Uniform asymptotic stability for perturbed neutral delay differential equations

One-dimensional perturbed neutral delay differential equations of the form (x(t)−P(t,x(t−τ)))′=f(t,x_t)+g(t,x_t) are considered assuming that f satisfies −v(t)M(φ)?f(t,φ)?v(t)M(−φ), where M(φ)=max{0,max_s∈[−r,0]φ(s)}. A typical result is the following: if ‖g(t,φ)‖?w(t)‖φ‖ and , then the zero solution is uniformly asymptotically stable providing that the zero solution of the corresponding equation without perturbation (x(t)−P(t,x(t−τ)))′=f(t,x_t) is uniformly asymptotically stable. Some known results associated with this equation are extended and improved.     

A Pseudo-Keggin Compound:Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of (DETAH)(DETAH3)3[V18O42(PO4)]·(PO4)·2H2O

The novel vanadophosphate (DETAH)(DETAH3)3[V18O42(PO4)]·(PO4)·2H2O has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=23.857(3), b=12.9619(18), c=20.204(3) (A), β=105.692(2)°, V=6015.0(14) (A)3, Z=4, Dc=2.473 g/cm3, Mr=2239.68, F(000)=4432, R=0.0725, wR=0.1524 and GOOF=1.095. The metaloxo cluster contains a novel six-capped pesudo-Keggin structure unit which encloses a disorder PO43- guest.     

The First Hybrid Wells-Dawson-type Polytungstate Monosupported by Cd-coordination Complex via Di-bridging O-atom

Polyoxometalates(POMs) with Cd-coordination complexes acting as supporting units are rarely reported. The linkage of the supporting units with inorganic building block(polyanion) is generally established on terminal O-atoms, but scarcely via bridging O-atoms. By introducing liquid small organic molecule(pyridine, C5NH5) as assistant "structure-directing agent", we obtained a novel organic-inorganic hybrid polytungstate,(Hpy)4[Cd(phen)2(P2W18O62)]·nH2O(1, n ≈ 3, py = pyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), under hydrothermal conditions. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that 1 is the first compound containing an asymmetric heteropolyanion, [Cd(phen)2(P2W18O62)]4–, a Wells-Dawson-type polyanion monosupported by Cd-coordination complex via di-bridging O-atoms.     

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Novel Polyoxometalate K(C_4N_2H_(12))_4(C_4N_2H_(11))_(2-)[Mo_8~ⅤMo_4~ⅥCdP_8O_(54)(OH)_8]F·6H_2O

The title compound 1 has been synthesized by the reaction of H_2MoO_4, CdCl_2, H_3PO_4, KF, piperazine hexahydrate and water in aqueous solution under mild hydrothermal conditions. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that the title compound crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P(-1) with a = 14.049(3), b = 15.972(3), c = 20.043(4) (A), α = 85.82(3), β = 81.28(3),γ = 67.15(3)°, V= 4095.9(14) (A)~3, M_r = 3204.62, Z=2,D_c = 2.598 g/cm~3,μ = 2.360 mm~(-1), F(000) = 3124, the final R = 0.0314, wR = 0.0826 and S = 0.989 for 18592 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The crystal packing is stabilized by N-H…O and O-H…O intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form an infinite 3D network.     

乳状液的形成、类型及破坏——以生物柴油制备过程中的水洗实验为例

碱催化法制备生物柴油过程中水洗时形成了大量的乳状液,如何快速、高效地破乳成为水洗过程的难点,通过实验对加热、高速离心分离、加入盐酸溶液、加入饱和食盐水溶液等方法的破乳效果进行了评价。因此以生物柴油制备时的水洗过程为例让学生完成"乳状液的形成、类型及破坏"实验课,不仅使学生掌握了乳状液的形成原因及类型,破乳方法及相应机理,巩固了课本知识,而且生物柴油引起了学生的极大兴趣,有利于提高学生的积极性和课程教学效果。

Impulsive synchronization of chaotic Lur'e systems via partial states

In this Letter, the problem of impulsive synchronization of two identical Lur'e systems via partial states is studied. The problem arises in the situation when only partial states of the driven systems are available. By using the method of the variation of parameters for linear impulsive systems and some analysis technique, a sufficient condition for the existence of the impulsive control law for synchronization via partial states is derived. The sufficient condition is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities concerning the interconnection matrices. By using this result, we propose a new impulsive synchronization scheme for a class of Lur'e systems. The new impulsive synchronization scheme only exerts the impulsive input on partial states of the driven system and is characterized by a set of conditions related to the impulsive interval bound, the impulsive magnitude and a coupling condition between them. The proposed impulsive synchronization method is illustrated through Chua's circuit.
