Genome classification of 38 banana cultivars found in northeast India was successfully carried out using polymerase chain reaction–restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and inter-retrotransposon amplified polymorphism (IRAP) techniques. The RsaI digestion of the ITS region revealed the composition of A genome in 32 cultivars and B genome in 29 cultivars. With the gypsy-IRAP marker, 33 cultivars were identified to be composed of B genome. The AluI digestion of the 420-bp PCR amplification product using copia-IRAP primer resulted in the identification of the ABB genome in 17 cultivars. Overall, the data obtained from 36 cultivars using the molecular markers were in accordance with the initial classification based on morphological characters except in two cultivars. The present findings provide the reliable information on the genome classification and the status of the existing banana genetic resources from the northeastern Indian region, which could be utilized in improvement and conservation programs.  相似文献

Experimentally measured neutron activation cross sections are presented for the 65Cu(n,0)62mCu,41 K(n,a)38Cl,and 65Cu(n.2n)64Cu reactions with detailed uncertainty propagation.The neutron cross secions were measured at an incident energy of 14.92±0.02 MeV,and the neutrons were based on the(d,n)a fusion reaction.The 27 Al(n,a)24Na reaction was used as a reference reaction for the normalization of the neutron flux.The pre-calib-rated lead-shielded HPGe detector was used to detect the residues'γ-ray spetra.The data from the measured cross sections are compared to the previously measured cross sections from the EXFOR database,theoretically calculated cross sections using the TALYS and EMPIRE codes,and evaluated nuclear data.  相似文献

The semi-empirical PM3 SCF-MO method is used to investigate the Wagner-Meerwein migration of various groups during the pinacol-pinacolone rearrangement of some acyclic systems. Pinacol first protonates and dehydrates to form a carbocation that undergoes a 1,2-migration to form a protonated ketone, which then deprotonates to yield the pinacolone product. We study the Wagner-Meerwein migration of hydride, methyl, ethyl, isopropyl,t- butyl, phenyl and heterocylic 2-, 3-and 4-pyridyl groups in various acyclic 1,2-diol (pinacol) systems as they rearrange to pinacolones. This 1,2-migration involves a three-centred moiety in the cationic transition state. The migratory aptitude predicted here follows the order: hydride >t-butyl > isopropyl > ethyl > methyl > phenyl, which accords well with available experimental data and/or chemical intuition, reflecting also on the ability of the group involved to carry positive charge in the transition state. The structure of the migrating group (whether aliphatic or aromatic) within the transition state also supports the stabilising role of delocalisation of positive charge for reaction feasibility. Geometrical and thermodynamic considerations coincide in assigning the following order to relative “earliness” of the transition state along the reaction pathway:t-butyl > isopropyl > phenyl > methyl > 2-pyridyl > 4-pyridyl  相似文献
