We have studied the kinetics of the process of epoxidation of 1-octene by tert-butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of molybdenum boride MoB2. We have studied the effect of the concentrations of starting materials and reaction products on the process. We suggest a kinetic scheme and we calculate the kinetic parameters of the process. 相似文献

with one plane of symmetry. The technique is used for numerical analysis of truncated cones made of binder-impregnated filaments

The paper outlines a procedure to derive the canonical system of equations of the classical theory of thin shells using Reissner’s
variational principle and partial variational principles. The Hamiltonian form of the Reissner functional is obtained using
Lagrange multipliers to include the kinematical conditions that follow from the Kirchhoff-Love hypotheses. It is shown that
the canonical system of equations can be represented in three different forms: one conventional form (five equilibrium equations)
and two forms that are equivalent to it. This can be proved by reducing them to the same system of three equations. For problems
with separable active and passive variables, partial variational principles are formulated

The catalytic effect of VSi2 on initial stages of the liquid-phase oxidation of cyclooctene by molecular oxygen was studied. The vanadium disilicide influences
on the oxidation process in the presence of hydroperoxide. VSi2 takes part in a radical formation stage by catalysis of hydroperoxide decomposition reaction. The catalyst was investigated
before and after reaction using FTIR spectroscopy. From the data obtained, the kinetic model of the catalytic oxidation process
was proposed and the equation for the reaction rate was derived. The equation has described all observed dependences of reaction
rate on the concentration of reactants and content of catalyst.

The functional in the principle of minimum potential energy of layered anisotropic shells with a nonlinear relationship between
strains and displacements is transformed into a canonical integral that coincides with the functional in the Reissner principle.
Partial forms of the functional are derived for problem formulations where the dimension can be reduced with respect to one
of the coordinates. The canonical system of equations is linearized and then normalized. The boundary-value problem is solved
by the numerical discrete-orthogonalization method. An anisotropic spherical shell under external compression is analyzed

The kinetics of the liquid-phase oxidation of cyclooctene by molecular oxygen in the presence of a MnC2 catalyst is studied. It is found that MnC2 is an initiator of this reaction and has no effect on the steps of chain propagation and termination. The oxidation occurs
by a radical chain mechanism with the escape of radicals to the bulk of the reaction mixture. Radicals are formed by the interaction

The paper sets forth a technique, based on the Kirchhoff–Love theory of shells, for solving stability problems for thin-walled laminated shells of revolution made of an anisotropic material with one plane of elastic symmetry. The resolving system of differential equations is of the 16th order since the symmetric and asymmetric buckling modes are coupled. The results from a stability analysis of cylindrical shells made of carbon plastics and subjected to compression are analyzed against the angle of the principal directions of elasticity.
