A new automated torsional pendulum is described. It uses a single photocell for the measurement of the period of oscillation and the logarithmic decrement. Data acquisition, data processing and temperature control are all performed by a single microcomputer. The result is that the instrument can be produced and operated more cheaply than before.The principles behind the design, the method of determining the shape factor, the calibration procedure and the software are discussed. Examples are given to illustrate the use of this instrument. A practical limitation is that the loss tangent should not exceed about 3.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe the synthesis of some new quinoxaline-piperazine-oxazole amide conjugates 6a-n from 3-chloroquinoxaline-2-carbonitrile using well-known reaction sequences. The synthesized compounds were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR, and mass spectral analysis. The compounds were tested for their in vitro antiproliferative activity toward four different cancer cell lines such as PC-3, MCF-7, DU-145, and A-549 by MTT method. The compounds, 6c, 6h, 6i , and 6n were found to be more potent than the standard Erlotinib. In vitro tyrosine kinase EGFR inhibition studies using four potent compounds revealed that 6n has double inhibiting tendency with value IC50 of 0.22 μM and 6h with value of IC50 0.27 μM compared to reference compound. Molecular docking studies of active compounds, 6c , 6h , 6i , and 6n on EGFR receptor suggested that all the compounds have more binding energies than that of Erlotinib. Furthermore, the in silico pharmacokinetic profile was accomplished for the active compounds, 6c , 6h , 6i , and 6n using SWISS/ADME and pk CSM, whereas compounds, 6h , 6i , and 6c followed Lipinski rule, Veber rule, Egan rule and Muegge rule. The remaining compound 6n did not follow Lipinski rule, Ghose rule because one common violation, that is, because of high molecular weight (MW > 350).  相似文献

The properties of polystyrene blends containing deuteriopolystyrene, multiply end-functionalized with C8F17 fluorocarbon groups, are strikingly analogous to those of surfactants in solution. These materials, denoted FxdPSy, where x is the number of fluorocarbon groups and y is the molecular weight of the dPS chain in kg/mol, were blended with unfunctionalized polystyrene, hPS. Nuclear reaction analysis experiments show that FxdPSy polymers adsorb spontaneously to solution and blend surfaces, resulting in a reduction in surface energy inferred from contact angle analysis. Aggregation of functionalized polymers in the bulk was found to be sensitive to FxdPSy structure and closely related to surface properties. At low concentrations, the functionalized polymers are freely dispersed in the hPS matrix, and in this range, the surface excess concentration grows sharply with increasing bulk concentration. At higher concentrations, surface excess concentrations and contact angles reach a plateau, small-angle neutron scattering data indicate small micellar aggregates of six to seven F2dPS10 polymer chains and much larger aggregates of F4dPS10. Whereas F2dPS10 aggregates are miscible with the hPS matrix, F4dPS10 forms a separate phase of multilamellar vesicles. Using neutron reflectometry (NR), we found that the extent of the adsorbed layer was approximately half the lamellar spacing of the multilamellar vesicles. NR data were fitted using an error function profile to describe the concentration profile of the adsorbed layer, and reasonable agreement was found with concentration profiles predicted by the SCFT model. The thermodynamic sticking energy of the fluorocarbon-functionalized polymer chains to the blend surface increases from 5.3kBT for x = 2 to 6.6kBT for x = 4 but appears to be somewhat dependent upon the blend concentration.  相似文献

Selective separation of Co(II) from aqueous acidic solutions containing thiocyanate ions has been achieved by using 2-benzylpyridine (BPy) dissolved in benzene. Optimum conditions of extraction by 0.1M BPy are: 0.05M (HCl, HNO3) or 0.01M H2SO4+1 M KSCN. Ascorbate and sulfate ions do not affect the extraction of cobalt(II), whereas acetate, citrate and oxalate ions lower the extraction. Separation of cobalt(II) from Mn, Cr, Hf, Fe, Y, Ce, Cd, Sr, Cs and several rare earth elements can be achieved in a single extraction. Slope analysis by log-log plot reveals that neutral cobalt-thiocyanate species is extracted with the probable formula of the extracted complex as Co(BPY)3 (SCN)2.  相似文献
