The effect of thermo-hygro-mechanical (THM) densification temperature on the surface color, roughness, wettability, and chemical composition of trembling aspen (Populus tremuloides) and hybrid poplar (Populus maximowiczii × P. balsamifera) veneers was investigated. Veneers were subjected to four THM densification temperatures (160 °C, 180 °C, 200 °C, and 220 °C). Veneer color darkened with increasing THM densification temperature. Surface roughness decreased between 160 °C and 200 °C. Wettability decreased after THM densification, but no significant difference was found between treated specimens. ATR-FTIR and XPS results confirmed that THM densification caused major chemical changes in veneer surfaces, and more pronounced at temperatures higher than 160 °C.  相似文献

The time dependence of the exchange anisotropy was studied in Co/NiO bilayers. In order to only observe the relaxation phenomena inside the antiferromagnetic (AF) layer and to eliminate the dynamic behaviour inside the ferromagnetic (F) layer, we have developed an experimental method where a small a.c. magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the main anisotropy axis. All data are obtained by magneto-optical (m.o.) experiments. We observe a logarithmic time dependence of Hud, the exchange unidirectional anisotropy. We prove that the key parameter for the rate of relaxation is the anisotropy of the AF layer which depends strongly of the preparation method. We use the random field model as proposed by Malozemoff and suppose a breakdown of the AF interface into regular domains of size close to the crystallite size (10 nm width). If we further develop a Fulcomer and Charap relaxation model, we can propose from the distribution of relaxation times an analysis in terms of a spread of AF anisotropy energies. High magnetic pulsed field experiments (55 T) complete the experimental study and the results are analysed assuming that the Zeeman energy balances the anisotropy energy of the AF domains and switches them into the opposite direction.  相似文献

We have fabricated and characterized diamond based heterojunctions composed of homoepitaxial diamond (B-doped film: p type) and hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H film: n-type). All devices include an intrinsic amorphous silicon interface (i-a-Si:H). (J–V) characteristics of a-Si:H heterojunctions measured from 300 K to 460 K present a very high rectification ratio (in the range 108–109) and a current density of 10 mA/cm² under 2 V of forward bias. The reverse current up to ? 4 V is below the detection limit in the whole temperature range. The devices present two regimes of operation indicating that more than one mechanism governs the carrier transport. These characteristics are compared with a Schottky barrier diode (SBD) using a tungsten carbide metal on top of the p-type diamond as a Schottky contact. The SBD device exhibits J–V characteristic with an ideality factor n close to one and the heterojunction follows this trend for low bias voltages whereas for bias voltage above 1 V a second regime with larger ideality factors n ~ 3.6 is observed. These results point out the prominent role of transport mechanisms at heterointerface between the a-Si:H layers and the p-type doped diamond which degrades the current injection. The breakdown voltage reached ? 160 V indicating the good quality of the deposited layers.  相似文献
