Fluordiazadiphosphetidine, 11. Mitt.: Eine neue Methode zur Herstellung der doppelt zwitterionischen Verbindung (CH3N)6P4F8

A new synthetic route for the preparation of the betain-like compound (CH₃N)₆P₄F₈ from (CH₃NPF₃)₂,N-methyl-hexamethyldisilazane andN,N-dimethyl-urea has been found. The steps of this multi-stage reaction could be rationalized to a far extent.

Reaction of (CH₃NHPF₄)₂ with selected organometallic reagents yields (CH₃NPF₃)₂, while reaction with non-nucleophilic bases such as 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) or 1,8-Bis(dimethylamino)naphthalin and with alkali fluorides yields ionic compounds with the diazoniadiphosphatetidine ring as a dianion.

Zusammenfassung Monomere Phosphinimine der allgemeinen Formel C₆H₅N= =PCl _n (NEt₂)_3-n (n=0,1,2) lassen sich (I) aus dimerem Phenylimino-phosphorsäure-trichlorid und Diäthylamin in Gegenwart eines Chlorwasserstoffakzeptors und (II) durch Reaktion der Phosphine PCl _n (NEt₂)_3-n mit Phenylazid darstellen. Die Phosphorane Et₂NPCl₄, (Et₂N)₂PCl₃ und (Et₂N)₃PBr₂ reagieren mit Anilin nicht zu Phenylimino-Verbindungen. Durch alkalische Hydrolyse von C₆H₅N=PCl(NEt₂)₂ entsteht das Phosphorsäure-bis[diäthylamino]-anilid. Die IR- und¹H- und³¹P-NMR-Spektren der Verbindungen werden mitgeteilt.

Monomeric phosphinimines of the general formula C₆H₅N= =PCl _n (NEt₂)_3-n (n=0,1,2) are formed (I) from dimeric phenyliminophosphoricacid-trichloride and diethylamine in the presence of a HCl-acceptor and (II) by reacting the phosphines PCl _n (NEt₂)_3-n with phenylazide. The phosphoranes Et₂NPCl₄, (Et₂N)₂PCl₃ and (Et₂N)₃PBr₂ do not give the corresponding phenylimines with aniline. Alkaline hydrolysis of C₆H₅N= =PCl(NEt₂)₂ gives bis[diethylamino]-anilido-phosphinoxid. IR-,¹H- and³¹P-NMR-spectra are given.

Prolonged heating of (CH₃NPF₃)₂ in a sealed tube at 120°C yields (CH₃N)₄P₃F₇ and PF₅. Under the experimental conditions these compounds react to (CH₃N)₄P₃F₆ ⁺PF₆ ^–. Reaction of (CH₃NPF₃)₂ in the presence of PF₅ leads to a marked decrease in the formation of the ionic compound. The influence of the fluoride donating saltsMF (M=Li, Na, K, Cs) is investigated.

Zusammenfassung Dimethyltriazaniumnitrat,-perchlorat,-methylsulfonat,-toluolsulfonat,-bromid und-jodid wurden aus Dimethyltriazaniumchlorid mit den entsprechenden Silbersalzen in Methanol oder mit Kaliumhalogeniden in fl. NH₃ dargestellt. Durch Reaktion mit der OH-Form eines basischen Ionenaustauschers läßt sich eine verd. wäßr. Lösung des Hydroxids erhalten. Das Verhalten von Dimethyltriazaniumchlorid in neutraler, saurer und alkalischer wäßr. Lösung wird diskutiert.

Dimethyltriazanium-nitrate, -perchlorate, -methylsulfonate,-toluolsulfonate, -bromide and -iodide were prepared by reaction of dimethyltriazaniumchloride with the appropriate silver salts in methanol or with potassium halides in liquid ammonia. Treatment of [(CH₃)₂N(NH₂)₂]Cl with the OH-form of a basic ion exchange resin yields a dilute aqueous solution of dimethyltriazaniumhydroxide. The stability of dimethyltriazaniumchloride in neutral, acidic and basic aqueous solution will be discussed.
