The binary phase diagram of KNO3-KClO3 is studied by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and high-temperature X-ray diffraction. The limited solid solutions, K(NO3)1−x(ClO3)x (0<x<0.20) and K(NO3)1−x(ClO3)x (0.90<x<1.0), were formed in the KNO3-based solid solutions and KClO3-based solid solutions phase, respectively. For KNO3-based solid solutions, KNO3 ferroelectric phase can be stable from 423 to 223 K as a result of substituting of NO3 by ClO3-radicals. The temperatures for solidus and liquidus have been determined based on limited solid solutions. Two models, Henrian solution and regular solution theory for KNO3-based (α) phase and KClO3-based (β) phase, respectively, are employed to reproduce solidus and liquidus of the phase diagram. The results are in good agreement with the DSC data. The thermodynamic properties for α and β solid solutions have been derived from an optimization procedure using the experimental data. The calculated phase diagram and optimized thermodynamic parameters are thermodynamically self-consistent.  相似文献

Understanding the correlation between crystal structure and thermal conductivity in semiconductors is very important for designing heat-transport-related devices, such as high-performance thermoelectric materials and heat dissipation in micro-nano-scale devices. In this work, the lattice thermal conductivity ( ) of the cage-like compounds Cu3VSe4 and Cu3NbSe4 was investigated by experimental measurements and first-principles calculations. The experimental of Cu3NbSe4 is approximately 25 % lower than that of Cu3VSe4 at 300 K. The relevant important physical parameters, including the sound velocity, heat capacity, weighted phonon phase space (W), and third-order force constants along with atomic mass were theoretically analyzed. It is found that W is the dominant parameter in determining the , and the other factors only play a minor role. The physical origin is the relatively “soft” lattice of Cu3NbSe4 with heavier atomic mass. This research provides deep insight into the correlation between the thermal conductivity and crystal structure and paves the way for discovering high-performance thermal management device and thermoelectric materials with intrinsically low .  相似文献

采用乙酸乙酯为环型和线型聚苯乙烯的非良溶剂, 确定了Mark-Houwink方程分别为[η]_r=1.91×10~(-2)·M~(0.607)和[η]_l=4.06×10~(-2)·M~(0.572)。研究了环型和线型聚苯乙烯的激基缔合物的荧光效应。通过稀溶液中环型和线型高分子线团在柔顺性上存在着差异, 解释了二者之间在荧光效应方面的差异, 并根据实验结果,确定了(I_E/I_M)c→0~M关系式分别为(I_E/I_M)r,c→0=1.91+3.40×10~(-6)M和(I_E/I_M)l,c→0=2.15+3.05×10~(-6)M。  相似文献

Electronic structures of the title complexes have been studied using quantum chemical computations by different methods. It is shown that the results of Xalpha calculations agree well with expectations from classical ligand-field theory, but both are far from being in agreement with the results given by ab initio calculations. The HOMO in the ab initio Hartree-Fock molecular orbital diagrams of all these complexes is a chalcogen p(pi) lone pair orbital rather than the metal nonbonding d(xy)() orbital previously proposed. Electronic transition energies were calculated by CASSCF and CI methods. The results suggest that in the cases when Q = S, Se, and Te the lowest energy transitions should be those from the p(pi) lone pair orbitals to the metal-chalcogen pi orbitals. The calculated and observed electronic spectra of the oxo complex are in good agreement and very different from the spectra of the other complexes, and the lowest absorptions were accordingly assigned to transitions of different origins.  相似文献

Pretreatment of Douglas-fir by steam explosion produces a substrate containing approx 43% lignin. Two strategies were investigated for reducing the effect of this residual lignin on enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose: mild alkali extraction and protein addition. Extraction with cold 1% NaOH reduced the lignin content by only approx 7%, but cellulose to glucose conversion was enhanced by about 30%. Before alkali extraction, addition of exogenous protein resulted in a significant improvement in cellulose hydrolysis, but this protein effect was substantially diminished after alkali treatment. Lignin appears to reduce cellulose hydrolysis by two distinct mechanisms: by forming a physical barrier that prevents enzyme access and by non-productively binding cellulolytic enzymes. Cold alkali appears to selectively remove a fraction of lignin from steam-exploded Douglas-fir with high affinity for protein. Corresponding data for mixed softwood pretreated by organosolv extraction indicates that the relative importance of the two mechanisms by which residual lignin affects hydrolysis is different according to the pre- and post-treatment method used.  相似文献

This research investigated a novel process to prepare polyester from corn stover through liquefaction and crosslinking processes. First, corn stover was liquefied in organic solvents (90 wt% ethylene glycol and 10 wt% ethylene carbonate) with catalysts at moderate temperature under atmospheric pressure. The effect of liquefaction temperature, biomass content, and type of catalyst, such H2SO4, HCl, H3PO4, and ZnCl2, was evaluated. Higher liquefaction yield was achieved in 2 wt% sulfuric acid, 1/4 (w/w) stover to liquefying reagent ratio; 160°C temperature, in 2h. The liquefied corn stover was rich in polyols, which can be directly used as feedstock for making polymers without further separation or purification. Second, polyester was made from the liquefied corn stover by crosslinking with multifunctional carboxylic acids and/or cyclic acid anhydrides. The tensile strength of polyester is about 5 MPa and the elongation is around 35%. The polyester is stable in cold water and organic solvents and readily biodegradable as indicated by 82% weight loss when buried in damp soil for 10 mo. The results indicate that this novel polyester could be used for the biodegradable garden mulch film production.  相似文献

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)‐polyacrylate core–shell nanoparticles were produced by using PTFE micropowder and acrylate via seeded emulsion polymerization in the presence of fluorosurfactant. The properties of emulsion under various polymerization conditions were investigated and optimized. The chemical composition of the PTFE‐polyacrylate nanoparticles was characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR). The particle size and core–shell structure of the resulting PTFE‐polyacrylate nanoparticles were confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Wettability of the PTFE‐polyacrylate core–shell particles was higher than the pristine PTFE. The formation of this kind of PTFE‐polyacrylate core–shell nanoparticles could improve the compatibility of PTFE with other materials because PTFE is covered by polyacrylate shell, which make them promising in various fields.
