We measure and calculate the aerial image modulation (AIM) of human retina for visible wavelengths based on the individual eye model. By employing the optical design software ZEMAX, we obtain the modulation transfer function (MTF) of human eye in visible wavelengths. Using CSV-1000 and VAF-1000, the contrast sensitivity function (CSF) and the visual acuity (VA) for the same eye are measured. Then the AIM of human retina could be acquired by the relations between MTF and CSF and between MTF and VA. The AIM of human retina is independent of MTF, and the values of AIM for normal eyes (without retina disease) are similar, so the assembly average for large numbers of normal eyes can be a standard AIM curve, which is helpful for the diagnosis of diseases in the retina system. 相似文献
Detecting the underlying performance of hydrated electrons and hydroxyl radicals in the cationic water cluster can greatly help to understand the inter reaction mechanism in the liquid water and aqueous solutions. Based on our previous (H2O)10+ research, we have paid attention to more problems of larger cationic clusters in this work, including the existence of hemibonded type, long-range correction functions, and hydrogen-bonded site analyses. The lower-energy structures of the cationic water cluster (H2O)12+ have been comprehensively explored, and more experienced functions are introduced to check the ground state and vibration spectrum. Unlike the configuration regularity of neutral (H2O)12 clusters and small cationic water clusters, those new-found structures for (H2O)12+ are inclined to adopt three dimension (3D) cage-like structures and the H2O-OH2 structure appears in the higher energy isomer. The calculation reveals that the lowest stable isomer is the 3D cage structure W14 predicted at MP2 level, which has not been reported yet. In the thermal simulation, structure transition from the cage-like to the ring-like occurs at T?>?≈256 K, and the two dimension (2D) ring-like structure occupies a dominant position at high temperature range. The infrared spectra explain that the difference of the spectra between the 2D net structures and 3D cage-structures is mainly caused by the weight fluctuation of single acceptor-single donor (AD), double acceptor-single donor (AAD), and single acceptor-double donor (ADD) sites in these isomers. This further gives a similarity relation between (H2O)12+ and H+(H2O)12 clusters in the shape of the network and spectral characteristics. By molecular orbitals and topological analysis, we find that the lone pair orbital on hydroxyl radical dominates the reactivity and stability of cationic system. The present research may be helpful for exploring the evolution law of the larger cationic water clusters in the future.
We study the skew information-based coherence of quantum states and derive explicit formulas for Werner states and isotropic states in a set of autotensors of mutually unbiased bases (MUBs). We also give surfaces of skew information-based coherence for Bell-diagonal states and a special class of X states in both computational basis and in MUBs. Moreover, we depict the surfaces of the skew information-based coherence for Bell-diagonal states under various types of local nondissipative quantum channels. The results show similar as well as different features compared with relative entropy of coherence and l1 norm of coherence. 相似文献
A human eye model based on anatomically accurate eye model previously proposed by Liou, has been transformed into a new eye model, in which laminated structure of the lens is considered. The crystalline lens is presented in the form of hundreds of shells with rotational symmetry, and with constant index within each shell. The refractive index increases from the cortical shell to the inner one, according to the equation proposed by Smith G. et al. The anterior surface of the lens is prolate, whereas the posterior surface of the lens is oblate which is consistent with the anatomical data. A ray tracing procedure has been applied to study the refractive structure of the eye. The optical characters of the model have been studied. The reason that the wings occur on the spherical aberration curve has been given. And we found that the lens with gradient refractive index and lens with shell structure can give same longitudinal spherical aberration results. 相似文献
Beam expanders being used presently have complex structure and none is perfect. A novel beam expander is proposed first. The beam expander can magnify (or decrease) the diameter of incident laser beam according to the theory of total internal reflection–refraction (TIR-R) principle. The characteristic of the beam expander was studied by using ray-tracing method and computer simulation. The beam expander can propagate a parallel laser beam along the propagation axis and would not change the propagation direction of the beam. For a nonparallel beam the Lagrange invariant (the product of diameter and divergence angle) is not constant. This beam expander would be an effective device in some applications. 相似文献
Design of a wide-angle off-axis optical see-through head-mounted display (HMD) becomes a challenge since its weight and size are constrained by human factors. Diffractive optics has the potential to play a key role in several areas of head-mounted display. They can reduce size and weight while providing some unique functions that would be difficult to implement with conventional refractive optics. This paper presents a 67°-diagonal field of view, wide spectral band hybrid diffractive-refractive see-through head-mounted display (HMD) using off-axis optics. It possesses a 10 mm exit pupil and a 22 mm eye relief, and satisfies the requirements of human factors. The whole optical system is suitable for a 20 mm-diagonal color liquid crystal display (LCD) with XGA resolution. 相似文献
Monochromatic aberrations in post laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) eyes are measured. The data are categorized into reference group and starburst group according to the visual symptoms. Statistic analysis has been made to find the correlation between the ocular wavefront aberrations and the starburst symptom. The rms aberrations of the 3rd and 4th orders for the starburst group are significantly larger than those for the reference group. The starburst symptom shows a strong correlation with vertical coma, total coma, spherical aberrations. For 3-mm pupil size and 5.8-mm pupil size, the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the starburst group are lower than those of the reference group, but their visual acuities are close. MTF and PSF analyses are made for two groups, and the results are consistent with the statistical analysis, which means the difference between the two groups is mainly due to the third- and fourth-order Zernike aberrations. 相似文献
