A simple simulation scheme that simultaneously describes the growth kinetics of SiO2 films at the nanometer scale and the SiOx/Si interface dynamics (its extent, and spatial/temporal evolution) is presented. The simulation successfully applies to experimental data in the region above and below 10 nm, reproduces the Deal and Grove linear-parabolic law and the oxide growth rate enhancement in the very thin film regime (the so-called anomalous region). According to the simulation, the oxidation is governed mainly by two processes: (a) the formation of a transition suboxide layer and (b) its subsequent drift towards the silicon bulk. We found that it is the superposition of these two processes that produces the crossover from the anomalous oxidation region behavior to the linear-parabolic law. 相似文献

The influence of nitrogen compounds in grape musts on the content of sulphur compounds of wines was studied. Different vinifications were performed with the addition of methionine (20 mg l−1) and/or cysteine (40 mg l−1) to grape musts before alcoholic fermentation. Six grape musts, with different nitrogen composition, from cultivars of the ‘Vinhos Verdes’ Region, in Portugal, were used. Addition of methionine to grape musts enhanced the content of wines in 3-(methylthio)-1-propanol, acetic acid-3-(methylthio)propyl ester, 3-(methylthio)propionic acid and some unidentified sulphur compounds. Increase of cysteine concentration in musts led to the production of wines with high levels of hydrogen sulphide and cis-2-methyltetrahydro-thiophene-3-OL and also unidentified sulphur compounds; however, the content of 3-(methylthio)propionic acid in the wines decreased considerately with the addition of cysteine to grape musts. This work showed that cultivars from the Vinho Verde Region show different sulphur compound contents. Avesso wines, elaborated from grape musts with low amino acids level, presented the highest total sulphur compounds content. Wines from Azal branco and Alvarinho were characterised by high contents of 4-(methylthio)-1-butanol and 3-(methylthio)propionic acid, respectively. A high content of N-(3-(methylthio) propyl)-acetamide and dimethylsulphone characterise the Loureiro wines. In contrast, Trajadura wines, produced from a must rich in amino acids, presented a low total sulphur compounds content; however, these wines were also characterised by high concentrations of 4-(methylthio)-1-butanol, acetic acid-3-(methylthio)propyl ester and hydrogen sulphide. 相似文献

In this paper we show that wine free amino acids derivatized as isopropyl N-heptafluorobutyryl esters can be used as a tool for wine characterization. Elementary wines of eight Vitis vinifera varieties were studied during a seven year period. The Saccharomyces strains uvarum, montuliensis, bayanus, capensis and florentinus were grown in liquid media prepared from a 1% aqueous glucose solution to which 0.05% of ammonium sulfate or urea were added as the only nitrogen supply. The amino acids exuded during incubation were isolated by cation exchange and derivatized as the corresponding N,O-heptafluorobutyryl isopropyl esters. Separation was achieved on a highly deactivated glass capillary column coated with OV-101. An additivity formula is obtained for the grade of an ideal in a residue ring R/I, where I is a perfect ideal. This result is then applied to compute the grade of ideals of linear (inhomogeneous) polynomials. Further results on the homological rigidity of the conormal module I/I2 are pointed out. A comparison of the performance of the methodologies used in two distinct laboratories (Lab A and Lab B) for multi-element analysis in different wines was carried out. ICP-MS apparatus (quadrupole mass analyzers) of different brands as well as different wine pre-treatments were used. At Lab A, a pre-treatment by UV-irradiation was performed. At Lab B, a micro-concentric nebulizer was used for direct analysis of the wine. Twenty-six elements (Li, V, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Rb, Sr, Ba, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, and Pb) were measured in common at the two labs in three different wine samples (red and white Bordeaux table wines and Port wine) and the results were compared. The two methodologies provided similar LODs and similar precisions, with RSDs of 0.5-5%, for most of the elements. The recovery percentages were 85-120% at Lab A for the three wines, and 78-119% at Lab B for the Bordeaux wines, validating the accuracy of the methods used. Comparable results were obtained at both labs for ten elements (Li, V, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Rb, Sr, Ba, and Pb) in the three selected wines; the differences were lower than 10% in most cases. For REEs, the differences observed were slightly higher, but still in the acceptable range due to the sub-ppb levels involved. The results obtained for As and Ga were not comparable, due to methodological influence. A comparison through linear least-squares adjustment indicated that the results obtained by the two labs were linearly correlated (correlation coefficient =0.997) but statistically different as the slope was slightly, but significantly different from one, for a confidence level of 95% (the intercept was statistically identical to zero in any case). We performed electric arc discharges in pure Si to generate luminous balls with lifetime in the order of seconds and several properties usually reported for natural ball lightning. This simple experiment does not rely on energy sources and excitation mechanisms that are improbable in the natural phenomenon and clearly demonstrates the role of vaporization and oxidation of Si, as proposed by the Abrahamson-Dinniss theory for ball-lightning formation. 相似文献
