Effective elastic properties of a defected solid with distributed cohesive micro-cracks are estimated based on homogenization of the Dugdale–Bilby–Cottrell–Swinden (Dugdale–BCS) type micro-cracks in a two dimensional elastic representative volume element (RVE).Since the cohesive micro-crack model mimics various realistic bond forces at micro-scale, a statistical average of cohesive defects can effectively represent the overall properties of the material due to bond breaking or crack surface separation in small scale. The newly proposed model is distinctive in the fact that the resulting effective moduli are found to be pressure sensitive.  相似文献

The dual conservation laws of elasticity are systematically re-examined by using both Noether's variational approach and Coleman–Noll–Gurtin's thermodynamics approach. These dual conservation laws can be interpreted as the dual configurational force, and therefore they provide the dual energy–momentum tensor. Some previously unknown and yet interesting results in elasticity theory have been discovered. In this work, we study invariant properties of defect potentials that are capable of describing defect motions in a continuum. By formulating two canonical defect theories, a generalized Nye theory and the Kröner–de Wit theory, we have found three defect potentials that are variational, i.e. their associated Euler–Lagrange equations are differential compatibility conditions of the continuum and defects. Consequently, symmetry properties of these variational functionals render several classes of new conservation laws and invariant integrals that are related with continuum compatibility conditions, which are independent of the constitutive relations of the continuum. The contour integral of the corresponding conserved quantity is path-independent, if the domain encompassed by such an integral is specifically defect-free. The invariant integral is applied to study macroscopically brittle fracture, and a multiscale Griffith criterion is proposed, which leads to a rigorous justification of the well-known Griffith–Irwin theory.  相似文献

Dual conservation laws of linear planar elasticity theory have been systematically studied based on stress function formalism. By employing generalized symmetry transformation or the Lie—Bäcklund transformation, a class of new dual conservation laws in planar elasticity have been discovered based on the Noether theorem and its Bessel—Hagen generalization. 建立了食品中亚硫酸盐的离子色谱检测方法. 样品采用40 mmol/L NaOH溶液提取, 甲醛作稳定剂, 经ENVI-Carb活性碳小柱除去提取液中的色素, 石油醚除去提取液中的油脂, 用配有电导检测器的离子色谱仪测定. 以AS9-HC为色谱柱, 流动相为8 mmol/L Na2CO3-2.5 mmol/L NaOH, 亚硫酸盐的残留量在0~6.0 mg/L的范围内线性关系良好, 相关系数为0.9989, 相对标准偏差为1.3%~9.1%, 回收率在88.4%~98.1%之间.  相似文献

A piecewise algebraic curve is a curve determined by the zero set of a bivariate spline function. In this paper, we propose the Cayley-Bacharach theorem for continuous piecewise algebraic curves over cross-cut triangulations. We show that, if two continuous piecewise algebraic curves of degrees m and n respectively meet at mnT distinct points over a cross-cut triangulation, where T denotes the number of cells of the triangulation, then any continuous piecewise algebraic curve of degree m + n − 2 containing all but one point of them also contains the last point.  相似文献

A computational multiscale method is proposed to simulate coupled, nonequilibrium thermomechanical processes. This multiscale framework couples together thermomechanical equations at the coarse scale with nonequilibrium molecular dynamics at the fine scale. The novel concept of distributed coarse scale thermostats enables subsets of fine scale atoms to be attached to different coarse scale nodes which act as thermostats. The fine scale dynamics is driven by the coarse scale mean field. A coarse-grained Helmholtz free energy is used to derive macroscopic quantities. This new framework can reproduce the correct thermodynamics at the fine scale while providing an accurate coarse-grained result at the coarse scale.  相似文献
