Developing Flexible Quinacridone-Derivatives-Based Photothermal Evaporaters for Solar Steam and Thermoelectric Power Generation

Solar-driven interfacial vaporization by localizing solar-thermal energy conversion to the air−water interface has attracted tremendous attention. In the process of converting solar energy into heat energy, photothermal materials play an essential role. Herein, a flexible solar-thermal material di-cyan substituted 5,12-dibutylquinacridone (DCN−4CQA)@Paper was developed by coating photothermal quinacridone derivatives on the cellulose paper. The DCN−4CQA@Paper combines desired chemical and physical properties, broadband light-absorbing, and shape-conforming abilities that render efficient photothermic vaporization. Notably, synergetic coupling of solar-steam and solar-electricity technologies by integrating DCN−4CQA@Paper and the thermoelectric devices is realized without trade-offs, highlighting the practical consideration toward more impactful solar heat exploitation. Such solar distillation and low-grade heat-to-electricity generation functions can provide potential opportunities for fresh water and electricity supply in off-grid or remote areas.

本文对 meso-四(2-H-5-SP)P 的提纯方法进行了改进,同时以光度法研究了该试剂在水溶液中的酸碱平衡、测得其 pKa_1、pKa_2、pKa_3、pKa_4分别为2.99,4.21,8.68,10.28。     

警惕锌剂治疗的毒性和副作用

临床实践证明某些疾病补锌治疗有效，但也发现1％左右的人出现副作用，人类对锌过量虽具有耐受性，但据报道不管是急性中毒量，治疗量，还是常用的自选补充量，均可出现中毒症状。原因是锌与其它元素间有相互作用，特别是与铜的拮抗作用，所以用锌剂一定要严格掌握适应症、剂量、疗程，以免引起不良反应，影响儿童健康。     

Capillary electrophoresis with amperometric detection of curcumin in Chinese herbal medicine pretreated by solid-phase extraction

In the present study, curcumin from Chinese herbal medicine turmeric was determined by capillary electrophoresis with amperometric detection (CE-AD) pretreated by a self-designed, simple, inexpensive solid-phase extraction (SPE) cartridge based on the material of tributyl phosphate resin. An average concentration factor of 9 with the recovery of > 80% was achieved when applied to the analysis of curcumin in extracts of tumeric. Under the optimized CE-AD conditions: a running buffer composed of 15 mM phosphate buffer at a pH 9.7, separation voltage at 16 kV, injection for 6 s at 9 kV and detection at 1.20 V, CE-AD with SPE exhibited low detection limit as 3 x 10(-8) mol/l (S/N = 3), high efficiency of 1.0 x 10(5) N, linear range of 7 x 10(-4) -3 x 10(-6) mol/l (r = 0.9986) for curcumin extracted from light petroleum. The method developed resulted in enhancement of the detection sensitivity and reduction of interference from sample matrix in complicated samples and exhibited the potential application for routine analysis, especially in food, because a relatively complete process of sample treatment and analysis was described.     

关于氧化锌—二氧化硅表面结构和表面酸性的补充研究

我们管报道浸渍法制备的ZnO/SiO_2的表面酸性和表面结构。证明:(1) ZnO单层分散在硅胶表面,分散阔值为～0.22gZnO/100m~2SiO_2;(2) 样品表面出现了单独的ZnO与SiO_2所没有的较强酸位并且其酸量与ZnO表面浓度有很好的对应关系。由此提出了ZnO与SiO_2表面相互作用形成了某种酸性结构单元的观点。Sumiyoshi,Tanabe等曾报道,用共沉淀法制取的ZnO-SiO_2表面酸性显著。认为酸性的根源是ZnO与SiO_2间形成了田部(K.Tanabe)模型所预示的那种二氧化物,结构中     

Electronic effects steer the mechanism of asymmetric hydrogenations of unfunctionalized aryl-substituted alkenes

Density functional theory (PBE and B3LYP) was used to study asymmetric hydrogenations of alkenes catalyzed by an iridium imidazolylidine oxazoline complex. The calculation predicts that the alkene preferentially coordinates to the site trans to the carbene. The coordinated alkene then reacts first with the H2 ligand, then with the hydride to form alkane. Finally, the alkane is released by equilibrating with extrinsic H2 and alkene. Enantioface selectivities for hydrogenations of trisubstituted alkenes seem to be driven primarily by steric interactions with the adamantyl part of the ligand; only the smallest substituents can adopt a site close to it. Application of this theoretical model leads to correct predictions regarding the experimentally observed sense and magnitude of the enantioselectivities.     

Iridium-mediated asymmetric hydrogenation of 2,3-diphenylbutadiene: a revealing kinetic study

Hydrogenation of 2,3-diphenylbutadiene mediated by a chiral iridium carbene oxazoline complex was studied. The kinetics of the reaction showed that it occurred in two distinct stages. The first corresponded to slow consumption of the diene to form half-hydrogenated products, i.e., monoenes. After all the diene was consumed, however, the reaction was much faster and more stereoselective. These data were interpreted in terms of possible catalytic intermediates.     

Hf[N(SO2C8F17)2]4-catalyzed Friedel-Crafts acylation in a fluorous biphase system

In a fluorous biphase system, Hf[N(SO₂C₈F₁₇)₂]₄ complex (1 mol %) catalyzes Friedel-Crafts acylation of aromatic compounds such as anisole, toluene and chlorobenzene, and the corresponding aromatic ketones are obtained in satisfactory to high yields. The catalyst is selectively soluble in lower fluorous phase and can be easily recovered by simple phase separation. Furthermore, the catalyst can be reused without decrease of activity in most cases.
