It is shown experimentally that, when the residence time of the lasing mixture in a laser unit increases from 60 to 120 min, the lasing threshold grows and the energy parameters of the laser degrade. The latter effect is associated with impurity gas accumulation. Impurities are found to variously influence the operating characteristics of the lasing media considered in this paper.  相似文献

The introduction of interference–polarization filters (IPFs) in the structure of an optical–absorption analyzer makes it possible to pick out a harmonic (a Fourier component of the absorption spectrum) providing measurement with the highest sensitivity. The selectivity of such a method of analysis is determined by overlapping the oscillations of the measured and interfering components. By the example of measurement in benzene in the presence of an interfering component (toluene), the possibility is considered for the optimization of selectivity due to the variation of the path-difference dispersion for ordinary and extraordinary interfering rays. The metrological characteristics of the interference–polarization analyzer of C6H6 confirming the results of calculations are given.  相似文献

It is shown experimentally that an increase in the lasing mixture residence time in the case of a laser module over 60–120 min prior to an experiment elevates the lasing threshold and deteriorates the energy parameter of the laser. The worsening of the energy parameters of the laser may be due to accumulation of impurity gases. It is shown that the presence of impurities affects the working characteristics of the laser media under investigation to various extents.  相似文献

A technique for calculating absorption interference patterns of aromatic hydrocarbons with allowance for the birefringence dispersion of an interference-polarization filter is proposed. An experimental model of an optical absorption gas analyzer based on a Wood filter with magnesium-fluoride plates for measuring benzene and toluene characteristics is described. The measurement data are compared with the calculation results. The possibility of applying a combined plate to improve the selectivity of absorption measurements for benzene with respect to toluene is considered.  相似文献
