Fluorescent-based single-strand conformation polymorphism/heteroduplex capillary electrophoretic mutation analysis of the P53 gene.

Fluorescent-based single-strand conformation polymorphism (F-SSCP) analysis with capillary electrophoresis (CE) is the most common method for the detection of mutation because of its high sensitivity and resolution. In this study, we prepared an inexpensive linear polyacrylamide (LPA), and successfully applied it to CE-SSCP analysis and tandem CE-SSCP/heteroduplex analysis (HA) of the P53 gene on an ABI capillary genetic analyzer. A comparison of the sieving capabilities of a homemade LPA and commercial polydimethylacrylamide (PDMA) demonstrates that the homemade LPA has a higher resolution, a shorter analysis time, and is more suitable for tandem SSCP/HA than commercial PDMA. To show the usefulness, mutations of P53 gene exon 7 - 8 in 37 tumor samples were investigated by using homemade LPA. The results indicate that 10 mutations were found in 9 of 37 cases; the majority of P53 mutations were missense mutations, and 70% were located in exon 7, which plays an important role in neoplastic progression in human tumorigenesis.     

类锂硅离子软X射线激光研究

在激光等离子体典型参数条件下，利用碰撞－辐模型计算了类锂硅离子５ｆ－３ｄ和４ｆ－３ｄ跃的粒子数反转比率和激光增益系数。讨论了不同热带条件和不同冷却速度下，激光增益系统数的变化。计算结果表明，高功率，短脉冲激光生产的高温等离子体在快速冷却条件下能产生软Ｘ射的线激光增益。     

Power scaling of printed-circuit-board preionized TEA CO2 laser up to 3.6 kW

A high average power, high-repetition-rate TEA CO₂ laser employing printed-circuit-board preionizer is described. The power scaling of this preionization configuration has been demonstrated. The average output power reaches 3.6 kW at pulse repetition rate of 180 pps. Furthermore, the scaling-up ability of the rotating spark gap as high-voltage switch for high-average-power gas laser has been validated.     

Synthesis of TiO2–SiO2/polymer core–shell microspheres with a microphase‐inversion method

A novel microphase‐inversion method was proposed for the preparation of TiO₂–SiO₂/poly(methyl methacrylate) core–shell nanocomposite particles. The inorganic–polymer nanocomposites were first synthesized via a free‐radical copolymerization in a tetrahydrofuran solution, and the poor solvent was added slowly to induce the microphase separation of the nanocomposite and result in the formation of nanoparticles. The average particle sizes of the microspheres ranged from 70 to 1000 nm, depending on the reaction conditions. Transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy indicated a core–shell morphology for the obtained microspheres. Thermogravimetric analysis and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements confirmed that the surface of the nanocomposite microspheres was polymer‐rich, and this was consistent with the core–shell morphology. The influence of the synthetic conditions, such as the inorganic composition and the content of the crosslinking monomer, on the particle properties was studied in detail. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Homogeneous chemiluminescence system in neutral and near neutral aqueous solution with ClO2 as oxidant and its analytical application

Using ClO₂ as chemiluminescence (CL) oxidant, a novel homogeneous CL system in neutral and near neutral aqueous solution is proposed in this paper. ClO₂ could oxidize sulfite in pH 5.0–8.5 acetate buffer to produce CL emission, and pipemidic acid could sensitize the CL system. The ClO₂–SO₃²⁻–pipemidic acid reaction was used as a model CL system and explored the possibility of highly active and eco-friendly ClO₂ being used as CL oxidant in neutral and near neutral aqueous solution. Combined with flow-injection analysis, the proposed CL system was applied to the automated dissolution testing of pipemidic acid tablet. Compared with the common strong acidic or strong basic CL system, this proposed CL owns its advantages.     

Study of urinary nucleosides as biological marker in cancer patients analyzed by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography

Thirteen normal and modified nucleosides, primarily degradation products of transfer ribonucleic acid (tRNA), were evaluated as potential tumor markers for cancer patients. Their urinary concentrations were determined by means of micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MEKC) in the urine from 54 healthy adults and 70 cancer patients, then quantitatively expressed as a function of creatinine excretion. It was found that urinary nucleosides for cancer patients were on the average significantly higher than those for healthy controls, however, no significant differences were found between male and female or between different ages. Based on 13 urinary nucleoside concentrations, principal component analysis (PCA) could be used to classify 72% of cancer patients from the healthy controls. The present study shows that the precise measurement of urinary nucleosides by MEKC in combining with PCA technique may provide a clinically useful approach for diagnosis of cancer.     

三磷酸胞苷在Duolite A-30树脂上的交换过程研究

根据CTP在离子交换树脂上的吸附容量和分离因数的大小,确定Duolite A-30树脂适合CTP与CDP,CMP之间的分离.对CTP在Duolite A-30树脂上的吸附动力学和热力学研究表明,在283.15K~303.15K之间,CTP的质量浓度在7.5g/L以上时,Duolite A-30树脂对CTP的吸附主要受颗粒扩散的控制,其有效扩散系数为D=3.47×10-7cm2/s,溶液的质量浓度≤1.0g/L时,CTP与Duolite A-30树脂之间的交换速率主要受液膜控制,其液膜扩散系数为Kf =4.112×10-4/s.同时测定了不同条件下三磷酸胞苷溶液在Duolite A-30树脂固定床离子交换柱中的穿透曲线,研究了进口浓度、进口流速、原料液温度、原料液的pH值及柱高对穿透曲线的影响.用二阶动力学推动力模型描述固定床动态过程,考察了轴向返混对穿透曲线的影响,并从穿透曲线回归得到总传质系数,模型计算值与实验数据符合良好.     

Toward the most versatile fluorophore: Direct functionalization of BODIPY dyes via regioselective C—H bond activation

BODIPY dyes are privileged fluorophores that are now widely used in highly diverse research fields. An overview of BODIPY dyes and a summarization of the different synthetic methodologies reported for direct C-H functionalization of the BODIPY framework have been provided.
