The structural stability and energetics of carbon, silicon, and germanium microclusters containing 3?7 atoms have been investigated by using a recently developed empirical many-body potential energy function (PEF), which comprises two- and three-body atomic interactions. The PEF satisfies both bulk cohesive energy per atom and bulk stability exactly. It has been found that the most stable C3?4 microclusters are linear withD h symmetry but C5?7 microclusters are planar withD nh symmetry. Silicon and germanium microclusters show similar structural stability. TheX n (X=Si, Ge;n=3?7) microclusters are found to be most stable in the following forms:X 3 is triangular withD 3h symmetry,X 4 is tetragonal withT d symmetry,X 5 is square pyramidal withD 4h symmetry,X 6 is bipyramidal square withO h symmetry, and finallyX 7 is square pyramidal having two atoms underneath withD 2h symmetry.  相似文献

Instrumental neutron activation analysis was applied to the determination of trace elements in a Na-bentonitic clay. The irradiation was done in the Triga Mark II type reactor of ITU Nuclear Energy Institute. The sample was irradiated in two steps for short- and long- lived isotopes. After irradiation, spectra were taken using a germanium detector, multichannel analyzer Canberra System 100 and a fitting program called Sampo 90. The spectra of short-lived isotopes were analyzed to determine Al, Mg, Na, K, Ca, Ti elements and Mn, V trace elements. The spectra of long-lived isotopes were analyzed to determine Sc, Br, Sb, Cs, La, Ce, Sm, Yb, Hf, Pa, Np trace elements.  相似文献

A kinetic study of the crystallization processes was performed for some decorative ceramic glazes in the PbO-SiO2-Na2O-K2O-CaO(BaO)-Al2O3-B2O3 system with addition of 10% TiO2 and ZnO. The crystallization kinetics has been studied in non-isothermal conditions using DTA technique. The apparent activation energies of the crystallization processes were calculated using the Kissinger method. The main crystalline phase, which provides the decorative effect, is rutile. This has been identified by X-ray diffraction and it is clearly visible in the optical microscopy images taken in transmitted light, as needle-like or even prismatic crystals arranged in radial-fibrous aggregates.  相似文献

The influence of polyelectrolytes with different architecture on spontaneous batch crystallization of calcium oxalate was investigated. A series of acidic acrylate block copolymers were been made, by radical polymerization, with defined molecular weight and structure. Radical polymerization of acrylic acid (AA) was carried out in the presence of α‐thiopolyethylene glycol monomethylether as a chain transfer agent to produce poly(ethylene glycolblockacrylic acid) copolymers. Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) block length in the copolymers was controlled by using three different molecular weight chain transfer agents (Mn = 350, 750 and 2000 g/mol). The presence of copolymers inhibited the crystal growth of calcium oxalate possibly through adsorption onto the active growth sites for crystal growth due to the charge and hydrophilic effects. This work uses a simple “grafting through” approach in the preparation of anhydrous poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF)‐g‐PVTri polymer electrolyte membranes (PEMs). Alkaline‐treated PVDF was used as a macromolecule in conjunction with vinyltriazole in the graft copolymerization. The obtained polymer was subsequently doped with triflic acid (TA) at different stoichiometric ratios with respect to triazole units and the anhydrous PEMs (PVDF‐g‐PVTri‐(TA)x) were prepared. All samples were characterized by FTIR and 1H NMR. The composition of PVDF‐g‐PVTri was determined by energy dispersive spectroscopy. Thermal properties of the membranes were examined by thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. The surface roughness and morphology of the membranes were studied using atomic force microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy. PVDF‐g‐PVTri‐(TA)3 (C3‐TA3) with a degree of grafting of 47.22% showed a maximum proton conductivity of 0.09 S cm?1 at 150 °C and anhydrous conditions. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Mono(thio)substituted dienes 1a-1b gave compounds 3a-c and 5d-g with piperazine and piperidine derivatives in dichloromethane. Compounds 8 , 9 , and 10 were obtained from the reactions of perchlorobutadiene ( 6 ) with 1,4-butanedithiol ( 7 ) in ethanol in the presence of sodium hydroxide. Compounds 12a-b , 13a-b were obtained from the reactions of perchlorobutadiene ( 6 ) with allylmercaptan (CH 2 =CH--CH 2 --SH) and mercaptoethanol (HO--CH 2 --CH 2 --SH).  相似文献

Abstract

A series of novel β-mercapto carbonyl compounds (3a–z), methyl 2-(3-oxo-1,3-diarylpropylthio)acetate, were synthesized and characterized via iodine-catalyzed addition of methyl thioglycolate to chalcones (1a–z).

This paper describes a novel approach to detect Cd(II) using the combination of the differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry and magnetic nanoparticle based dispersive solid phase microextraction as an efficient, green and accurate method. Currents of Cd(II) increased linearly in the range from 75 to 2000 ng L−1 Cd(II) with a detection limit of 21.6 ng L−1. The RSD values of 2.6 and 6.0 % for 1.00 and 0.10 μg L−1 respectively showed that proposed method has an acceptable repeatability. Recovery values between 92.3 and 98.6 % showed that this approach can be successfully used for determination of Cd(II) in water samples.  相似文献
