The ground-state rotational spectra of eight isotopomers of a complex formed by water and dibromine in the gas phase were observed by pulsed-jet, Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The spectroscopic constants B(0), C(0), delta(J), delta(JK), chi(aa)(Br(x)) (x=i for inner, o for outer), [chi(bb)(Br(x))-chi(cc)(Br(x))] and M(bb)(Br(x)) were determined for H(2)O...(79)Br(79)Br, H(2)O...(81)Br(79)Br, H(2)O...(79)Br(81)Br, H(2)O...(81)Br(81)Br, D(2)O...(79)Br(81)Br and D(2)O...(81)Br(81)Br. For the isotopomers HDO...(79)Br(81)Br and HDO...(81)Br(81)Br, only (B(0) + C(0))/2, delta(J), the chi(aa)(Br(x)) and M(bb)(Br(x)) were determinable. The spectroscopic constants were interpreted on the basis of several models of the complex to give information about its geometry, binding strength and the extent of electronic rearrangement on complex formation. The molecule H(2)O...Br(2) has C(s) symmetry with a pyramidal configuration at O. The zero-point effective quantities r(O...Br(i))=2.8506(1) A and phi(0)=46.8(1), where phi is the angle between the C(2) axis of H(2)O and the O...Br-Br internuclear axis, were obtained under the assumption of monomer geometries unchanged by complexation. Ab initio calculations, carried out at the aug-cc-pVDZ/MP2 level of theory, gave the equilibrium values r(e)(O...Br(i))=2.7908 A and phi(e)=45.7 degrees and confirmed the collinearity of the O...Br-Br nuclei. The potential energy function V(phi), also determined ab initio, showed that the wavenumber required for inversion of the configuration at O in the zero-point state is only 9 cm(-1). By interpreting the Br nuclear quadrupole coupling constants, the fractions delta(O-->Br(i))=0.004(5) and delta (Br(i)-->Br(o))=0.050(2) of an electron were determined to be transferred from O to Br(i) and Br(i) to Br(o), respectively, when the complex is formed. The complex is relatively weak, as indicated by the small value k(sigma)=9.8(2) N m(-1) of the intermolecular stretching force constant obtained from delta(J). A comparison of the properties, similarly determined, of H(2)O...F(2), H(2)O...Cl(2), H(2)O...Br(2), H(2)O...BrCl, H(2)O...ClF and H(2)O...ICl is presented.  相似文献

Vibrational relaxation of the 6(1) level of S(1)((1)B(2u)) benzene is analyzed using the angular momentum model of inelastic processes. Momentum-(rotational) angular momentum diagrams illustrate energetic and angular momentum constraints on the disposal of released energy and the effect of collision partner on resultant benzene rotational excitation. A kinematic "equivalent rotor" model is introduced that allows quantitative prediction of rotational distributions from inelastic collisions in polyatomic molecules. The method was tested by predicting K-state distributions in glyoxal-Ne as well as J-state distributions in rotationally inelastic acetylene-He collisions before being used to predict J and K distributions from vibrational relaxation of 6(1) benzene by H(2), D(2), and CH(4). Diagrammatic methods and calculations illustrate changes resulting from simultaneous collision partner excitation, a particularly effective mechanism in p-H(2) where some 70% of the available 6(1)-->0(0) energy may be disposed into 0-->2 rotation. These results support the explanation for branching ratios in 6(1)-->0(0) relaxation given by Waclawik and Lawrance and the absence of this pathway for monatomic partners. Collision-induced vibrational relaxation in molecules represents competition between the magnitude of the energy gap of a potential transition and the ability of the colliding species to generate the angular momentum (rotational and orbital) needed for the transition to proceed. Transition probability falls rapidly as DeltaJ increases and for a given molecule-collision partner pair will provide a limit to the gap that may be bridged. Energy constraints increase as collision partner mass increases, an effect that is amplified when J(i)>0. Large energy gaps are most effectively bridged using light collision partners. For efficient vibrational relaxation in polyatomics an additional requirement is that the molecular motion of the mode must be capable of generating molecular rotation on contact with the collision partner in order to meet the angular momentum requirements. We postulate that this may account for some of the striking propensities that characterize polyatomic energy transfer.  相似文献

New metal complexes of (Zn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II)) based on the ligand 2-(thiophen-2-yl)-1-(thiophen-2-ylmethyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole] were synthesized, whose structures were determined with the different spectroscopic techniques 1H NMR,13C NMR, FT-IR, UV–Visible and by mass spectrometry. The thermal analysis was performed by TG-DTA. The antioxidant activity of the ligand and its complexes was evaluated by DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method, in comparison with the synthetic antioxidant, ascorbic acid. The results obtained showed that the antioxidant activity of the ligand and its complexes is moderate and that the copper complex has a high activity that exceeds that of ascorbic acid. Antimicrobial activity of the ligand and its metal complexes was studied against two Gram-positive bacteria: Bacillus subtilis ILP1428B, Staphylococcus aureus CIP543154 and two Gram-negative bacteria: Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27653, Escherichia coli CIP5412 (American Type Culture Collection)the activity data show that the metal complexes are more potent than the free ligand.  相似文献

