By using the general expressions of energy momentum pseudo-tensor of the cylin-drical gravitational waves (GW) given by Rosen and Virbhadra in Cartesian coor-dinates, the concrete forms of energy density and radiative energy flux of the pulse cylindrical GW are obtained. Their physical properties, suitable range and asymp-totic behaviour are considered. It is found that: For the region in which space radial coordinates to origin are greater than the pulse width of the pulse cylindrical GW, the energy density and radiative energy flux of the outward travelling pulse cylindrical GW propagating along at light-cone are positive definite. However, for the region in which the space radial coordinates are less than the pulse width, there is no guarantee for the positive definite property of the radiative energy flux of the outward travelling wave. Moreover, we show that the asymptotic behaviour of the energy and energy flux densities of the pulse cylindrical GW and that of the Riemann curvature tensor have good self-consistancy in space like, time like and null infinity regions. 相似文献

A phenomenological study on the fitting method in real time has been done, and the method was applied to process and analyze the extensive data of a long period torsion pendulum used to determine Newtonian gravitational constant G. The result shows that the fitting method in real time is effective to determine the period of a torsion pendulum with a relative precision of 10-5 orders. 相似文献

We have investigated the interaction of an electromagnetic (EM) wave with a standing gravitational wave (GW) in an external static magnetic field,and obtained concrete forms of first-order perturbative EM energy fluxes.Unlike the propagating properties of the “left-circular” and “right-circular” waves of the tangential perturbative energy fluxes around the symmetrical axis,the radial perturbative energy fluxes are expressed as the outgoing and imploding waves to the symmetrical axis.We also examine several physical examples and show that this effect can produce very small but nonvanishing radial perturbative photon fluxes.This may be useful for EM detection of the high-frequency relic GWs of the GHz region in quintessential inflationary models. 相似文献

Starting with the diagonal spacetime metric tensor, the Einstein gravitational field equation is solved, and a set of exact (3+1) dimensional cylindrically symmetric wave solutions with two arbitrary functions are found. In these solutions all nonvanishing components of spacetime metric tensor are varying with the same propagating factor (ct-z) while the waves are travelling along z axis. 给出了在一静态磁场中强电磁波束对一引力驻波谐振响应的具体形式,并得到了相应的扰动解和谐振条件.我们发现,扰动电磁场将包含3种新的频率成分:|ωg±ωe|和ωg.在ωe>>ωg±的情况下,扰动电磁场表现为频率为ωe±的电磁波束和频率为ωg±的电磁驻波,前者和背景电磁波束具有相同的传播方向;而在ωg±>>ωe±的情况下,所有的扰动电磁场均表现为频率为ωg±的电磁驻波.谐振响应只发生在ωe±=ωg±和ωg±=ωg±两种情况下,这时不仅可以产生与背景电磁波束同向和反向传播的一阶扰动电磁能流,而且还可以产生传播方向垂直于背景电磁波束的径向和切向一阶扰动电磁能流.这一效应可望为引力波的电磁探测提供一种新的途径.此外,还讨论了在单光子雪崩效应层次上并在典型实验室尺度范围内,显示由h=10 -33~10-35 , λg=0.1m的引力驻波产生的扰动电磁效应的可能方案. 相似文献

A new ultra-low frequency passive vertical vibration isolation system is constructed by connecting the torsion spring isolator with a reverse pendulum.The theoretical analysis shows that the new system can achieve a much longer resonant period and have a smaller size than the current torsion spring isolators with the same geometric parameters. 相似文献
