Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for a linear estimator to be admissible among the set of all homogeneous and inhomogeneous, linear estimators under a linear model with the vector of parameters subject to linear restrictions. The reaction of -morpholino-thiocinnamic acid anilides1 with malononitrile yielded 2-arylimino-thiopyrans3, which in turn were converted under alkaline conditions into 6-thioxo-pyridines5. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical properties and spectral data. The mechanism of the conversion3 into5 is discussed.

Zusammenfassung Die Reaktion von -Morpholino-thiozimtsäureaniliden1 mit Malononitril lieferte 2-Arylimino-thiopyrane3, die unter alkalischen Bedingungen zu 6-Thioxo-pyridinen5 umgesetzt wurden. Die Struktur der dabei erhaltenen Verbindungen wurde mittels chemischer und spektroskopischer Eigenschaften zugeordnet. Der Mechanismus der Konversion von3 zu5 wird diskutiert.

The nanoconfinement of electrochemically-active guest species in host solid state electrode materials provides opportunities to tune mass transport between the bulk electrolyte and inner surface of the electrode, enhance electron-transfer rates, and/or improve the stability and dispersion of active material. This review summarizes recent experimental and theoretical electrochemical studies of three types of nanoconfined guest species: (1) ion adsorption of electrolyte ions, (2) confined redox-active molecules, and (3) electrocatalytic reactions of confined ions/solvents and catalytic particles. The examples discussed in this review illustrate how the confinement of guest species within enclosed spaces with nanoscale dimensions – such as pores, pockets, channels, and interlayers – can lead to improved electrochemical performance.  相似文献

A novel tris heteroleptic dipyridophenazine complex of ruthenium(II), [{Ru(phen)(dppz)(bpy'-his)}{Ru(NH3)5}]5+, containing a covalently tethered ruthenium pentammine quencher coordinated through a bridging histidine has been synthesized and characterized spectroscopically and biochemically in a DNA environment and in organic solvent. Steady-state and time-resolved luminescence measurements indicate that the tethered Ru complex is quenched relative to the parent complexes [Ru(phen)(dppz)(bpy')]2+ and [Ru(phen)(dppz)(bpy'-his)]2+ in DNA and acetonitrile, consistent with intramolecular photoinduced electron transfer. Intercalated into guanine-containing DNA, [{Ru(phen)(dppz)(bpy'-his)}{Ru(NH3)5}]5+, upon excitation and intramolecular quenching, is capable of injecting charge into the duplex based upon the EPR detection of guanine radicals. DNA-mediated charge transport is also indicated using a kinetically fast cyclopropylamine-substituted base as an electron hole trap. Guanine damage is not observed, however, in measurements using the guanine radical as the kinetically slower hole trap, indicating that back electron-transfer reactions are competitive with guanine oxidation. Moreover, transient absorption measurements reveal a novel photophysical reaction pathway for [{Ru(phen)(dppz)(bpy'-his)}{Ru(NH3)5}]5+ in the presence of DNA that is competitive with the intramolecular flash-quench process. These results illustrate the remarkably rich redox chemistry that can occur within a bimolecular ruthenium complex intercalated in duplex DNA.  相似文献

The method of manufacturing and spectroscopic evaluation of the Er3+ ions doped and Er3+–Yb3+co-doped SiO2–Al2O3–Na2CO3–CaO–PbO–PbF2 oxyfluoride glass fibers is presented in the paper. Both optically active elements erbium and ytterbium were introduced into the batch in the form of fluorides. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique was applied at each stage of fibers manufacturing in order to control an amorphous structure of the preforms and fibers. Optical studies of glass preforms and fibers (reflection/transmission, absorption, emission, and excited state absorption (ESA)) were directed to examine their suitability as fiber amplifiers at 1.55 μm band.  相似文献
