A nonlinear (in the cubic approximation) relaxation equation of state is derived for a rod containing cracks partially filled with an incompressible viscous liquid. The nonlinear effects of the self-action and interaction of low-and high-frequency longitudinal elastic waves propagating in such a rod are studied for the cases of identical and size-varied cracks. This paper deals with a singular perturbation of the stationary Stokes and Navier-Stokes systems. The term ε2Δp is added to the continuity equation, where ε is a small parameter. For a domain with cylindrical outlets to infinity and exponentially decaying data, existence and uniqueness of solutions under flux conditions at infinity are established for the linear problem and also for the nonlinear problem in the case of small data. Samples of yttrium oxide doped with trivalent europium have been prepared by ceramic techniques, under different synthesis conditions; barium chloride (BaCl2) and sodium tetraborate (Na2B4O7) were tested as flux. To excite seismic waves with a high coherence, powerful hydroacoustic radiators placed in a natural reservoir were used. Theoretical estimates and the test data demonstrate a high efficiency of the proposed method of seismic wave excitation. The calculations are in good agreement with the results of measurements. The results of phasing the radiation with the use of two monopole sources separated by a quarter-wave distance are presented. It is shown that the use of the proposed scheme of excitation makes it possible to control the radiation pattern while obtaining a high coherence of seismic waves. 相似文献

Nonlinear processes caused by the propagation of low-frequency and high-frequency acoustic pulses in an unbounded medium and the propagation of continuous waves in a ring resonator are theoretically studied on the basis of two hysteretic equations of state for media with imperfect elasticity. The profiles and parameters of pulses, the resonance curve and the Q factor of the resonator, and the ratio of the nonlinear resonance frequency shift to the nonlinear damping decrement are determined. For nonlinear wave processes in such media, the distinctive features that allow one to choose an appropriate hysteretic equation of state for analytically describing the experimental data are revealed. 相似文献
