Summary The crystal and molecular structure of salicylaldehyde semicarbazone was obtained by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The O atom of the semicarbazone fragment isanti to the N atom of the hydrazinic group. The distribution of bond lengths in the semicarbazone fragment indicates delocalization of the -electrons. The crystal structure is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds.

Zusammenfassung Die Kristallstruktur und die molekulare Struktur des Salicylaldehyd-Semicarbazons wurde über Einkristall-Röntgenstreuung ermittelt. Das O-Atom des Semicarbazonteils stehtanti zum N-Atom der Hydrazin-Gruppierung. Die Bindungslängen in der Semicarbazoneinheit zeigen eine Delokalisierung der -Elektronen an. Die Geometrie der Verbindung wird durch stabilisierende intra- und intermolekulare Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen bestimmt.

Summary The interaction of non-anhydrous solutions of the ligand 1,3-bis-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-propanedione (bhppH3) with hydrated rare earth chlorides resulted in the formation of anhydrous, non-solvated, complexes M(bhppH2)3 (M=Y, La, Nd, Pr, Sm or Yb). The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, t.g., i.r. and1H n.m.r. spectroscopy. The evidence suggests that the coordination is through the -diketone site.  相似文献

In bothA andB the immine nitrogen and the sulfur atom areanti with respect to N2-C8. WhileA presents the usual intramolecular six membered hydrogen bond ring,B has instead an intermolecular hydrogen bond between the hydroxy moiety of the salicyladehyde and a water molecule. Summary Binuclear copper(II) complexes with six 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde N(3)-substituted thiosemicarbazones have been prepared and characterized. I.r., electronic and e.s.r. spectra of the complexes, as well as i.r., electronic, and 1H-and 13C-n.m.r. spectra of the thiosemicarbazones, have been obtained. The crystal structure of a monomeric copper(II) complex of 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde piperidyl-thiosemicarbazone, H25NO2Sapip, grown from DMF solution, has been solved. Neither the thiosemicarbazones or their binuclear copper(II) complexes show growth inhibitory activity against Aspergillus niger, but the copper(II) complexes show some activity against the fungus Paecilomyces variotii.  相似文献

This paper reports on a decision support system for assigning a liver from a donor to a recipient on a waiting-list that maximises the probability of belonging to the survival graft class after a year of transplant and/or minimises the probability of belonging to the non-survival graft class in a two objective framework. This is done with two models of neural networks for classification obtained from the Pareto front built by a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm – called MPENSGA2. This type of neural network is a new model of the generalised radial basis functions for obtaining optimal values in C (Correctly Classified Rate) and MS (Minimum Sensitivity) in the classifier, and is compared to other competitive classifiers. The decision support system has been proposed using, as simply as possible, those models which lead to making the correct decision about receptor choice based on efficient and impartial criteria.  相似文献

Herein, we report the coordination properties towards Zn(ii), Cd(ii) and Pb(ii) of two hexadentate ligands containing pyridinecarboxylate groups with ethane-1,2-diamine (bcpe) or cyclohexane-1,2-diamine (bcpc) backbones. The X-ray crystal structures of [Zn(bcpe)], [Cd(bcpe)] and [Cd(bcpc)] show hexadentate binding of the ligand to the metal ions, with the coordination polyhedron being best described as a severely distorted octahedron. The X-ray crystal structure of the Pb(ii) analogue shows the presence of tetrameric structural units [Pb(4)(bcpe)(4)] in which the four Pb(ii) ions are bridged by carboxylate oxygen atoms. While in the Zn(ii) and Cd(ii) complexes the bcpe ligand adopts a twist-wrap (tw) conformation in which the ligand wraps around the metal ion by twisting the pyridyl units relative to each other, for the Pb(ii) complex a twist-fold (tf) conformation, where a slight twisting of the pyridyl units is accompanied by an overall folding of the two pyridine units relative to each other is observed. Theoretical calculations performed at the DFT (B3LYP) level on the [Pb(bcpe)] and [Pb(bcpc)] systems indicate that the tf conformation is more stable than the tw form both in the solid state and in aqueous solution. The analysis of the natural bond orbitals (NBOs) indicate that the Pb(ii) lone-pair is polarized by a substantial 6p contribution, which results in a hemi-directed coordination geometry around the metal ion. Potentiometric studies have been carried out to determine the protonation constants of the ligands and the stability constants of the complexes with Zn(ii), Cd(ii), Pb(ii) and Ca(ii). The replacement of the ethylene backbone of bcpe by a cyclohexylene ring causes a very important increase in the stability constant of the Pb(ii) complex (ca. 2.3 logK units), while this effect is less important for Cd(ii) (ca. 1.4 logK units). However, the introduction of the cyclohexylene ring does not substantially affect the stability of the Zn(ii) and Ca(ii) complexes. The ligand bcpc shows Pb/Ca and Cd/Ca selectivities [10(8.9) and 10(9.8), respectively] superior to those of extracting agents, such as EDTA, already used in Pb(ii) and Cd(ii) removal from contaminated water and soils.  相似文献

Reaction of 4-formylantipyrine with N(4)-dimethylthiosemicarbazide and 3-piperidylthiosemicarbazide produces the N(4)-dimethylthiosemicarbazone (1), and the 3-piperidyl-thiosemicarbazone (2), respectively. Compound 1 is triclinic, space group P-1 with a = 6.329(1) Å, b = 11.699(1) Å, c = 11.943(1) Å, = 65.83(1)°, = 80.83(1)°, = 84.90(1)°, and V = 796.1(1) Å3 with Z = 2, for D calc = 1.324 g/cm3. Compound 2 is triclinic, space group P-1 with a = 6.784(1) Å, b = 10.485(2) Å, c = 13.462(3) Å, = 102.05(2)°, = 98.61(2)°, = 101.32(2)°, and V = 899.8(5) Å3 with Z = 2, for D calc = 1.319 g/cm3. Reaction of 4-aminoantipyrine with phenyl isothiocyanate produced N-antipyrine-N-phenylthiourea (3). Compound 3 is monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 6.863(7) Å, b = 15.361(3) Å, c = 16.332(5) Å, = 90.35(6)°, and V = 1720.7(18) Å3 with Z = 4, for D calc = 1.306 g/cm3. Compounds 1 and 2 have intermolecular hydrogen bonding between the carbonyl oxygen of the antipyrine moiety and the NH hydrogen of the thiosemicarbazone moiety. In 3 the two unique molecules are held together as a dimer by interactions of the two thiourea NH's and the antipyrine moiety's\break oxygen.  相似文献
