In this paper, we discuss two key aspects of magnetisation reversal in magnetic thin films with perpendicular anisotropy. Firstly, a study has been made of the additional field required to erase data written perpendicular to a thin film recording disk as the linear data density is increased. It has been found that an increase in data density from 40 to 360 kfci results in an increase of 1.25 kOe in the field required to erase the data. Secondly, the effect of varying the level of exchange coupling by co-sputtering CoCrPt samples with SiO2 has been studied using a characterisation technique that is independent of the self-demagnetising field. It has been found that the samples are fully exchange de-coupled when the film contains >9.8% SiO2 and the activation volume of reversal remains constant for higher levels of SiO2.  相似文献

High-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) was used to purify salidroside from an extract of Rhodiola crenulata with two steps using a two-phase solvent system composed of ethyl acetate-n-butanol-water (1:4:5, v/v) in the first run and chloroform-methanol-isopropanol-water (5:6:1:4) in the second run. The method yielded 21.9 mg of salidroside from 1.216 g of the crude sample at 98% purity determined by HPLC analyses. Identification was performed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and MS.  相似文献

Three new pseudoguaiane-type sesquiterpenes, dichrocepholides A-C, and two new pseudoguaiane-type sesquiterpene dimers, dichrocepholides D and E, were isolated from the aerial part of Dichrocephala integrifolia. Their stereostructures were determined on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence. In addition, the extract and its principal sesquiterpene constituent, parthenin, showed an inhibitory activity on nitric oxide (NO) production and on induction of inducible NO synthase.  相似文献

1,4‐Bis(4‐benzylpyridinium)butadiyne triflate was aggregated in dimethylformamide and spontaneously converted into the 1,4‐addition type of polydiacetylene. The polymerization took place in a dipolar aprotic solvent with a large dielectric constant that could enhance the aggregation of the ionic diacetylene salt through the electrostatic interaction. The molecular weight of the diacetylene was leveled off after 30 h at 80 °C to reach 1.5 × 104 (number‐average molecular weight) that consisted of the 1,4‐addition type of polydiacetylene similar to polydiacetylenes obtained in the conventional solid‐state polymerization. Electron spin resonance spectra revealed that diradicals were generated at the earlier state aggregation to give rise to a solution polymerization. The UV spectra also suggested the presence of the activated aggregation associated with the polymerization as well as the eximer emission spectra. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Preparative separation of methyl gallate in leaves extract of Acer truncatum Bunge was conducted using high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) with a solvent system composed of ethyl acetate-ethanol-water at volume ratios of 5:1:5 (v/v/v). In a single operation, 57.5 mg of methyl gallate was obtained from 120 mg of the extract. HPLC analyses of the counter-current chromatography (CCC) fraction revealed that the methyl gallate was having over 97% purity. Its structure was identified by 1H NMR and 13C NMR.  相似文献

Abstract— The kinetics of enzymatic photoreactivation (PR) of u.v.-induced killing was compared among E. coli Bs-1, phage T1 in Bs-1 and phage T1 in irradiated Bs-1. The PR action spectrum showed no substantial difference between PR of Bs-1 and PR of T1 in Bs-1. The PR D37 (i.e. the PR dose required to reactivate all but 37 per cent of the reactivable lethal lesions) was found to decrease linearly with decreasing U.V. dose whether U.V. was given to produce pyrimidine dimers in Bs-1 DNA, which then compete with irradiated T1 DNA for PR enzyme, or to Bs-1 or T1 DNA to produce dimers serving as substrate for the PR enzyme. A generalized Michaelis-Menten formula was used to analyze the data and the following conclusions were drawn. (1) The number of PR enzyme molecules per cell available for PR of T1 DNA inside the Bs-1 host is only a quarter of the number available for PR of the Bs-1 host itself. (2) The Michaelis constant Km for reaction of host-DNA-damage and PR-enzyme becomes larger when the host damage acts as competitive inhibitor to PR of T1 DNA than when it is the substrate for PR enzyme. (3) PR enzyme retains almost all its initial catalytic efficiency even after about two-hundred rounds of catalytic functioning. Conclusions (1) and (2) suggest that PR enzyme is concentrated within the nuclear area surrounding the host DNA.  相似文献

Salicin in the bark extract of Salix alba and amygdalin in the fruit extract of Semen armeniacae were each separated by slow rotary counter-current chromatography (SRCCC). The apparatus was equipped with a 40-L column made of 17 mm i.d. convoluted Teflon tubing. A 500g amount of crude extract containing salicin at 13.5% was separated yielding 63.5 g of salicin at 95.3% purity in 20h using methyl tert-butyl ether-l-butanol (1:3) saturated by methanol-water (1:5) as a stationary phase and methanol-water (1:5) saturated by methyl tert-butyl ether-1-butanol (1:3) as a mobile phase. A 400g amount of crude extract containing amygdalin at 55.3% was isolated to yield 221.2g of amygdalin at 94.1% purity in 19h using ethyl acetate-1-butanol (1:2) saturated by water as a stationary phase and water saturated by ethyl acetate-1-butanol (1:2) as a mobile phase. The flow rate of the mobile phase was 50 ml/min. The results show that industrial SRCCC separation of salicin and amygdalin is feasible using a larger column at a higher flow rate of the mobile phase.  相似文献

pH-Zone-refining counter-current chromatography was successfully applied to the separation of the main components of Food Color Red No. 106 (R-106, acid red, Color Index No. 45100). A 300-mg quantity of sample was separated using the following two-phase solvent system: n-butanol-water, 40 mM sulfuric acid in organic stationary phase and 30 mM ammonia in aqueous mobile phase. The obtained fractions were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography and fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry. The separation yielded 261.9 mg of main component of acid red with purity of 99.9%.  相似文献

The effect of Coriolis force on the counter-current chromatographic separation was studied using centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC) with four different two-phase solvent systems including n-hexane-acetonitrile (ACN); tert-butyl methyl ether (MtBE)-aqueous 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) (1:1); MtBE-ACN-aqueous 0.1% TFA (2:2:3); and 12.5% (w/w) polyethylene glycol (PEG) 1000-12.5% (w/w) dibasic potassium phosphate. Each separation was performed by eluting either the upper phase in the ascending mode or the lower phase in the descending mode, each in clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise column rotation. Better partition efficiencies were attained by the CW rotation in both mobile phases in all the two-phase solvent systems examined. The mathematical analysis also revealed the Coriolis force works favorably under the CW column rotation for both mobile phases. The overall results demonstrated that the Coriolis force produces substantial effects on CPC separation in both organic-aqueous and aqueous-aqueous two-phase systems.  相似文献
