To investigate whether the two fatigue processes of crack initiation and propagation can be combined, the change of local notch root strain and its history, as well as the change of local crack tip strain and the local strain history, of a fatigued element ahead of the propagating crack tip up to failure in a polycarbonate subjected to low-cycle fatigue tests are measured by the fine grid method. As a result, the existence of a unified local strain field in which the two fatigue processes can be substantially combined is experimentally confirmed. Therefore, the local crack tip strain may be examined by a simpler, one-parameter approach for fatigue life estimation.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new three-wavelength method for automatic measurement of principal-stress directions over an entire model on the basis of four-step phase shift method. This method uses four fringe patterns captured by a color charge-coupled devices (CCD) camera corresponding to four angular position arrangements of polaroids in a dark-field plane polariscope. The principal-stress directions can be determined by a single calculation. The method is applied to a circular disc under compression. The principal-stress direction distributions obtained from the proposed method are compared with those obtained from a conventional method and theory. It can be obviously seen that the proposed method accurately yields the principal-stress directions compared with the conventional method.  相似文献

A generalized phase-shift method is developed for automatic measurement of principal-stress directions in the whole field of a model from photoelastic experiments. This method uses a set of light intensities obtained from the rotation of polaroids in dark-field plane polariscopes at each point. To investigate the accuracy of the measurement, time-series light intensity curves with different noise and different numbers of data which constitute the curves are used in computer simulation. The error of the measurement of the principal-stress directions obtained by the method is not greatly affected by noise when the number of data exceeds 50. This method is applied to a circular disk subjected to a concentrated load. Reduced molybdoantimonylphosphoric acid is extracted into di-isobutyl ketone (DIBK) and phosphorus in the extract is indirectly determined by inductively-coupled plasma emission spectrometric measurement of the Mo II 202.03-nm or Sb I 206.83-nm line. Washing of the extract with acid is unnecessary because of the low solubility of DIBK in water. Arsenic(III), Si, Ge, Fe(III) and most anions do not cause serious interference but arsenic(V) must be absent. The detection limits are 5.2 and 45 pg P ml-1, and the relative standard deviations for 1 μg of phosphorus are 2.0% and 2.5%, for molybdenum and antimony measurements, respectively. The method is applied in the analysis of river and seawater.  相似文献

The mechanism by which proteins are solvated in hydrated ionic liquids remains an open question. Herein, the photoexcitation dynamics of photoactive yellow protein dissolved in hydrated choline dihydrogen phosphate (Hy[ch][dhp]) were studied by transient absorption and transient grating spectroscopy. The photocyclic reaction of the protein in Hy[ch][dhp] was similar to that observed in the buffer solution, as confirmed by transient absorption spectroscopy. However, the structural change of the protein during the photocycle in Hy[ch][dhp] was found to be different from that observed in the buffer solution. The known change in the diffusion coefficient of the protein was apparently suppressed in high concentrations of [ch][dhp], plausibly due to stabilization of the secondary structure.  相似文献

Various β-lactones were prepared from β-hydroxycarboxylic acids by intramolecular dehydration condensation using MNBA, an effective coupling reagent, along with a nucleophilic catalyst. The transition state that provides the desired 4-membered ring model system is disclosed by density functional theory (DFT) calculations, and the structural features of the transition form are discussed. This method was successfully applied to the asymmetric total synthesis of tetrahydrolipstatin (THL), an antiobestic drug used in clinical treatment to inhibit the activity of pancreatic lipase.  相似文献

The Mo II 213.61 nm line interfered with the P I 213.62-nm line. The method is applied to 0.2–200 μg of phosphorus in 500 ml of river or sea water. Arsenic(III), Si, Ge, Fe(III) and most anions do not interfere, but As(V) >10 × P) causes positive errors. The detection limit is 0.37 ng P ml-1, and the relative standard deviation for 5 μg of phosphorus is 2.1%.  相似文献

A method for extracting isotropic points in structures using simulated isoclinics obtained from a combination of photoelastic experiments and finite element analysis (FEA) is presented. This method is divided into two parts. The first part involves the confirmation of the boundary condition necessary for FEA using isochromatics obtained by photoelastic experiments. The second part involves the determination of isotropic points using simulated isoclinics obtained by FEA under the boundary condition confirmed by photoelastic experiments. This method is applied to a ring and T-shaped plates subjected to a compressive load. The results show that the isotropic points in the ring and T-shaped plates could be accurately and easily extracted by this method.  相似文献

The static second hyperpolarizability (γ) of a singlet diradical system involving phenalenyl radicals linked with acetylene π-conjugated bridge, BPLE, is investigated as well as reference closed-shell systems, BPRY1 and BPRY2, by the hybrid density functional theory method. The γ value of BPLE with intermediate diradical character is shown to be about four times as large as that of BPRY1 with similar π-conjugation length and to be about twice as large as that of BPRY2 with longer π-conjugation length. This feature is in agreement with our prediction that the molecules with intermediate diradical characters enhance γ values compared to the closed-shell molecules.  相似文献
