The synthesis of a water-soluble monomer, namely 4-vinylphenyl-d-gluco(d-manno)hexitol (4) derived from d-gluconolactone, is here presented. The homopolymerization of the vinylsugar has been conducted in both aqueous and organic media using free-radical initiators. High-molar-mass water-soluble polymers are obtained. The copolymerization behavior of the vinylphenyl sugar monomer with a hydrophilic monomer such as acrylamide, as well as with a hydrophobic monomer such as styrene, has been investigated. Statistical- and block-type copolymers have thus been prepared. The structures of the polymers were confirmed by NMR and their thermal properties examined by DSC.  相似文献

From the roots of oat (Avena sativa) a second antibiotic active glycoside, avenacine B, was isolated in addition to the main glycoside avenacine A. In the aglycone of A the double bond could not be established contrary to the statement in the literature but an aldehyde group in addition to the keto group was identified and therefore the proposed structure has to be revised. In the aglycone of B the —CH2OH-group of A has been substituted by CH3. The structures of the sugar chains in both glycosides have been determined, in avenacine A as [β-d-gluco-pyranosyl(1 → 4)-[β-d-glucopyranosyl (1 → 2)]-α-l-arabinosyl (1)- and in B as [β-d-glucopyranosyl (1 → 4)]-β-d-glucopyranosyl (1)-.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Es wird ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung kleiner Cd-Mengen neben der 104-bis 107 fachen Zn-Menge beschrieben. Das Cd wird zunächst als Komplex mit dem Anion der 0,0-Diäthyl-dithiophosphorsäure mittels CCl4 extrahiert. Dieser Komplex wird durch Zugabe von Dithizon unmittelbar in das Cd-Dithizonat umgewandelt, das photometriert wird.
Summary A method is described for the determination of micro-amounts of Cd in the presence of Zn, whose quantity is 105 to 107 times as large as the quantity of Cd. The Cd is first extracted with CCl4 as its complex with 0,0-diethyl-dithiophosphoric acid. This complex is directly converted into the Cd-dithizonate, whose colour intensity is measured.

The 4-nitrobenzyl ester of acetylphenylhydroxyacetic acid differs in its melting behaviour from other nitrobenzyl esters of phenylhydroxyacetic or acetylphenylhydroxyacetic acids, the racemate having a higher melting point than the enantiomers. By means of thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry the ester can be shown to occur in two crystalline modifications. In the process of solidification of the molten mass, at first a modification of higher energy is formed, obviously being caused by an excess of one enantiomer, which is then exothermally rearranged in the lattice of the racemate.  相似文献

We consider semilinear evolution equations for which the linear part generates a strongly continuous semigroup and the nonlinear part is sufficiently smooth on a scale of Hilbert spaces. In this setting, we prove the existence of solutions which are temporally smooth in the norm of the lowest rung of the scale for an open set of initial data on the highest rung of the scale. Under the same assumptions, we prove that a class of implicit, A-stable Runge–Kutta semidiscretizations in time of such equations are smooth as maps from open subsets of the highest rung into the lowest rung of the scale. Under the additional assumption that the linear part of the evolution equation is normal or sectorial, we prove full order convergence of the semidiscretization in time for initial data on open sets. Our results apply, in particular, to the semilinear wave equation and to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation.  相似文献

Nonmelanoma skin cancer resulting from UVB exposure is a large and growing problem in the United States. Production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) during the UVB-induced inflammatory response results in the formation of oxidative DNA adducts such as 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanine (8-oxo-dG), which have been shown to contribute to the development of this cancer. The 8-oxoguanine DNA glycosylase (OGG1) enzyme repairs 8-oxo-dG adducts, suggesting that enhancing its activity in the skin might increase 8-oxo-dG repair thus preventing skin cancer development. We therefore used the SKH-1 murine model to examine the effect of topically applied OGG1 on UVB-induced skin cancer development. Mice were exposed three times weekly to UVB followed immediately by topical treatment with a formulation of liposome-encapsulated OGG1 enzyme for 25 weeks. While this treatment did not affect UVB-induced tumor multiplicity, it did reduce tumor size and dramatically reduced tumor progression, as indicated by tumor grade. These results suggest that oxidative DNA damage contributes to the progression of UVB-induced skin tumors and that a topical formulation containing OGG1, perhaps in conjunction with other DNA repair enzymes such as T4 endonuclease V, could be used in populations at high risk for skin cancer development.  相似文献

By means of deuterium-labeling experiments, we have carried out a systematic ESI-MS study to determine the mechanism of ESI ionization of alkenyl and alkynyl group 6 Fischer carbene complexes. These compounds can be ionized under ESI conditions only in the presence of additives such as hydroquinone (HQ) or tetrathiafulvalene (TTF). Our results demonstrate that in the ESI source an anion-radical is formed after the initial HQ- or TTF-mediated electron transfer to the metallic carbene complex. For alkenyl carbene complexes, this species evolves by extrusion of a hydrogen radical to form an allenylchromium anion that is detected as the [M - H](-) ion in the mass spectrum. The preference for this mechanistic pathway could be rationalized by DFT calculations. In the case of alkynyl carbene complexes, experiments combining deuterated substrate, additive, and solvent demonstrate that the previously proposed allene-anion carbene complex is not formed. Instead, the H transfer from the ethoxy group in the anion radical, followed by extrusion of a hydrogen radical, leads to an allenyl anion that is detected in the ESI-MS as [M - H - CO](-).  相似文献

We investigate the structural dynamics of iodine elimination reaction of 1,2-diiodoethane (C(2)H(4)I(2)) in cyclohexane by applying time-resolved X-ray liquidography (TRXL). The TRXL technique combines structural sensitivity of X-ray diffraction and 100 ps time resolution of X-ray pulses from synchrotron and allows direct probing of transient structure of reacting molecules. From the analysis of time-dependent X-ray solution scattering patterns using global fitting based on DFT calculation and MD simulation, we elucidate the kinetics and structure of transient intermediates resulting from photodissociation of C(2)H(4)I(2). In particular, the effect of solvent on the reaction kinetics and pathways is examined by comparison with an earlier TRXL study on the same reaction in methanol. In cyclohexane, the C(2)H(4)I radical intermediate undergoes two branched reaction pathways, formation of C(2)H(4)I-I isomer and direct dissociation into C(2)H(4) and I, while only isomer formation occurs in methanol. Also, the C(2)H(4)I-I isomer has a shorter lifetime in cyclohexane by an order of magnitude than in methanol. The difference in the reaction dynamics in the two solvents is accounted for by the difference in solvent polarity. In addition, we determine that the C(2)H(4)I radical has a bridged structure, not a classical structure, in cyclohexane.  相似文献
