Using a high resolution Raman spectrometer, we have measured Ar-broadening coefficients in the ν2Q branch of C2H2 for 22 lines at 295 K, 20 lines at 174 K, and 16 lines at 134 K. These lines with J values ranging from 1 to 23 are located in the spectral range 1970.9-1974.3 cm−1. The collisional widths are obtained by fitting each spectral line with a Rautian profile. The resulting broadening coefficients are compared with theoretical values arising from close coupling and coupled states calculations. A satisfactory agreement is obtained at room as well as at low temperatures, especially for odd J lines. By comparing broadening coefficients at 295, 174, and 134 K from a simple power law, the temperature dependence of these broadenings has been determined both experimentally, and theoretically.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reaction between atactic polypropylene (APP) and oxygen in bulk at temperatures ranging from 170 to 210°C and oxygen partial pressures from 160 to 760 torr have been studied by thermal differential analysis. The reaction takes place in two successive steps, both giving hydroperoxide groups as product. Partial reaction orders with respect to APP and oxygen for the first step, which corresponds to the uncatalyzed attack of a C? H tertiary bond to give a hydroperoxide, are one and two, respectively. In the second step, interpreted as another attack on a tertiary C? H by oxygen, catalyzed by a neighboring hydroperoxide group, reaction orders are one and one-half for APP and oxygen, respectively. Activation parameters have been determined and a reaction sequence is proposed. Hydroperoxidated APP subsequently decomposes via a zero-order process giving methylketone groups as its main product. An interpretation of this process is also given.  相似文献

In this work the heat generation in proton-implanted planar Nd:YAG waveguides with and without laser action is determined by using photoacoustic techniques. From the analysis of the photoacoustic signal in the two emission regimes (stimulated and spontaneous) as a function of the absorbed power, it was found that the heat generated is substantially reduced during laser action. The quotient of the heat generated in both emission channels (stimulated and spontaneous) was found to be Sstimulated/Sspontaneous=0.65±0.03. This value is in agreement with the theoretical estimation considering a Nd3+ quantum efficiency waveguide=0.78, extracted from the lifetime measured in the waveguide, slightly lower than the value in the bulk. This work demonstrates that photoacoustic measurements provide a sensitive method to characterize the performance of waveguide lasers. PACS 42.79.Gn; 42.82.Et; 42.60.Lh; 43.60.+d  相似文献

The concept of individuality in quantum mechanics shows radical differences from the concept of individuality in classical physics, as E. Schr?dinger pointed out in the early steps of the theory. Regarding this fact, some authors suggested that quantum mechanics does not possess its own language, and therefore, quantum indistinguishability is not incorporated in the theory from the beginning. Nevertheless, it is possible to represent the idea of quantum indistinguishability with a first-order language using quasiset theory (Q). In this work, we show that Q cannot capture one of the most important features of quantum non-individuality, which is the fact that there are quantum systems for which particle number is not well defined. An axiomatic variant of Q, in which quasicardinal is not a primitive concept (for a kind of quasisets called finite quasisets), is also given. This result encourages the searching of theories in which the quasicardinal, being a secondary concept, stands undefined for some quasisets, besides showing explicitly that in a set theory about collections of truly indistinguishable entities, the quasicardinal needs not necessarily be a primitive concept. The photooxidation of oxalate ions in aqueous dispersions of ZnO under UV-illumination has been investigated in order to determine the efficiency of oxalate ions as hole scavangers. The process has been studied by measuring the quantity of oxalate ions photooxidized at different experimental conditions. It is observed that the number of moles of oxalate photodecomposed increases with irradiation time and with the mass of semiconductor in suspension, attaining in this case a limiting value. Also, the amount of oxalate ions photooxidized increases with both initial oxalate concentration and light intensity. These results are discussed in terms of the different redox processes that take place at the semiconductor particle-electrolyte interface.  相似文献
