Zusammenfassung Die aus PbS-Ag2S bestehende spezifische Bleiionen-Elektrode wird üblicherweise mit einem Oberflächenverhältnis der Außenfläche (A o) und der Innenfläche (A i) mitA o=A i verwendet. Durch teilweise Abdeckung einer Oberfläche mit isolierendem Material, ohne daß die andere Oberfläche verändert wird, ergaben sich verschiedene Verhältnisse der mit der Bleilösung in Berührung stehenden Oberflächen. Mit dem VerhältnisA o/A i stieg das Potential linear an bzw. es fiel mit diesem Verhältnis ab. Das Potential der spezifischen Bleielektrode stieg mit der Dicke der Membran, stabilisierte sich aber wesentlich langsamer.相似文献

Summary The amount of adsorption and exchange of lead on the electrode membrane as a function of time was correlated to the potential measurement stability. The adsorption and exchange of lead in various organic solvents tend to be increased relating to the increase in the dielectric constant of solvents. Removal of O2 and CO2 and addition of methanol and formaldehyde are very effective means to improve the potential stability. The behavior of lead ISE exposed to solutions containing lead and other interfering ions was also studied.

Zusammenfassung Adsorption und Austausch von Blei an der Elektrodenmembran als Funktion der Zeit wurden zur Stabilität der Potentialmessung in Beziehung gesetzt. In verschiedenen organischen Lösungsmitteln steigen Adsorption und Austausch mit der Dielektrizitätskonstante an. Die Entfernung von O2 und CO2 sowie der Zusatz von Methanol und Formaldehyd verbessern die Stabilität des Potentials. Das Verhalten von bleiionenspezifischen Elektroden gegenüber Lösungen, die Blei und andere störende Ionen enthalten, wurde untersucht.相似文献

The effect of iron acetylacetonate on the physico-chemical properties of waterglass based silica aerogels by ambient pressure
drying has been investigated. Doping the gels with iron acetylacetonat (FeAA) facilitates in the diminution of the density
of the aerogels. The well established silica network provides effective confinement of FeAA nanoparticles which resists the
collapse of silica network during ambient pressure drying. Therefore, in the present paper, the effects of FeAA on the physico-chemical
properties of the aerogels have been studied by varying the FeAA:Na2SiO3 molar ratio from 3 × 10−4 to 6 × 10−4. The aerogels were prepared via ambient pressure drying and characterized by the bulk density, thermal conductivity and water
contact angle. The aerogel’s surface morphology, elemental analysis and pore structure were characterized by means of EDAX
and FTIR, TEM and N2 adsorption- desorption analyzer. The high temperature hydrophobicity of these aerogels was checked by heating them in temperature
controlled furnace. Silica aerogels with low density ~0.050 g/cc have been obtained using the molar ratio of Na2SiO3:H2O:FeAA:Citric acid:TMCS at 1:146.67:3 × 10−4:0.54:9.46, respectively. EDAX and FTIR studies show that the iron species are entrapped in the mesoporous framework and not

Non-wettable surfaces with high contact angles and facile sliding angle of water droplets have received tremendous attention in recent years. The present paper describes the room temperature (∼27 °C) synthesis of dip coated water repellent silica coatings on glass substrates using iso-butyltrimethoxysilane (iso-BTMS) as a co-precursor. Emphasis is given to the influence of the hydrophobic reagent (iso-BTMS) on the water repellent properties of the silica films. Silica sol was prepared by keeping the molar ratio of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) precursor, methanol (MeOH) solvent, water (H2O) constant at 1:16.53:8.26 respectively, with 0.01 M NH4F throughout the experiment and the molar ratio of iso-BTMS/TEOS (M) was varied from 0 to 0.965. The effect of M on the surface structure and hydrophobicity has been researched. The static water contact angle values of the silica films increased from 65° to 140° and water sliding angle values decreased from 42° to 16° with an increase in the M value from 0 to 0.965. The water repellent silica films are thermally stable up to a temperature of 280 °C and above this temperature the film shows hydrophilic behavior. The water repellent silica films were characterized by the Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), % of optical transmission, thermal and chemical aging tests, humidity tests, static and dynamic water contact angle measurements. 相似文献

Water is one of the most affecting chemicals that can cause damage to the solid surface. To protect the surface due to the action of water, the surface should be made hydrophobic. In the present study, the improvement in hydrophobicity of silica films using metal acetylacetonate (M-acac) by employing heat treatment to methyltrimethoxy silane (MTMS) based silica coatings is reported as a novel attempt. Instead of following the established trends of the surface derivatization or co-precursor method, iron acetylacetonate Fe(acac)3, copper acetylacetonate Cu(acac)2 and heat treatment were used to incorporate hydrophobicity with silica coatings. As M-acac is readily soluble in organic solvents, Fe(acac)3 and Cu(acac)2 were dissolved in methanol (MeOH) and their concentration was varied from 0 to 0.025 M. The coating solution was prepared by optimizing molar ratio of MTMS:MeOH:basic H2O to 1:7.15:6.34, respectively. Gelation time (tg) for Cu(acac)2 containing silica sol and that containing Fe(acac)3 were noted to be 30 and 55 min, respectively. The substrates were taken out after gelation and heat treated at 150 °C for 2 h. The heat treated films showed a dramatic increase in the static water contact angle from 82° to as high as 142°. 相似文献

Depending upon the method of synthesis and the nature of substrate surface, there is variation in the physico-chemical properties of the material. Cuprous iodide films are deposited at room temperature on the glass and copper substrates by a simple SILAR method and the obtained results are compared. The p-type material with optical band gap 2.88 eV is found to be possessing face-centered cubic crystal structure with lattice parameter 6.134 Å. We observed irregular particles for the CuI film on the glass substrate while patterned arrays of micro-rods with cabbage like tips on copper substrate, for the same preparative conditions. Also, the material deposited on copper is showing superhydrophobic nature (contact angle ∼156°) while that on glass it is hydrophilic (contact angle ∼88°). We have characterized the thin films by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, surface roughness and contact angle measurement, thermoelectric power measurement and optical studies. This hydrophobic, p-type material with wide band gap will be helpful in the development of optoelectronic devices. 相似文献
