Highly transparent ceramics for the spectral range from 1.0 to 60.0μm based on solid solutions of the system AgBr-AgI-TlI-TlBr

The article is devoted to the technology for obtaining optical ceramics of Ag Br-Tl I and Ag Br-Tl Br_0.46I_0.54 systems and manufacturing samples with different compositions.The new heterophase crystal ceramics are transparent without absorption windows in the spectral range from 1.0 to 60.0μm.In the ceramics’transparency spectra based on the Ag Br-Tl I and Ag Br-Tl Br_0.46I_0.54 systems fusibility diagrams,with an increase in the thallium halides mass fraction,as well as the replacement of the bromine ion with iodine,the maximum transparency shifts to a long infrared region.     

A Remark on a Paper of Banerjee, Lardy and Lutoborski

The paper that may be worthy of remark is entitled "Asymptotic Expansions of Integrals of Certain Rapidly Oscillating Functions" and appeared in Mathema tics of Computation, Vol. 49, No. 179(1987), 243—249.What we would like to mention is that the main result of the paper, namely an asymptotic expansion formula with a remainder estimate (cf.§3), is actually a special consequence     

非傍轴平顶高斯光束M2因子两种定义的比较研究

基于功率密度的二阶矩方法,推导出了非傍轴平顶高斯(FG)光束束宽和远场发散角的解析表达式·研究表明,当w0/λ→0时,远场发散角趋于渐近值θmax=63.435°,与阶数无关·使用非傍轴高斯光束代替傍轴高斯光束作为理想光束,研究了非傍轴FG光束的M2因子,并与传统定义的M2因子作了比较·在非傍轴范畴,非傍轴FG光束的M2因子不仅与阶数N有关,而且与w0/λ有关·按照定义,当w0/λ→0时,非傍轴FG光束的M2因子不等于0,对阶数N=1,2,3时,M2因子分别趋于0.913,0.882和0.886·当N→∞时,M2因子取最小值M2min=0.816·     

Dickson Polynomials Over Finite Fields

In this paper we will study Dickson polynomials of the first and second kinds over finite fields. For these polynomials we will discuss some known properties, point out some similarities and differences between the two kinds, and most importantly, indicate a number of open problems concerning these polynomials.     

PREPARATION AND CATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF BIOACTIVE FIBERS

Two kinds of water-soluble metallophthalocyanines, binuclear cobalt phthalocyanine （Co2Pc2） and binuclear ferric phthalocyanine （Fe2Pc2）, were synthesized through phenylanhydride-urea route and characterized by elemental analysis and FT-IR spectra. Binuclear metallophthalocyanine derivatives （Mt2Pc2） were immobilized on silk fibers and modified viscose fibers to construct bioactive fibers of mimic enzyme. Mt2Pc2 was used as the active center of bioactive fibers, viscose and silk fibers as the microenvironments. The catalytic oxidation ability of bioactive fibers on the malodors of methanthiol and hydrogen sulfide was investigated at room temperature. The experimental results indicated that the catalytic activity of such bioactive fibers was closely correlative to the types ofbioactive fibers and substrates.

Hilbert Space of Probability Density Functions Based on Aitchison Geometry

The set of probability functions is a convex subset of L1 and it does not have a linear space structure when using ordinary sum and multiplication by real constants. Moreover, difficulties arise when dealing with distances between densities. The crucial point is that usual distances are not invariant under relevant transformations of densities. To overcome these limitations, Aitchison＇s ideas on compositional data analysis are used, generalizing perturbation and power transformation, as well as the Aitchison inner product, to operations on probability density functions with support on a finite interval. With these operations at hand, it is shown that the set of bounded probability density functions on finite intervals is a pre-Hilbert space. A Hilbert space of densities, whose logarithm is square-integrable, is obtained as the natural completion of the pre-Hilbert space.

火花熔蚀-电感耦合等离子体光谱法(SA-ICP)用于测量锆石中铪-锆比值和锰铁矿瘤中的铈、钴、铁、铅、镍和磷。用信背比和信嗓比的序贯单纯形优化法建立了用于高压火花和氩气ICP系统的六个操作参数。将磨细的样品与铜压成饼,从样品中熔蚀出的分析物和基体元素的原于发射信号的时间相关性给出一种用火花来作选择取样的方法。测量锆石中的铪、锆浓度比的精密度为4%(相对标准偏差)。对于锰铁矿瘤,根据分析线对锰(Ⅱ)257.610纳米线强度比的光谱测量结果达到分析精密度范围为7-14%(相对标准偏差)。分析的准确度用参比物USGS诺得(Nod)P-1的标准物加入法来决定,而与锰浓度的测量无关。     

All solid-state sum-frequency generation of 1.12-W continuous-wave laser at 588 nm

A new resonator design for doubly resonant continuous-wave (CW) intracavity sum-frequency mixing (SFM) is reported. 1.12 W of coherent radiation at 588 nm is generated by mixing 1062-nm Nd:GdVO4laser and 1319-nm Nd:YAG laser. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is up to 3.7%.     

Frozen Landweber Iteration for Nonlinear Ill-Posed Problems

In this paper we propose a modification of the Landweber iteration termed frozen Landweberiteration for nonlinear ill-posed problems.A convergence analysis for this iteration is presented.The numericalperformance of this frozen Landweber iteration for a nonlinear Hammerstein integral equation is compared withthat of the Landweber iteration.We obtain a shorter running time of the frozen Landweber iteration based onthe same convergence accuracy.
