The microwave spectrum of ethyl fluoroformate displays strong a-type R branch transitions from two rotameric forms. One species (extended form) has rotational constants A0 = 9191.3(9) MHz, B0 = 2112.61(1) MHz, C0 = 1756.73(1) MHz which are consistent with a syn-anti (τ1(OCOC) = 0°, r2(cocc) = 180°) planar heavy atom structure. The second species (compact form) has rotational constants A0 = 7760(3) MHz, B0 = 2388.38(4) MHz, C0 = 2102.47(3) MHz which are consistent with a syn-gauche1(ococ) = 0°, τ2(cocc) ˜ 90°) structure. The two conformational forms have approximately equal energy (0 ± 40 cm−1). Four vibrational satellites of the extended species have been analyzed yielding a torsional frequency around the O-ethyl bond of 70(10) cm−1. Three vibrational satellites attributed to the O-ethyl torsion of the compact species have been analyzed yielding a vibrational frequency of 90(10) cm−1. Approximate Fourier coefficients of a three term potential function for internal rotation about the O-ethyl bond have been determined. Vibrational satellites attributed to the first excited states of the O-ester torsion have been analyzed for both conformers. The torsional vibrational frequency around the O-ester bond is 110(15) cm−1 for the extended conformers and 120(20) cm−1 for the compact.  相似文献

Nominally pure and Tm3+-doped LiCaAlF6 crystals were grown by the Czochralski technique in a reducing atmosphere. The optical properties of transparent single crystals were studied using absorption and time-resolved luminescence spectroscopy in the VUV spectral range (330-100 nm). The strongest VUV emission peaking at 60 800 cm−1 with a decay time of 5.6 μs (7 μs) at 300 K (7.4 K) was assigned to the spin-forbidden 4f115d-4f12 transition of Tm3+. The fine structure observed in the VUV emission and corresponding excitation spectra indicate intermediate strength of electron-phonon coupling in this system. The efficient excitation of f-f emissions above 72 000 cm−1, higher than the onset of f-d absorption at 63 000 cm−1, is mainly caused by the F to Tm3+ charge transfer absorption. The nature of various host-related excitation processes in the energy transfer to the Tm3+ ions is discussed.  相似文献

Cooperrider's mathematical model of a railway bogie running on a straight track has been thoroughly investigated due to its interesting nonlinear dynamics (see True [1] for a survey). In this article a detailed numerical investigation is made of the dynamics in a speed range, where many solutions exist, but only a couple of which are stable. One of them is a chaotic attractor.Cooperrider's bogie model is described in Section 2, and in Section 3 we explain the method of numerical investigation. In Section 4 the results are shown. The main result is that the chaotic attractor is created through a period-doubling cascade of the secondary period in an asymptotically stable quasiperiodic oscillation at decreasing speed. Several quasiperiodic windows were found in the chaotic motion.This route to chaos was first described by Franceschini [9], who discovered it in a seven-mode truncation of the plane incompressible Navier–Stokes equations. The problem investigated by Franceschini is a smooth dynamical system in contrast to the dynamics of the Cooperrider truck model. The forcing in the Cooperrider model includes a component, which has the form of a very stiff linear spring with a dead band simulating an elastic impact. The dynamics of the Cooperrider truck is therefore non-smooth.The quasiperiodic oscillation is created in a supercritical Neimark bifurcation at higher speeds from an asymmetric unstable periodic oscillation, which gains stability in the bifurcation. The bifurcating quasiperiodic solution is initially unstable, but it gains stability in a saddle-node bifurcation when the branch turns back toward lower speeds.The chaotic attractor disappears abruptly in what is conjectured to be a blue sky catastrophe, when the speed decreases further.  相似文献

Experimental and computational THz (or far-infrared) spectra of polycrystalline valine samples are reported. The experimental spectra have been measured using THz time-domain spectroscopy. Spectra of the pure enantiomers, both D and L, as well as the dl racemate have been taken at room temperature and low temperature (78 K). The spectra of the pure D and L enantiomers are essentially identical, and they are markedly different from the DL racemate. In addition, a temperature-dependent study of L-valine was undertaken in which the absorption maxima were found to red shift as a function of increasing temperature. The vibrational absorption spectra (frequencies and intensities) were calculated using the harmonic approximation with the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE) functional, localized atomic orbital basis sets, and periodic boundary conditions. The calculated and experimental spectra are in good qualitative agreement. A general method of quantifying the degree to which a calculated mode is intermolecular versus intramolecular is demonstrated, with the intermolecular motions further separated into translational versus rotational/librational motion. This allows straightforward comparison of spectra calculated using different basis sets or other constraints.  相似文献

Integration of imaging data across different molecular target types can provide in‐depth insight into cell physiology and pathology, but remains challenging owing to poor compatibility between target‐type‐specific labeling methods. We show that cross‐platform imaging analysis can be readily achieved through DNA encoding of molecular targets, which translates the molecular identity of various target types into a uniform in situ array of ssDNA tags for subsequent labeling with complementary imaging probes. The concept was demonstrated through multiplexed imaging of mRNAs and their corresponding proteins with multicolor quantum dots. The results reveal heterogeneity of cell transfection with siRNA and outline disparity in RNA interference (RNAi) kinetics at the level of both the mRNA and the encoded protein.  相似文献

The microwave spectrum of isopropyl fluoroformate is characterized by intense a-type R-branch transitions from one conformational species. The rotational constants of the ground state, A0 = 4967.0(8) MHz, B0 = 1704.69(2) MHz, C0 = 1468.86(1) MHz and κ = −0.8651(2) are consistent with a τ1 (O=COC) = 0°, τ2(COCH) ˜35° structure. This structure can be viewed as a combination of the two conformational species found in ethyl fluoroformate. Two vibrational satellites having rotational constants A0 = 4963(5) MHz, B0 = 1694.11(7) MHz. C0 = 1471.43(4) MHz and A0=4998(6) MHz, B0 = 1705.21(7) MHz, C0 = 1471.10(4) MHz have been assigned.  相似文献

The microwave spectrum of ethyl cyanoformate displays a-type band spectra from three nearly prolate conformers. High-resolution spectra of the two more stable species have been assigned. One form, designated extended, has rotational constants A″ = 6453.3(4) MHz, B″ = 1500.47(6) MHz, C″ = 1236.36(6) MHz, which are consistent with a syn-anti [τ1 (OCOC) = 0°, τ2 (COCC) = 180°] structure. The second form, labeled compact, has rotational constants A″ = 6787.8(7) MHz, B″ = 1549.38(8) MHz, C″ = 1406.80(8) MHz, which are consistent with a syn-gauche [τ1 (OCOC) = 0°, τ2 (COCC) ~ 90°] structure. The extended form is marginally more stable, ΔE = 55 ± 27 cm?1. The extended conformer has dipole moment components μa = 4.44(7), μb ~ 0 D and the compact conformer has dipole moment components μa = 4.25(7), μb = 0, μc = 1.08(23) D. The third conformer (relative energy 600 ± 140 cm?1) has the most intense band series even at ?63°C. the bands of this conformer are unresolvable into individual rotational transitions.  相似文献

Low-resolution microwave spectra of species torsionally excited above an internal rotation barrier are observed. Although the population of a single excited state is not large, the total population of these spectrally unresolved states is often sufficient to yield intense band spectra.  相似文献