Three catalytic oxidation reactions have been studied: The ultraviolet (UV) light induced photocatalytic decomposition of the synthetic dye sulforhodamine B (SRB) in the presence of TiO2 nanostructures in water, together with two reactions employing Au/TiO2 nanostructure catalysts, namely, CO oxidation in air and the decomposition of formaldehyde under visible light irradiation. Four kinds of TiO2 nanotubes and nanorods with different phases and compositions were prepared for this study, and gold nanoparticle (Au‐NP) catalysts were supported on some of these TiO2 nanostructures (to form Au/TiO2 catalysts). FTIR emission spectroscopy (IES) measurements provided evidence that the order of the surface OH regeneration ability of the four types of TiO2 nanostructures studied gave the same trend as the catalytic activities of the TiO2 nanostructures or their respective Au/TiO2 catalysts for the three oxidation reactions. Both IES and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) proved that anatase TiO2 had the strongest OH regeneration ability among the four types of TiO2 phases or compositions. Based on these results, a model for the surface OH group generation, absorption, and activation of molecular oxygen has been proposed: The oxygen vacancies at the bridging O2? sites on TiO2 surfaces dissociatively absorb water molecules to form OH groups that facilitate adsorption and activation of O2 molecules in nearby oxygen vacancies by lowering the absorption energy of molecular O2. A new mechanism for the photocatalytic formaldehyde decomposition with the Au/TiO2 catalysts is also proposed, based on the photocatalytic activity of the Au‐NPs under visible light. The Au‐NPs absorb the light owing to the surface plasmon resonance effect and mediate the electron transfers that the reaction needs.  相似文献

Initial stages of two-dimensional crystal growth of the double-decker sandwich complex Lu(Pc*)2 [Pc* = 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis(octyloxy)phthalocyaninato] have been studied by scanning tunneling microscopy at the liquid/solid interface between 1-phenyloctane and highly oriented pyrolytic graphite. High-resolution images strongly suggest alignment of the double-decker molecules into monolayers with the phthalocyanine rings parallel to the surface. Domains were observed with either hexagonal or quadrate packing motifs, and the growing interface of the layer was imaged. Molecular resolution was achieved, and the face of the phthalocyanine rings appeared as somewhat diffuse circular features. The alkyl chains are proposed to be interdigitating to maintain planar side-by-side packing.  相似文献

Yttrium doped boehmite nanofibres with varying yttrium content have been prepared at low temperatures using a hydrothermal treatment in the presence of poly(ethylene oxide) surfactant (PEO). The resultant nanofibres were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). TEM images showed the resulting nanostructures are predominantly nanofibres when Y-doping is less than 5%; in contrast Y-rich phases were formed when doping was around 10%. The doped boehmite and the subsequent nanofibres/nanotubes were analyzed by thermogravimetric and controlled rate thermal analysis methods. The boehmite nanofibres produced in this research thermally transform at higher temperatures than boehmite crystals and boehmite platelets. Boehmite nanofibres decompose at higher temperatures than non-hydrothermally treated boehmite.  相似文献

提出固相萃取分离,毛细管柱气相色谱和质谱联用法测定土壤及蔬菜中三唑酮的残留量.试样用乙腈提取,所得提取液在80℃吹氮至近干,并加正己烷2 mL溶解残渣.此溶液流经填充酸性氧化铝的固相萃取小柱,用正己烷-丙酮(2+1)混合溶剂淋洗小柱,使土壤样品中存在的硫磺与需测定的三唑酮分离.用正己烷一丙酮(1+3)混合溶剂将三唑酮从小柱上解吸洗下,所得洗出液蒸发浓缩,用正己烷定容为5.0 mL供GC-MS分析用.测定中用三唑酮标准溶液制备浓度范围在0.006~1.44 mg·L-1之间的标准曲线.方法的检出限(3S/N)为0.001 mg·kg-1.在3个浓度水平上对方法的回收及精密度作了试验,测得其回收率及相对标准偏差(n=5)依次在84%~92 9,5及1.93%~4.04%之间.  相似文献

The ground-state rotational spectra of six isotopomers of the symmetric-top complex H3P...Br2 have been measured by the technique of pulsed-nozzle, Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The spectroscopic constants B0, DJ, DJK, chiaa(Brx) and Mbb(Brx), x=i (inner) or o (outer) bromine atom, were obtained from analysis of the spectra. Interpretation of these constants with the aid of models revealed that the pre-reactive complex has an intermolecular bond of length r(P...Br) = 3.0440(4) A between the P atom of PH3 and one Br atom of Br2 and that this bond is a relatively strong one, as measured by the intermolecular stretching force constant ksigma-9.8 Nm(-1). The complex was discovered to have a significant contribution from charge transfer in the ground state by establishing the fraction of intermolecular charge transferred from P to Bri[sigmai = 0.077(23)] and the fraction of intramolecular charge transferred from Bri to Bro [sigmap(Br)=0.11(1)].  相似文献

Thermoanalytical and electron microscopic methods were used as characterisation tools for the determination of the composition of single walled carbon nanotube samples. Acid purification method of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCN) proved to be effective, resulting in a three fold increase in the percentage of SWNTs present in the purified product as determined by thermogravimetric analysis. In this work we report the thermogravimetric analysis by conventional and high resolution methods of the raw SWNTs and purified SWNTs.  相似文献
