拉伸强度、 300%定伸和撕裂强度较NR/SiCBP分别提高了61.06%, 27.15%和15.90%, 与传统炭黑产品N774填充的硫化胶NR/N774的力学性能相近. 经过NRL接枝改性的SiCBMR10具有替代商业炭黑的应用前景.  相似文献

设计了一种能够将地表自然风转变为电能的压电俘能装置.该装置利用压电陶瓷发电片的压电效应,将振动机械能转变为电能,通过在装置里布置矩形、梯形、三角形等多种渐变形状的发电片,实现了对自然风激励的宽频响应.该装置发电效率高,结构紧凑,易于安装携带,在微电子技术、微机电系统等领域具有广阔的应用前景,该装置的设计研究可以培养学生开展创新实验、进行科学研究的科学素养.  相似文献

Designing gradient structures, mimicking biological materials, such as pummelo peels and tendon, is a promising strategy for developing advanced materials with superior energy damping capacities. Here a facile and effective approach for fabricating polymers with composition gradients at millimeter length scale is presented. The gradient thiol‐ene polymers (TEPs) are created by the use of density difference of ternary thiol‐ene‐ene precursors and the subsequent photo‐crosslinking via thiol‐ene reaction. The compositional gradients are analyzed via differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), compressive modulus testing, atomic force microscopy (AFM) indentation, and swelling measurements. In contrast to homogeneous TEPs networks, the resultant gradient polymer shows a broader effective damping temperature range combining with good mechanical properties. The present result provides an effective route toward high damping materials by the fabrication of gradient structures.

Rice husk ash(RHA), obtained by pyrolysis of rice husks, can be used as a potential reinforcing filler for rubber composites. In this work, ball milling in ethanol(ethanol-assisted milling) was used to hydroxylate the surface of RHA, promoting the graft modification of bis-(γ-triethoxysilylpropyl)-tetrasulfide(Si69). The obtained modified RHA(RHA-EM-Si69) was filled into the natural rubber/butadiene rubber(NR/BR) composites, and the filler-rubber interactions were enhanced. In consequence, RHA-EM-Si69 filled NR/BR composites showed overall improvement in the mechanical properties compared with RHA filled NR/BR composites. The tear strength increased from 13.37 kN/m to 34.71 kN/m, and the tensile strength increased from 1.84 MPa to 7.75 MPa. Carbon black(N774) was also used for comparison under the same conditions. This method provides a potential for promoting the value of RHA in rubber industry.  相似文献

回顾了应用于日地空间磁流体力学模拟的多种数值方法.将通量修正(FCT)法应用于一维球对称超音速太阳风和激波对的模拟,所得结果在物理上与文献相比符合很好.但得到的激波间断面比文献更精确,间断面网格点数在2~3个之间.此方法可推广到在多维情形下进行扰动的数值模拟.  相似文献
