Five-step total syntheses of angelicoin A and B from 2,2,6-trimethyl-4-dioxinone are reported using late stage biomimetic aromatization reactions via diketo-dioxinones as intermediates. In addition, with angelicoin A, this aromatization was coupled with a palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative prenylation in a one-pot sequence as the key step.  相似文献

The advantages and disadvantages of various methods of parametric sensitivity analysis in chemical kinetic modeling are discussed. Particular attention is given to estimates of computational labor for realistic problems, and quantitative comparisons are made utilizing a 52-reaction, 11-species CO oxidation mechanism. The authors′ CHEMSEN/AIM program compares favorably to other techniques in many circumstances, and provides the additional convenience of accepting input information in familiar chemical notation. This paper also reviews recent developments in theory of sensitivity analysis, relevant to chemical kinetic modeling.  相似文献

Methods of sensitivity analysis are extended to find the parametric dependencies of systems of ordinary differential equations which exhibit limit cycle oscillations. The quantitative relations between the system parameters and the observable period, amplitude, phase and cycle shape are developed. These formulae, presented for both the first and second order, are applicable to systems of arbitrary size and complexity. The techniques are used here to develop correlations for period and amplitude in a non-isothermal oscillating stirred-tank chemical reactor, and to find and optimize a beneficial periodic operating strategy for a lumped-parameter catalytic reacting system.  相似文献

This work was aimed at identifying nucleotide polymorphic sites in a 359 bp region of the cytochrome b (cytb) mitochondrial gene of Iberian cattle (Bos taurus). This region is widely used as target in polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) species identification studies in foodstuffs destined for human and animal consumption. Two different coexisting restriction patterns were observed in four of the six animals studied when the 359 bp DNA fragment was cleaved with PalI, HinfI, MvaI, RsaI, or MboI. The amplification of both genotypes with the mitochondrial-specific primers L14735 and H15149 revealed the absence of nuclear pseudo-cytb genes, confirming the existence of mitochondrial heteroplasmy. The two coexisting mtDNA fragments were selectively sequenced in PCR extracts in which one genotype predominated over the other, both exhibiting a sequence variation of 10.4%. From the 37 nucleotide mismatches observed between genotypes, 32 were transitions and five were transversions. While 31 of the nucleotide mismatches between genotypes resulted to be conservative at the amino acid level, six changes implied amino acid substitutions, five of them being located in the variable transmembrane region. Genetic analysis suggests the presence of an Asian background in the mitochondria of Iberian cattle: while one of the genotypes matched the published sequence for Bos taurus, the other genotype clustered with a B. primigenius indicus animal and close to an Asian Bos taurus animal. These results also suggest that a number of current PCR-RFLP species identification methods based on cytb sequences may not be reliable for the accurate detection and identification of bovine material: an alternative battery of enzymes consisting of MmeI, NlaIV, and AluI is proposed.  相似文献

The paper introduces a high-order, adaptive finite-element method for simulation of sonic measurements acquired with borehole-eccentered logging instruments. The resulting frequency-domain based algorithm combines a Fourier series expansion in one spatial dimension with a two-dimensional high-order adaptive finite-element method (FEM), and incorporates a perfectly matched layer (PML) for truncation of the computational domain. The simulation method was verified for various model problems, including a comparison to a semi-analytical solution developed specifically for this purpose. Numerical results indicate that for a wireline sonic tool operating in a fast formation, the main propagation modes are insensitive to the distance from the center of the tool to the center of the borehole (eccentricity distance). However, new flexural modes arise with an increase in eccentricity distance. In soft formations, we identify a new dipole tool mode which arises as a result of tool eccentricity.  相似文献
